Chapter 2 The Descend of the golden Sky

Kyle walked strait for some time until the sun began setting he discovered a Demon and to sneak around it.

"How can be her a Demon in the Demonic Forest Should only live at most some lesser Demons. I Really some bad luck!" When his thought were suddenly disturbed by a loud Crack, he began to quickly run away as the Demon noticed him.

"Kann it even get worse than this!" Kyle screamed inside of himself.

Already at the first time while running away from the Demon he understood that the Demon was Playing with him after he appeared in the left side of his field of sight, but he continued to run and turned away from the Demon each time he appeared in his sight.

Kyle being continuously chased until the sun was just about to set he was already riddled with injuries caused by the demons attacks from time to time coming from all sides. He didn't noticed that he was slowly driven up a hill by the Demon and when reaching the top he lost all hope to somehow come out of this life, after seeing there was only a slope with a cliff right below.

 As Kyle came to a stop, tears began to run down his face while looking into the distance, when he saw the road lights of the street leading to his home to which he will never return.

The Demon seeing that its toy didn't run anymore, launched an attack without hesitation in such a speed surpassing even the old Olympic top speed by far, shattering his legs and pierced trough his chest, causing him to vomit blood and losing all senses. Making him unable to perceive the sky being suddenly illuminated by a golden light, causing the demon to flee in fear as its skin began burning away, leaving Kyle lying on the edge of the cliff, being on the brink of death.

Some last Weak thoughts echoed through Kyle mind, fighting against the seductive voice of death. "You can finally let go and you are free from this dark World, where everyone looks down on those like you."

Wanting to give in to the soothing voice of death, the crying faces of his over his death mourning parents and friends appeared in front of his eyes and giving him back the determination to survive and see his Family again.

"No. I can't give up just jet! if i die here my parents will cry and my friend's will suffer more under bullying once I'm not there anymore as there main target."

"And what can someone at the brink of death even do, especially someone who will never be strong no matter what he does? Your parents will never even find out, that it was your sister who did this and will still love her like before and can be proud of her future achievement's, while for your friends nothing will really change without you."

"Shut up! Even while being weak i can support them with all my might to keep them happy and protect them with everything I have !" Kyle shouted from deep within the darkness spreading in his mind the closer he came to death with regained determination at the voice hidden in there, before the Darkness in his mind was pushed away by a bright golden light.

 The edge he was on, suddenly broke of causing him to fall into the depts, but unwilling to die, as if the time was slowing down he felt as his back was split in half he lost conscious while his body kept moving, he missed the sight of all the golden light in the sky gathering into his body.

And a snow with pear of wings grew out from his back before the time began to flow normal again, allowing him to glide away with his pear of wings that had appeared on his body.

After gliding for some time the unconscious Kyle collided with an tree and fell on the street crushing his left arm under his own weight in the process without an reaction, before he stood up and limped like a zombie towards the direction of his home, while the wings on his back slowly began to retract into his body.

Not too far someone stood in front of the Brocken front door of his home talking with Kyles Father. 

"I'm truly sorry general Light, but we were unable to find your son and can't continue with our search as the Demon got on a rampage after the appearance of the golden light, having already caused two casualties in our troops."

"Is there really no way to find him for your troop?" Asked he with an hearth broken voice.

"I'm sorry sir there is nothing we can do without endangering our own life." The Hunter turned around feeling something approaching from the distance and reaching to the hilt of his sword before calling into the night. 

"WHO IS THERE, REAVEAL YOURSELF!"

Prepared to launch an attack the Hunter was suddenly thrown aside from the outside rushing Charles towards the slowly out of the shadows emerging and heavily injured Kyle, deeply worried of Kyles wellbeing.

And as Kyle Father got close to Kyle, the last bit of strengh left the unconscious Kyles body and dropped to the floor, but was caught before his upper body touched the ground caught by his father.

Kyles Father quickly brought him inside, after quickly inspecting the wounds and placed him on the couch, where he was quickly surrounded by everyone in the house. Luckily the Hunter who had come had a healing ability and quickly began with some first aid, until he shook his head after a few minutes of attempted healing.

"I'm unable to do anything, his body is completely rejecting my ability. I was only able to apply an external cover for the wound to stop him from bleeding out, but even with this his life will still be on the line and we can only let him recover in his sleep."

After an unknown amount of time Kyle began to notice parts of conversations happening around him.

"In the last two month your son recovered completely against all odds, without any ability being applied to his serious wounds, but it looks like he is an comatose sleep and we don't know if he will awake from it after his body poured most likely all its energy in its recovery and deprived the brain of its energy to recover without even leaving a scar."

"Luis I'm sure Kyle will wake up again, because I know how strong he is."

Not even able to recognize the voices he was still shocked by the amount of time he is already unconscious and the amount of people going in and out of his room, before his conscience returned back into silence.

A few days later Kyle was finally awoken by the morning sun shining on to him through the window, his upper body shot up and his hands touched the place he was pierced in shock.

"It really healed, but why do I have no memories from after my stomach was pierced and the only memories are being the voices speaking, while I was asleep."

Suddenly Kyles thought where disturbed by his stomach loudly demanding for food, he carefully pushed his blanket aside and walked to his wardrobe only to find his clothes became too tight, that he needed to grab some of his Fathers old ones that were stored in a chest at the bottom of his wardrobe, he took a pear of pants and a shirt and quickly put them on.

Still a bit weakened from his long sleep, he walked slowly down the stairs and into the kitchen where he was discovered by his mother who dropped her plate in surprise from discovering him in the door frame she jumped over the shards and pulled him in a blink of the eye into a big hug and began to cry.

 "I'm sorry Kyle, we should have took your words to hearth and look more into the changes of you sister. We let someone investigate and it was found out by the investigator, that her teacher has the ability to manipulate people with and is wanted as the leader of a group specialized in killing people without ability's. And he found out someone investigated him and disappeared with his disciples your sisters included. It's all our fault."

"No mom it isn't your fault, no one could have expected something like this to happen."

After calming his mother down, she began preparing some food for him.

Kyle ate the food his mother made in record time and drank some water and spat it out as he checked his level as usual, making him cough like crazy.

His mother quickly asked him if he was ok.

He quickly told her that he just chocked on the water and was fine. He quickly finishing the breakfast and told his mother, that he still felt a bit weak and is going to lie down again. 

Walking slowly up the stairs to not awake any suspicion he swiftly entered his Room.

Back on his bed he checked his Level again.

"Let me look again."

"Level 1 it really says Level 1 not 0."

Still shocked from the discovery of becoming level 1 he continued to look at his status

"All my stats reached 1 point and mana even 2 points and what's this. Race: Angel, how can i be an angel I'm clearly human and what is with these abilities, just what happened after the Demon put a hole through me!" 

For almost an hour to many thought gone through his head before he was stopped at one by the sound of there front door being closed and a car driving away.

"And if I'm and angel where are my wings?"

Just as he finished the thought a pair of wings shot out of his back, throwing everything down from his nightstand.

The moment his wings entered his vision, he was mesmerized by their look, before he carefully begun to ran his hands over his feathers.

Each feather looking like a masterpiece of creation, while being so soft like nothing he ever touched before, while being extremely durable at the same time.

Kyle stepped in front of his mirror to get a better look at himself, he noticed the changes on his body. Not only did he grow taller, his stature also become wider that he felt that as long he starts to train and build up some mussels, he could become a top beauty, while His wings would once revealed highlight his physique even more.

 He also noticed that his wings where able to freely move without interacting with his shirt as if it's not even there and didn't leave any holes after retracting his wings with just his thoughts.

Over the next few hour Kyle begun to study his ability's one after another.

First holy light, he only found out its a golden light, but not what it does. Next he tried the holy fire, it's a golden flame which is several time hotter than a normal flame, but he could only summon a ball around the size of an soccer ball. He could only summon one with his amount of mana, but when he doesn't shoot or disperse the flame he can cover his fist in them ore just keep it as a ball he can continue to sustain it for around 5 minutes with the rest of his mana.

After trying out the two ability's, he let his mana recover until it was full again. He was really surprised by the speed of his recovery, which is probably caused by his quick recovery ability.

Thirdly he activated his Armor manifestation and looked at it in the mirror, he quickly decided against using it in front of others as it looked Exactly like those you find angel wearing in old pictures as he would probably be captured once it was revealed him being an angel and not by demons, but humans big powers trying to replicate his transformation by experimenting on him to become humanity's supreme rulers instead of fighting demons.

Next was his sword manifestation, by using it a Withe sword with golden marks all over formed in his right hand. As he couldn't remember any pictures, drawing or recordings of any sword connected to angels that he doesn't need to hide it like the armor.

His last ability Burst strike allowed him to use his strengh more controlled and increase it power output by 50 percent by using it. And even in many attempts he couldn't find out what the last one called order did, but even after hours of trying nothing came out of it.

 When he heard the front door open he quickly laid down and covered himself with his blanked and closed his eyes as if he was sleeping, he heard someone coming upstairs. After the persons reached upstairs they entered his room and sad down and began talking next to the bed.

Recognizing them as his friend Lisa and Luis he decided to play a small prank, he jumped up any yelled "boo!" to scare his friends.

Lisa startled by Kyle instinctively punched out hitting him in the face, before realizing he woke up she jumped with tears in her eyes to Kyle and hugged him. "How can you prank us like this, first we thought you die because healing ability's didn't work and even later when you did heal we thought you might not wake up and when you did you just prank us!"

Feeling bad Kyle returned the hug and tried calming her down "Everything is ok now, I'm awake now and sorry for just now."

After Lisa calmed down Luis asked him what exactly happened on that day.

Kyle began to detailed explain what happened after they split up on their way home naturally letting out the Angel stuff.

"And what happened after the demon stabbed you through the stomach you completely let out how you got back?"

"Thats the Problem, i don't remember what happened after that point. I only know that I'm now level one and i even got multiple ability's." Answered Kyle on Luis question cousin the sibling to call out in disbelief.

"What, how is this possible!? Everyone knows a level 0 can't level up no matter what?"

"You two are asking the wrong person how would i know, i just woke up to it being like this."

As the two calmed down, they began asking about Kyles ability's.

While the sibling watched, Kyle demonstrate and explained his ability's, being Holy light, Holy fire, sword manifestation, Burst strike and lastly quick recovery.

After being shown Lisa and Luis looked at Kyle with total disbelief. "with these ability's you will definitely overtake our level 7 and when this happen i hope you will help us to raise our level." said Luis after Kyle finished explaining

"This is self-explanatory that i will help you two once i become stronger, you two are my best friends."

"Kyle you need to remember that you need to take it slowly, before you do anything. so don't overdo it in the next 2 month, the doctor said you should stay home to make sure there is no Aftermath of the Demon Abilities on your body or mind. And sorry that we can't keep you company for these two months, because we are with the school at the exchange competition between some of the close by schools."

Being disappointed that he could go with them he told them goodbye and good luck, when they were about to leave.

As he didn't think about anything he could do so, so he went to sleep early.

As Kyle woke up he dressed up and went downstairs and instead of finding his parents there was only a note lying on top of the kitchen table, telling Kyle that his parents left after receiving a message that his sister was caught in another City after attacking a guard without an ability, so they went there to bring her back.

Kyle knew that they would try to undo the mind control, once they got her back. But everyone knows that once mind control was applied for too long making the change irreversible and ten years are definitively too long to turn her back.

And he himself long gave up, that his sister returns to her former kind self, so he wasn't as sad from hearing that she was mind controlled.

Just having finished his thought, something popped up in front of him.

As kylie read trough he was sure that he could receive a quest before reaching level 50 has something to do with his angel transformation as the quest was related to it, but he never heard about quests having a penalty or a time limit and usually are about the advancement of ability's or skills reaching a certain level, but the exact level where this happens are not told like many other important things about strengh to people below level 40, to prevent certain Information being found out by demons trough capturing weaker Students or hunter.

So he just decided to not think too much about it and quickly got out in the backyard and began to Start with the physic part of the quest as it is easier for the mind to work with mana once the body is exhausted. So he began with running around the pond his parents build a few years back and finished his run in 9 minutes bevor continued with pushups, squats and sit ups leaving him heavy breathing and sweating, while doing the last ten sit ups. "90. 91. 92. 93. 94. 95. 96. 97. 98. 99 and 100."

looking at the mana part of the quest and wondered how he should start with mana gathering, as he only knows it's possible to gather mana in the body with certain Techniques to increase mana capacity but are only used rarely as they decrease mana purity which decides the manas strengh, graded as black with 0%increase, dark red 5% , orange 25%, yellow 50%, gray 75%, white 100% and strongest known with an increase of 200% silver which don't appears often, while orange and below are the average in humans. And he didn't want to begin with the rest as he never heard of the other two.

So Kyle jumped to the boulder sitting in the middle of the pond and sat down cross legged and began to meditate hoping to archive anything without a technique, beginning with trying to perceive the surrounding mana.

After meditating for 2 hour almost giving up he finally began sensing the mana particles around him, he tried to grab the particle closest to him but his hand just went right through it, so he tried again and again bevor thinking how stupid he is after remembering that Ambient mana can only be affected by other kinds of mana and tried again by releasing his own mana black in color and grabbed the mana particles with it in his surrounding, pulling the particle into his body, where it fused in a dark cloud of mana in his body, he realized his blank ability core disappeared. Still happy that it still somehow worked without the core, he excitedly continued until the hour was over and his mana stat increased to 4.

Thinking about how he could start the mana purification, a hint appeared on his status screen telling him to use his holy flame to burn the impurity's in his mana. 

Returning to his Meditation and began controlling his mana to gather at one place in his body and summoned his holy flame causing the mana to transform, causing the created flame to suck in and pushing it out again with each time slightly decreasing his manas volume.

Continued on repeat until the hour was over, he began noticing that from the mana which entered the flame released some kind of black smoke which dispersed into his body and traces of red began appearing in his mana.

Feeling a slight mental strain Kyle relaxed for some time, before checking the new hint that had appeared after he finished.

All creatures possess mana veins, but angel are different they do not possess a separate mana vain system and instead each blood vessel in their body takes the role of mana vain allowing a much finer control over mana, but needs to be purified by a holy flame to properly let the mana flow.

Reading the hint Kyle was sure his holy fire must be something special if it's something needed by angel.

 As he began to sense into his blood vessels, he discovered the black smoke previously released by his mana was slowly solidifying, but the solidified amount was not right as it was enough to almost completely clog his blood vessels, he quickly lit his holy fire, while thanking his transformation to heighten his senses to find out about it that his body was slowly dying trough the Increasing impurity gathering in his body.

Quickly letting the flame enter his bloodstream, it slowly began to burn the impurities away and push them out of his body, but the more they were burnt away the slower it got as the impurities where extremely condensed in the deeper layers and even after the hour was over was still tons of it left, but his body already felt lighter and stronger and he could breathe easier than before.

Kyle received right after the notification over the completion of the quest, before his body was taken over by immense pain, causing him to lose conscious. when he woke up almost 4 hours have gone by and he was cover in a bad smelling mucus which slowly came oozing out from his skin and dripped into the pond, where the fish already floated dead on the surface.

"Fuck, Mom is going to kill me! She loved her pond and the fishes." 

It already being late Kyle decided to wash up in the pond to get the goo of, before going inside and using all kinds of Shampoos until the smell disappeared from his bodyhe went to bed as he was too exhausted to do anything else.

The next morning Kyle finally looked in his status after forgetting it the last night, because how exhausted he was.

His stats increased after some of the impurities, where purged from his body and even if his mana stat stayed the same he clearly felt it having become stronger and even a new stat showcasing his increased mental strengh from going through immense pain multiple times, he also didn't oversaw the new quest right below his Information.

[Thanks through the purification and tempering of the mana veins of the young angels body, its collapse was barely avoided, but that's not permanent and the transformation needs to be finished for the young Angel to be save.]

Even seeing the increase in difficulty of the quest, he was sure he would do it without much difficulty as his stats greatly increased, but he was shown to be wrong after being close to collapsing again after finishing the physical part. " hahaha, my physical stats increased, but because my low control over my physical abilities, i consume to much strengh in each movement. It looks like the quest are made to bring me to the brink of collapse to finish them."

He began with the mana part on top of the rock in the pond again.

With his experience from the last day he was able to do everything much more efficient, even allowing his mana to become completely dark Red and when he finally began with mana vain tempering he easily Destroyed the new layer made from the impurities from his mana, through spitting his flame which grew after his mana turned completely dark red in multiple smaller flames and let them circulate independent in his system clearing that layer in almost an instant and began to work on the next layers he began feeling pain all over his body, but he wasn't disturbed by it thanks to his mind stat and only reached a level where it was almost unbearable in the last few minutes.

After the quest was complete the transformation began again, but this time Kyle stayed conscious, feeling his body being ripped apart and recovering in an instant while his body became slightly stronger each time.

Finally after 10 minutes of suffering he fell heavy breathing on his knees and checked his status.
