Chapter 22 - Slaying the Gods!

Within a few short days, the armies of both sides collided together and arrived outside the main city of the Blackhoof Clan.

On the one hand, there was an army of Orcs with a complete military establishment, with warriors, shamans, priests, and other professions all complete.

On the other side, there was a half-demon army with Abbott, a high-ranking demon, and although the soldiers were of a single type, all of them possessed black armor mixed with antimagic stones.

The difference in the number of soldiers between the two sides was relatively large, with Abbott's army outnumbering the other almost to the point of one to two.

Both armies were facing each other outside the city, and it looked like the other side was very confident about this battle.

They were prepared to take out Abbott's army just outside the walls.

  .....

It is being confronted by both sides.

"You depraved and evil demons, from the moment you set foot in our territory, don't even think about going back alive!"

  "Here, will be your graves!"

An orc in the opposing army with a scimitar stepped forward and came to the front of the line and shouted at Abbott and the others.

This was a Legend level powerhouse handpicked by the other side to give Abbott and the others a head start.

"Come on! Demon, don't you have the guts to fight me one on one!"

When he finished, he provocatively rushed at Abbott and the others with his machete in an arrogant manner.

The soldiers behind him were so demoralized by the sight of someone on their side standing up that they picked up their weapons and banged the ground to let out a roar.

Abbott frowned and was just about to go over to his opponent for seconds.

  But Will volunteered to fight.

In fact, Will's mind had its own calculations, and he was ready to make a good impression on Abbott through this fight.

After all, this lord's future was unlimited, and if he himself hugged this thick leg tightly, then he would also have the day when his chicken and his dog would rise.

If you don't show it now, when will you do it?

So, with his newly crafted steel longsword in hand, Will stepped forward.

"Hmph, how does a stinking dog deserve and challenge our Lord of the Scarlet City? The gods you believe in are not even worthy of being compared to our lord, let alone you?"

Apparently, Will's words had angered the other man.

Only to see the scimitar orc's crimson eyes and nose gasping for air, it looked like he wanted to fight Will to the death.

The two were getting closer and closer, and unsurprisingly both sides were going to have to split the difference between life and death.

"Who did I think it was, but it's you traitors who have defected to the devil, the gods will judge you!"

The scimitar orc slashed at Will as he spoke.

Will blocked the blow lightly, grinning sardonically.

"Hmph, judge us? Your god will live through this war first!"

Then Will began to lash out, and began a furious assault on his opponent.

The steel longsword was as light as a feather in his hands, and there was no sense of effort at all.

Although Will had the upper hand, he didn't rush, but used his exquisite sword skills to slowly humiliate his opponent by cutting a slash in his body.

A contest of physical strength? Just what demons do best, and so do half-demons.

"Orc Sword Saint!" The other party just reacted.

"No, I'm a Half-Demon Sword Saint!" Will slashed his opponent's throat with a sword in his opponent's terrified eyes,.

Then turned to Abbott and bent over before Will was ready to cut off the other man's head and go back for credit.

Just as Abbott's army cheered, a tall, pale blonde female orc in the orc army lurched out, a pure white holy sword in hand, and stabbed at Will.

It was the God of Forge and Trade, and she had the audacity to directly intervene in the duel!

  "Don't you dare!"

Abbott immediately stepped in and slashed at the female orc.

At first the pale blonde female orc cared nothing for Abbott, but as Abbott approached, a tyrannical aura that emboldened her forced her to stop.

But instead of letting her go, Abbott swung his sword heavily, flinging out a razor-sharp blast.

The female orc immediately grabbed her holy sword to parry it, dodging it with seeming ease.

But just at this time, the voice of the Demon Sword's Evil Purpose rang out from Abbott's mind.

"Divine blood! It's actually divine blood! It's been a long time since I've tasted the blood of a god, boy, let's have a good kill today!"

  Tick!

A drop of golden blood dripped to the ground!

  The gods bled!

The female orc was surprised as she touched the several centimeter deep gash on her face, her expression changing from shock to anger.

"You damned devil! All the troops listen to the order, kill them all!"

And Abbott saw it, and there was madness in his eyes.

"Haha, Evil Eye, I'll let you drink the blood of the gods to your heart's content today!"

The magic sword in his hand was swung.

"All warriors under my banner obey! Crush them! No mercy!"

The armies on both sides first froze when they heard the two almost simultaneous orders, then reacted and simultaneously rushed to kill each other.

Instead, Abbott and the God of Forge and Trade slowly rise into the air, ready to face off.

  Black feathers against golden wings!

  Devil's Sword versus Holy Sword!

This is the battle between demons and gods!

Abbott realizes that this deity is not now in her true form, but has used divine descent to descend over her descendants, and is no more powerful than the true deity herself.

And she was worthy of having the Forge Position, even in her doppelganger, there wasn't a single piece of equipment on her body that wasn't Legendary level.

It seemed that this was the essence of her daring to use her doppelganger to fight high-ranked demons head-on.

But unfortunately the Magic Sword Evil Eye in Abbott's hand was not a mere mortal item, but a genuine artifact, even a super magic sword that had previously reached the epic level.

"Godslayer Sword Art - Storm Style!"

Abbott realized that his opponent was not as experienced in combat as he was, and not surprisingly, after one of his opponent's mistakes, Abbott immediately unleashed his sword technique.

Only to see those countless sword qi in the sky slash the God of Forging and Trade's doppelganger almost simultaneously.

In an instant, almost half of her proud defense gear broke, and countless tiny wounds appeared all over her body.

The golden blood made the crowd on the battlefield think that there was a golden rain falling from the sky.

  "Ahhhhh! How dare you!"

Hearing the screams of their gods, many of the orcs' hearts shuddered and their faces turned pale as they were finished off by the laughing demons next to them.

The God of Forge and Trade didn't expect Abbott to have such powerful weapons and skills, which made her somewhat regret sending only one of her doppelgangers.

When she realized that this doppelganger was no match for Abbott, she had her heart set on unleashing her killer.

  The bilocation blew itself up!

If the doppelganger with divine power succeeded in blowing itself up next to Abbott, even Abbott would probably be seriously injured, and even falling on the spot was possible.

But how could Abbott let his opponent get what he wanted.

  "Thunder style!"

Abbott's figure was like a black lightning, and before the opponent could react he cut off his head with a sword and grabbed it in his hand!

The body of the deity doppelganger fell onto the battlefield, smashing out a not-so-small crater.

The head's last expression remained one of shock!

"Foolish orcs! Is this the god you believe in?"

Abbott grasped the head of the deity's doppelganger and laughed at the bottom of the battlefield.

Many of the beasts couldn't take such a big blow for a while and froze on the spot.

In the meantime, Abbott sensed that the Cloak of Pride had collected quite a few dead souls in the battlefield, less than a hundred thousand, but a few thousand were there!

"Invocation!" Abbott gripped the scarlet cloak and swung it.

Thousands of horribly shaped undead souls burst out of their cloaks and pounced on the orc army.

These horrible undead souls made the orcs' sword attacks almost ineffective, and only those shamans and priests were able to hurt them effectively.

  "Kill me!"

The situation on the battlefield quickly turns into a one-sided massacre, and with the loss of the gods to counteract it, Abbott is an invincible presence on the battlefield!
