CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO: ROOTS OF YOUR PROBLEMS

 LILIAN POV

"For how long do you think you can escape me? It's a very harmless question and you don't need to answer if you don't want to,"

She sat right there on my bed, eyes glaring at me. Looking at Josephine now, I never believed I would see her after she fled from me, well after she almost ruined my life and ran.

"Are you still pissed because my parents chose me instead of you in the orphanage! Is that why you keep coming after me and refuse to let me be? Is that why you chase me at every opportunity you get?,"

The questions I asked her felt too weak and I felt deep down that I could do more, things like this grab her head and yank it off her neck.

She is the cause of my son's predicament, the reason he can't be himself, the reason people fear him and call him a demon. All because of her hate.
