Kieran's point of view (POV): When I was a teenager, I never expected much from life. Being the daughter of a United States Marine meant moving around the world frequently. One moment we were in Seattle, Washington, and the next we were by the lake Stephens Lake near Columbia, Missouri. My life took a different turn when an unfamiliar virus appeared during my third year in Missouri. This happened after my dad was transferred to Missouri to work at Fort Leonard Wood. As a result of the virus, everything shifted. People who fell ill began exhibiting uncivilized and harsh behavior towards healthy individuals in the city. Those who caught the virus were the infected individuals who not only began showing uncivilized and harsh behavior towards the non-infected, but also started brutally attacking and mutilating their victims. Hi, Kieran Enoya Callaway. Join me on a journey through my perspective as my life drastically changed in just 30 days during the unexpected events leading to the downfall of humanity.
