The Clash of Shadows

(Scene): The next morning, tension filled the air across the university. Security was heightened, with plainclothes officers stationed discreetly around campus. Students moved through their routines, unaware of the imminent threat looming over them. Rio and his friends, however, were anything but at ease. They had spent the previous night preparing, devising plans and contingencies, knowing that every second mattered.

(Rio, scanning the campus from his vantage point near the main building): "Keep an eye on the north entrance. They’ll want a way in that’s less visible."

(Erica, her voice steady despite the tension): "I’ve got it covered. Kaori and Ryuu are positioned by the east exit. We’re ready."

The plan was simple but effective. The team had divided the campus into zones, each one covered by a pair from the task force. With a strong police presence on standby, they hoped to prevent any harm from reaching the students or faculty.
