114. Wager Time

"The true hypocrite is the one who ceases to perceive his deception, the one who lies with sincerity." — André Gide

Back in the Luminescent Haven, Paul's party was in a private room, eating delicious food while watching the tournament end.

"That ending was pretty anti-climactic; why would that guy even swap to ranged if he sucks at it so much?"

Hearing Holly's question, Irene spoke with a smile.

"He probably was desperate and wanted to try something new; that Toss Up woman was much better than him anyway. That old guy only got so far by being cunning that he could not overcome such a large gap."

On the other hand, Aria was lounging on a comfortable chair with a satisfied look.

"I didn't realize that you could rent private dining rooms here; this place is amazing."

As an employee who often worked relentlessly, she appreciated the break to relax and enjoy good food in private much more than everyone else.
