55. Scouting Mission

"We must let go of the life we have planned, to accept the one that is waiting for us." — Joseph Campbell

After riding for around 30 minutes, Paul led the two women through a small valley before coming across a large forest of what looked like super-large pine trees.

As they gazed upon the awe-inspiring sight of trees reaching a couple of hundred feet tall, a sense of wonder and amazement filled the hearts of those witnessing it for the first time.

"This is the boundary to the Whispering Pines Forest, where we need to scout for the mission we picked up. On the map, we can see we have to travel a short distance inside, where there is a small hill, and then we can complete the mission."

Following along with Paul the duo continued into the wooded area on horseback, the large trees leaving enough space to ride as long as one was mindful of the monumental roots.

Slightly behind him, Irene was talking to Holly.
