With the doctor regaining his health, we resumed our march to find a safe place where we could live. During our journey, we stumbled upon a massive building that seemed suitable for residence. We entered the building, but to our surprise, it was so vast that we seemed to be walking endlessly inside, unable to find its outer gate. After a while, we decided that we should abandon the building and head back.
As we were preparing to leave, a heavy and ominous sound echoed through the building. Sarah, being curious, went ahead to investigate. We followed the sound and ended up in a large chamber that looked like no human had ever lived there. Suddenly, the source of the sound revealed itself – a gigantic snake emerged from a nearby corridor.
We were petrified, realizing we had no place to hide from the enormous creature. However, Sarah came up with an idea – she suggested we climb to a high place where the snake wouldn't be able to reach us. We scrambled up a platform or ledge within the chamber, and the snake, furious at being unable to get to us, struck its head against the wall in frustration.
In the midst of the chaos, Sarah lost her balance and fell directly onto the back of the big snake. Acting instinctively, she tightly grasped the snake's neck, preventing it from biting her. But this new situation left us in a quandary, and I couldn't bear to leave Sarah alone in her perilous position. Without thinking, I leaped forward and positioned myself behind her on the snake's back. The doctor followed suit, and the three of us were now sitting atop the massive serpent like daring riders.
The snake was taken aback by this unexpected turn of events. It tried its best to free itself from Sarah's firm grip, but failing to do so, it decided to move backward, dragging Sarah along. With the snake in motion, I had to cling tightly to maintain my balance and prevent us from being thrown off.
Amazingly, the snake ran towards the outside of the building. We were now riding this formidable creature like it was a horse, an experience none of us could have ever imagined. The snake led us through unfamiliar areas until it eventually squeezed through a small hole in the wall. The hole was so narrow that we all tumbled down as we made our exit.
Cautiously, we got back on our feet and looked around. Although we were concerned that the snake might come back for us, there was no sign of it. It appeared that our unexpected and daring move had scared the snake away. This was our chance to escape from this place and continue our journey to find a safer haven.
