Mom was receiving a call from her cousin named Gio, so only Zinia and I had breakfast first. As for Agha, he was too lazy to eat breakfast and just sat back while drinking tea and started looking for a work from home job. After all, he was a man so he would still look for a job and work even though his condition had not recovered.
"Naya, later you will participate in a charity event held by Uncle Gio's garment company," Mom said, making me stop feeding mung bean porridge to my mouth.
"I can't, Mom," I refused while pouting.
"Mom already said that you can sing and uncle Gio asked you to participate. This is a good thing. So Mom said yes." Mom always makes decisions without discussing it with me first.
I sighed in disappointment, "It's a big event and I'm afraid to ruin it with my voice."
"You always think too much and don't do anything," Mom scolded me while eating the porridge.
