CHAPTER FORTY-TWO: IMPOSTER SYNDROME

 ALPHA TREVOUR

"I heard about what happened between you and Doreen and I must agree with you that she's a sly witch!,"

Standing there in the gym house with my mate spitting nonsense at me didn't make me livid and frustrated like I thought it would be, instead it irritated me.

He must have noticed that I'm very quiet and observant since he started taking and that's because I don't want to hurt his feelings with my sharp words.

"This is my space Trevour, I'm supposed to be here alone with my maid and guards, this is where I come to gym and I don't need you to meddle in my life,"

Of course I sounded so sweet and at peace, Cecilia and my mother would give me a hug right now if they saw how I handled my speech and breath control.

The same man who was always able to get under my skin, suddenly became useless and annoying to me. I just couldn't believe that it would be so easy to conclude on what and who I want.
