First day in college.

Rushing downstairs, " Good morning mum" jack greeted. Hugging his mum, he headed for the door.

" Won't you at least have breakfast?" Aunt Julie asked.

Opening the door "don't worry mum I'll eat at the café and besides I am late." As if something dawned to him, he looked at his watch, "Damn!" He exclaimed

Just don't...

But before she could finish her sentence, the door slams closed.

"I love you mum" Jack shouted before dashing out of the house with his skate board.

Aunty Julie just stood there in daze and slowly whispered " I love you too honey".

Jackson Tyler a 19 years old boy newly admitted student in 'Evarna college'. After losing his parent in a car accident at a very tender age, he was taken in and raised by his eldest Aunt in Dexen city. She always treats him well and shower him love he never got from his parent.

His lime green eyes, well-built and developed muscles, glossy skin and radiant nature made him look handsome and stunning.

EVARNA COLLEGE.

He rode his Skate board through the hall way leading to his class room, a lot of thoughts going through his head about his lateness. Well he knew he was the shy type and can't handle the whole class staring at him being scolded by the teacher for his lateness.

He stopped when he reached half way to the classroom, picked up his skate board then takes a deep breath " Hope I am not too late" he murmured before walking into the classroom.

In class...

He exhales " thank goodness there's no teacher in class" he said to himself, before walking to the seat behind.

About three minutes later, A man in his mid-forties carrying a briefcase, walks into the classroom.

"Good morning class" the man greeted

" Good morning, sir" everyone responded.

He places his briefcase on the table in front of the class, "ok, welcome to Evarna College, Dexen city, my name is Mr. Anderson, and I will be taking you guys on AP Biology" he introduced himself.

Looks at his watch " sorry for the inconvenience, it's already fifteen minutes past the due time and I promise not to delay, it will be brief" Mr. Anderson apologized. He brings out a notebook from his briefcase, " Please, everyone, bring out your textbook, and open to page 76" ....

Jack searched his bags and widened his eyes in shock as if realizing something, " fuck, I forgot my book"

As if hearing what jack said "if you don't have, you can pair with someone" Mr. Anderson continued.

Looking round the classroom and seeing how everyone were busy with their textbooks, Jack sighed in a frustrating manner "man I just look like a coward" he said inwardly to himself.

He stood up and walked to the third seat. "Hey" jack calls to one of the girls" can I um. pair with you? I uh...u- m I forgot. my um... " he stuttered.

Knowing what he was about to say "sure" she replied to him. Extending the book to him as jack sat beside her.

Bell rings…

"Alright class, that will be all for today see you next week" Mr. Anderson said before leaving the classroom.

"Thanks by the way" jack said extending his hand towards her "I am Jackson Tyler"

Taking his hand "Rose... Rose Luther, nice to meet you" rose said shaking his hand.

'Me too' jack replied

Looking round the classroom, everyone seems to be leaving

"Seems we have a free period now" Jack asked

"Yeah, we have only two classes today" Rose explains

Jack sighs In relief "finally", he looks at who now had a puzzled look, "uhm , ... I mean, I didn't have breakfast before coming, and I'm really famished, so I'm heading for the café" he tried to explain, pointing his hand towards the door in a demonstrative manner "... You can join me if u want "

Rose smiled "oh sure, but I've got something to do, sorry." She declined politely while packing her books in her bag.

"It is fine" he stood up and headed for the café

Walking down the alley leading to the café

"Hey pal" someone tapped his shoulder.

Finding the voice familiar jack spun and widened his eyes in shock as he saw who it was " Sam?! " He exclaimed and hugged him

" Yo, it's been a while Sam " withdrawing from the hug, they duo did their buddies hand shake.

Jack and Sam have been friends since childhood, both happened to attend the same high school and the became best buds. But Sam moved out from Dexen city, who knew they would meet in college.

Looking at jack for a long time, " I see you don't wear your glasses any longer " Sam teased him.

Shaking his head in disagreement " No, still the same old Sam, nothing new " jack smiled at his teasing.

Both chatted for a while, before Jack went on to the café to eat.
