It’s been two days since my and Danielle’s tense moment. Now, I’m in town gathering the supplies we need to get through this mess. Sarge is with me, carrying his pistol to keep both of us safe. We’re ready in case we run into them again.

Sarge and I went to the nearest Walmart and grabbed all the supplies we could find. We also hit up Sam's Club to stock up on our usual things. Now, we feel prepared for life, with enough food and essentials to last us a long time. At 17, you don’t usually think much about life. You just live it. But right now, everything around us feels like it’s falling apart. This time, humanity is never going to be the same again.
