Tatsuya enjoyed the feeling of her soft face on his cock. He pulled his pants down and let his cock flop onto her face.
Mittelt froze in shock as the cock sat on her face.
To her horror, his cock was twice the height of her face.
What kind of monster is this?
She cried inwardly as she trembled. Even the biggest dick she had experienced a few decades ago was only 9 inches. This cock in front of her was at least 12 inches.
This was NOT going to fit inside her 4'11 frame.
"Why are you staring at it? Get to work if you don't want to die." Tatsuya spat coldly and Mittelt shivered.
"Yes!" She used her hands to grab his monstrous cock and placed her soft lips on the cockhead. She gave it a few gentle kisses while jerking
She had to do her best. She had to give it her everything.
He was still human, right? If she could have him cum twice or thrice with just her hands and mouth she could potentially save herself from being torn open.
I will not take that inside me! She thought nervously, she began to breathe down heavily on his cock, stimulating it.
"Mmm. Your hands are so soft, little crow. You know what you're doing huh..." Tatsuya groaned at the feeling of her hands gently worshipping his cock.
The feeling of having a Fallen Angel sloppily stroke and give little kisses to his cock was quite pleasurable. He couldn't help but think how good the actual Angels would be.
Especially Gabriel.
Tatsuya's cock became even harder.
"Huh?" Mittelt muttered, seeing the pre-cum that dripped from the head. Strike the iron while it's hot, I can't miss this chance! She opened her maw wide enough to take his cock in. Plunging herself on his member, she managed to take all the cock-meat, thanking God for what she was because she most likely wouldn't be able to take him as a human.
"Oh wow!" Tatsuya couldn't help but admire her resolve as he felt his slave's tongue lick all around his purple cock-head while making soft slurping sounds, enticing him more.
"Good, just like that. I'll make sure to unload all my seed into your stomach." He promised, beginning to thrust his twitching pre-cum soaking cock into her mouth.
While shocked a little, she soon accepted the harsh pumping and slowly brought her hands around his legs.
It's so hot! My mind is going numb. She desperately ran her long tongue up and down the sides of his veiny tool.
Caught off guard, Mittelt could only gurgle around the thundering member fucking her throat so intensely.
He's finally about to cum!
The Fallen Angel thought in ecstasy as the twitching rod in her mouth began to swell. With her experience, she gently gnawed on the sensitive head.
Eyes widening, Tatsuya grunted loudly. This was a first for him.
He pulled her head so she was face down into his flesh and let all the stored-up jizz spray her throat and coat her stomach. Several large ropes of cum filled her mouth to the brim, making Mittelt's eyes widen at the monstrous amount of man milk. It came out so powerfully, she couldn't contain it all and it escaped her lips, staining her milky skin in white.
Needing air, Mittelt left Tatsuya's rock-hard cock, only to be pushed back inside. Mittelt whimpered and punched his thigh only for Tatsuya to chuckle and apply more force. Mittelt felt pain spread all over her body as his large cock threatened to penetrate her stomach.
Her throat bulged as if she had swallowed a rugby ball and if that wasn't enough then Tatsuya wrapped his hand around her head and with his other hand began to punch her head, bashing her as much as he could.
He did not care about her at all!
The worst of it all was that Tatsuya's cock was still shooting out cum! Mittelt was frightened as she felt her stomach become full of cum and there was no sign of him stopping.
Her belly bulged and only when she began to feel she was about to vomit did Tatsuya stop.
Mittelt hurriedly pulled back and began to cough loudly, grabbing her own throat. Tears streamed down her face making her appearance even more pitiful. The fact she had the body of a child made things even more despicable.
But Tatsuya cared not.
There were very few things that could cause emotional disgust to an individual who sexually manipulated his own mother.
"If I see even a single drop on the floor I'll kill you!" The killing intent in his eyes made Mittelt shiver as she clamped her own mouth shut.
She sobbed and cried.
'Raynare where are you...'
"Enough crying, time to fuck that tight little pussy of yours. I wonder how different a Fallen Angel's pussy is to a human's." All of a sudden Tatsuya turned around and stared at Ichika, startling her.
"Yeah-?" Looking at the maniacal girl with a blush on her face, Tatsuya deadpanned. "You'll get your serving later, go bring some salt from the kitchen."
"Salt?" Ichika's eyes widened as she looked at Tatsuya with subtle eyes. She ignored the horrified look of the Fallen Angel and went to the kitchen.
She brought the sprinkler and gave it to Tatsuya.
"Good girl." He patted her head and Ichika acted pleased as she rubbed her head against his palm.
Tatsuya turned to Mittelt again and grabbed her by the leg.
*Boom!*
He flung her over and smashed her on the ground.
All the bones that had somewhat healed cracked again as Mittelt gasped in pain. Her mind became numb as her body trembled.
"Bring your wings out." Tatsuya snorted without any remorse.
Mittelt didn't respond, crying from pain. Her eardrums were nearly shattered and her vision was no longer clear.
"Bring your wings out!" Tatsuya grabbed her by the hair and brought his lips to her ear before throwing her back onto the floor.
Mittelt continued to sob as she slowly picked herself up, her beautiful feathered wings appeared in the room and Tatsuya admired them. Her face was a mess, her body was broken and bruised and her pretty blonde hair was scattered messily.
Tatsuya pushed her onto her stomach before mounting her. He lined his cock to her pussy and thrust himself in one go! With both hands, he grasped the base of her wings and began to ruthlessly fuck her like a play doll.
Like a pocket cocksleeve, Mittelt was forced to endure the stretching of her pussy walls. Not to mention each thrust hit hard against her womb causing waves of pain to shoot through her body.
The sound of her whimpering and crying, Tatsuya's groans and the sound of smacking flesh created a symphony of music in the room.
But that wasn't all.
Numerous bloody tentacles erupted from Tatsuya's back.
Mittelt's face turned ugly she noticed the tentacles were shaped like sharp blades. She gritted her teeth in despair.
He caused them to rise and cut at her body leaving small cuts across her naked body. Thin rivers of blood dripped down her body and back. She clenched her tight pussy in pain as he reached down and choked her.
Tatsuya continued to pound Mittelt hard. He made the bloody tentacles strike her tits, leaving cuts on them before reaching one hand down and squeezing her breast hard, getting a pained moan from her. He could see her starting to lose consciousness.
"Hmph!"
Tatsuya snorted.
He lifted his hand grabbed the sprinkler and began spraying salt all over her body. He wasn't just sprinkling salt, he was dumping as much as he could.
"ΑΑΑΑΗΗΗΗHHHHHHH! STOP PLEASE STOP!!!"
When you have an open wound it exposes the nerves to direct contact. Salt is what your nerves use to function so when you put salt on a wound it artificially triggers these nerves. It triggers all of them so the message to your brain is effectively asking-"What the fuck is going on!?"
The response your brain has in such a situation is to default to pain - A random tidbit from Ayanokoji's memories.
Now imagine having hundreds of wounds with all hundreds of wounds being exposed to a large amount of salt... Hahaha.
Mittelt shrieked like a dying animal. Her howls were like music to his ears as his raging heart was slowly soothed.
He thrust to the hilt and came deep inside her. Pulling out he dragged her back to her knees and pushed her down, face down ass up. With no hesitation, he slammed his hard cock into her ass grabbing her head and angling it so that she could see Ichika's face, the one she tried to kill, as he ruined her ass.
Ichika had a furious blush on her face.
He ruthlessly pounded her ass and she started to quietly cry out in pain as he filled her ass with his seed.
Pulling out he pushed her onto her back, admiring his handiwork as his cum began dripping from all three of her holes along with blood from the countless light cuts.
But if that wasn't enough he shoved his cock back inside her.
Tatsuya was mad.
He was genuinely angry.
Had he not marked Ichika out of caution she would've died ruining all his plans!
This bitch almost ruined all his plans!
Even Tatsuya hadn't expected Ichika to get targeted so randomly.
He wasn't going to let her off!
****
Looking at the battered Fallen Angel with cuts all over her body Tatsuya grinned.
His sadistic smile sent a shiver down both Ichika and Mittelt's spines.
Tatsuya's cock began to enlarge, growing inside her tight little pussy. Mittelt felt dread creeping all over her body and soul as she cried and pleaded.
But her sorrow went unheard as Tatsuya began to wrap his hand around her neck. Her neck was so thin that his fingers overlapped with each other.
"Enjoy it. Try to enjoy it. I'm doing this for your own sake, my cute little doll". Tatsuya spoke gently as if his rough piston movements weren't destroying her entire body.
"I'm... sorry, please... Azazel save me... someone... save me... *hic* *hic* *hic*." Mittelt whimpered. She so desperately hoped for God above to forgive her. To save her from this evil entity.
The real monsters weren't the Devils.
Not the Yokai.
Not the Fallen Angels.
Not the Dragons.
It was him.
She wanted to be saved. To not have to become a sex slave for eternity. To not be tortured repeatedly.
Large amounts of cum began pouring inside her pussy as his movements stopped. Her pussy acted as a sheath for his sword.
Unexpectedly, Mittelt felt the grip on her neck slowly tighten.
"...I'll save you."
A gentle soothing voice echoed in the room. The softness in the voice could be compared to the choir of the angels.
*Crunch!*
Pure and divine.
Mittelt felt her body become lighter. It was as if the burdens on her being had been liberated. As if her sins had been forgiven.
She felt lost.
Undoubtedly confused.
Mittelt felt her vision blur as she was lifted but there was something strange. The soft sound of dripping liquid entered her ears. She lowered her eyes and from her peripheral vision, she saw her decapitated body.
It laid on the table serenely and peacefully.
And... Mittelt understood.
A sense of loss gripped her heart.
If I were given another chance... I would've never left your embrace, Father.
She died, the light from her eyes slowly dissipating.
****
Tatsuya's cold eyes disregarded the abused body.
A pure white glove with a red magical symbol materialised on his left hand.
*Click!*
He snapped his fingers and a wave of raging flames engulfed the deceased Fallen Angel's body. The flames faded and so did the corpse.
Tatsuya cast [Clean] and materialised a set of clothes. The only impurity that remained was the dripping blood from the decapitated head.
But that was fine.
With pure brute force, he had crushed all the nerves and bones in her neck before twisting her head off. Otherwise, her spine would've been pulled out together.
Tatsuya lowered the head and gently placed it on the table, letting the blood drain on its own. He sat down on the sofa and gestured for Ichika to come sit beside him.
Ichika obeyed and sat down silently, her gaze unfocused on the disembodied head.
Tatsuya glanced at her, noticing her pale face.
"Is something wrong?" His face morphed into an expression of care and Ichika pulled her attention back. She controlled her body, forcibly relaxing and smiled sweetly at Tatsuya.
"Not really, just wondering why you killed her. She might've been useful alive." She voiced her doubt, hiding her real question.
"She shouldn't have tried touching what's mine." Tatsuya chuckled and spoke lightly, "Don't worry, I won't let anyone besides me even touch a single strand of your hair."
The weight of his words sunk in as she glanced at the disembodied head with blood slowly flowing out.
"Aww, Onii-Chan, was it for me?" Ichika's smile widened as her thoughts churned.
It's not others I'm afraid of... Tatsuya... You are what scares me the most.
Ichika had been educated since birth strictly. Her knowledge database was far from what a high schooler should possess. Her generation, the 5th Generation, was in fact specialised in human interaction and psychology.
He's way too unpredictable,
Sometimes he's cold.
Sometimes he's playful.
Sometimes he's maniacal.
Sometimes he's psychopathic.
Sometimes he's kind.
Just where exactly did his heart lie?
All humans had a base personality, a set of rules they abided by.
But what concerned Ichika was that Tatsuya belonged to one of the most disturbing categories. The specific group of humans who believed themselves to be human.
They consider themselves free from rules and pride themselves on their actions. They think they're normal and not much different than others, simply more bold or decisive.
But no.
He was a pure sociopath bordering on psychopathy.
Such people were completely unpredictable and the only difference between the two was having emotional registers and not having them.
Of course, being sociopathic or psychopathic does not necessarily mean one has to be evil. Good-natured ones also lived peacefully among humans.
But Tatsuya...
That's why Ichika was always on the edge.
A single mistake could cost her... her life..
Ichika did not want to die.
She had lived all her life imprisoned in between four white walls and she yearned for a more normal life. One where she could simply enjoy herself.
****
Tatsuya did not respond to her and simply smiled.
He had a general understanding of Ichika's concerns but he didn't bother addressing them.
It was unnecessary.
Instead, he looked towards the door with an expectant look.
*Ring!*
The doorbell rang and Ichika narrowed her eyes, glancing at the disembodied head. Seeing no objection from Tatsuya she got up and walked towards the door.
She pulled the door open and saw five people standing outside with smiles on their faces, though three of them had particularly bitter looks in their eyes.
Ichika put on a strained smile,
Rias, Kiba, Akeno and Koneko were expected but there was another guest. She stood side by side with Rias and her hair was in a small bob cut. Her frame was petite and she wore square glasses.
"...This is?"
"She's Sona Sitri, a good friend of mine. You don't have to worry, she's only here to overlook our deal with your brother." Rias smiled and explained, taking steps inside the house before Ichika could say anything.
"Good Evening." Sona nodded politely, following Rias in.
Ichika acted startled and shouted, "Wait-!"
Unfortunately, she was a step late.
As soon as the entourage stepped inside they saw the disembodied head on the table.
Rias and her friends grimaced. They stepped back immediately and Demonic Power began gathering around them.
Koneko, Akeno and Kiba went pale seeing the lifeless head with blood dripping out of it. There was a sense of peace and detachment emanating from the head's expression which in itself was incredibly creepy and horrifying.
Rias and Sona were slightly better off. They had seen worse stuff having grown up as pure Devils.
Nonetheless, there was shock and wariness all over their faces.
Sona had become guarded while red lightning crackled around Rias as she alternated her gaze between Tatsuya and the creepy head.
"What's the meaning of this!?"
Rias hissed.
. "Calm down." Tatsuya spoke softly, "She's a Fallen Angel."
"Fallen Angel?" Rias and Sona were surprised they looked at the head more carefully and realised there were traces of holy energy around the head.
"...You still haven't answered my question". Rias understanding the situation calmed down. The dangerous Demonic energy around her dissipated though Sona remained wary.
What Rias wanted to know was why Tatsuya had left the head on the table, waiting for them, and putting on a show,
"She tried to kill Ichika." Tatsuya's voice turned frosty and a murderous aura began seeping out from him. The group of Devils felt a chill go down their spine, "You said Kuho was your territory... What's your response?"
"...." Rias was surprised, instead of answering Tatsuya she turned to Ichika and began to inquire about her safety.
"Could you please give some more details?"
It was Sona who showed more interest in the matter of the Fallen Angels.
"You are? I don't recall inviting you."
"My apologies for coming uninvited. I am Sona Sitri, a friend of Rias, and the one managing Kuoh with her." She gave a small, elegant bow, appearing much more manner-full than Rias, "I'm here to overlook your deal with Rias and act as a guarantor."
"I see." Tatsuya nodded, "There's really not much to say. Ichika was out grocery shopping and on her way back she was attacked. Luckily before anything could happen I intervened. I questioned the Fallen Angel and she told me she was here on the orders of someone called Azazel."
Hearing the name Azazel, Rias who was questioning Ichika turned around sharply.
"I'll make sure to ask about this manner. Thank you for taking care of her."
In a tacit manner, neither Rias nor Sona asked about the fight between him and the Fallen Angel.
"I suppose so." Tatsuya shook his head and Sona nodded, "Azazel is the leader of the Fallen Angels and an organisation called Grigori."
"Oh?" Tatsuya smiled, "Who's stronger, her brother or this Azazel?" He pointed towards Rias.
Before Sona could answer Rias snorted, "Hmph! He comes nowhere close to my brother."
"I see."Tatsuya nodded, ''Then let's proceed to the main discussion."
Tatsuya waved his hand gesturing for them to sit on the sofa opposite.
Koneko, Kiba and Akeno stood behind the Sofa, standing as guards while Sona and Rias sat down. Rias frowned as she waved her hand causing the head to flow away and settle at the entrance of the house.
"We'll be using this as evidence later, I'll clean up the bloodstains before we leave... Where's the rest of the body?" Rias asked but was met with a silent smile.
Instead, Tatsuya gestured towards Ichika, "Come, sit here."
Ichika nodded and sat down but to her surprise, she felt a force striking her neck. Her vision blurred as she realised she was knocked unconscious.
"Onii-chan...?" She barely whispered before her eyes closed.
Under the surprised gazes of the Devils Tatsuya gently laid her head on his lap. He stroked her hair lovingly, "We can now talk without holding back. Say your piece." Tatsuya spoke indifferently.
Rias forced the discomfort down before speaking.
"I agree to your terms. I'll let you join my peerage along with Ichika. I'll be giving you the Rook Piece which should enhance your physical attributes even more. Think of it as a multiplier ranging from anywhere to 2-8x your original strength. As for Ichika, I'll be giving her the Bishop piece, it'll support her talent in magic."
"I understand, what does being a slave entail?"
This time Rias was quick to answer, "You don't have to worry, I can't force you to do anything you don't want to do. As servants, you're expected to follow my commands but there's no forced enforcement.
There are cases where Servants kill their Masters without backlash and escape, becoming Rogue Devils. Of course, 99% of them are hunted down successfully. But that won't happen to us because I, in particular, treat my peerage as my family. I know that we had a rough start but I wish to get along with you and Ichika."
"Really?" Tatsuya smiled mischievously.
There was a pause in Rias's words as she froze.
"... No." She frowned, "I hate you. Were it not for Ichika and circumstances I would've never talked to someone like you."
"Why is that?"
"Does it need to be said? You beat your own sister who loves you so much. How can you be so cruel?" Rias finally poured out her inner feelings, "You should be ashamed of yourself!"
Tatsuya's smile disappeared as he looked at her silently.
The air in the room tensed.
*Sigh...*
"I don't abuse her. I don't know where you've gotten this information." Tatsuya showed an exasperated look.
"...What?" Rias and her peerage were stunned.
Was their biggest reason for hating him just a misunderstanding!?
"You're lying!" Akeno hissed, "The girl is clearly traumatised! Just speaking your name makes her shudder in fear! She also said you're incredibly violent and would punish her for disobeying you!"
Akeno was the one who was the most disturbed earlier thus her emotional outburst.
Tatsuya looked at her with a frown.
"I have beaten her before but it was only once and I don't regret it."
"You!" Akeno gritted her teeth but Rias raised her hand gesturing for her to calm down.
"Please explain." Rias felt her heart lighten, for some reason, she felt by the end of this conversation Tatsuya and her peerage could actually be friends. Her guilt from forcefully accepting Tatsuya into the peerage would dissipate..
"You can sense that my strength is abnormal, right?"
Rias's face darkened in shame but she nodded, clearly curious.
"Don't be curious, I won't be telling you." Tatsuya chuckled, "From an early age I've been hunting Devils and Fallen Angels, mostly the malicious ones."
There was a shift in their expressions upon hearing this but they remained silent.
"You've heard how our parents died in a car crash a few years ago, right?" Tatsuya had a sorrowful smile on his face, "Actually they were attacked by a Stray Devil. That Stray Devil... was one I showed mercy years ago."
"... Oh my god..."
A story began to concote in the Devils' mind. A gifted kind human hunting Devils and Fallen Angels in the name of justice pitied one of his targets... only for that target to return later and murder his parents out of revenge.
His transformation from a kind individual to his current cold and ruthless self could be explained seamlessly.
"After that incident, I became extremely paranoid. That guy wasn't the only individual | spared. Worried that they'd target my sister I became extremely protective, borderline obsessive." Tatsuya sighed again, "Perhaps I couldn't see her living so constrainedly I gave her more freedom. I had stopped hunting and also hadn't been attacked for some time so I thought we were safe. One day she went to a birthday party. I told her to tell me when it ends so I'll pick her up. But because she had a friend that lived nearby they walked together home."
"In the end, she was kidnapped. I eventually saved her but seeing the dead body of her kidnapper must've given her trauma. I also couldn't help but lash out knowing she disregarded my words and slapped her a few times the so-called punishment you guys are talking about. Of course, she'd be traumatised."
"... "
This...
The Devils were shocked by the sad backstory.
"You... you used Kiba as a shield!" Akeno, unwilling to come to terms with the fact she had judged someone unfairly, threw out her last retort.
Kiba himself was surprised by Akeno's burst of hostility. After all, he felt no grudge towards Tatsuya simply because Tatsuya's actions were reasonable and efficient. Using an enemy to shield himself from other enemies was a common tactic in fights.
"I'm sorry for that but I don't believe I did anything wrong. At that time we both considered each other as enemies, why would I not use him as a shield? If I wanted to, I could've dealt way more damage than I actually did."
Akeno was stunned and she clenched her fists and lowered her head.
A second later a small whisper escaped her lips.
"I'm sorry..."
Knowing that Tatsuya was not at fault she felt conflicted.
Rias also stood up and bowed in apology, "I'm sorry we came to such a conclusion without making things clear."
"It's alright, let's not linger on these matters." Tatsuya smiled kindly, "Before you turn us into servants I'd like to make a few things clear..." Tatsuya's amiable smile faded away as he looked at them coldly.
The atmosphere tensed once again.
"I will accept being your servant and so will my sister but... First- I won't accept any harmful requests or orders for us. We will fight by your side wholeheartedly but if there's a situation where death is certain I'll abandon you all and flee with my sister."
Tatsuya raised his second finger smoothly.
"Second- Should I come to know you've done something malicious to my sister I'll personally snap your head off and no one in this world will be able to stop me, whether it be your group or even your Maou Brother."
Then came the third finger.
Tatsuya narrowed his eyes as he looked at Rias.
"Third-Tell me the real reason you're desperate to accept us into your peerage. From start to finish you've been quite hasty with how things have proceeded."
Rias was incredibly displeased.
His arrogance is stifling.
She couldn't argue back because she knew that she along with her peerage were currently no match for him.
Soon I'll show him the power of Princess of Gremory and her peerage.
Rias knew that only Ichika would be a true addition to her peerage. Unless she could defeat him Tatsuya would not respect her as his Master.
Looking at the flickering emotions in the eyes of her dear friend Sona suppressed a smile. No matter how things had proceeded, Sona was grateful to Tatsuya.
Thanks to him, her lazy and spoiled friend would take her training seriously.
"I would never hurt my own Peerage members so don't dare say that again." Rias frowned, "Also, being frank we High-Class Devils have a thing called Rating Games in the underworld. Consider it as something like a Team Battle where we fight the peerages of others. Rating Games have a lot of benefits which I'll explain later but that's the main reason. I have an important Rating Game in around two years and my opponent is formidable... that's all."
Rias spoke everything truthfully only hiding the fact that this Rating Game she spoke of would decide her future. She didn't want to give Tatsuya the initiative and make him think he could use her desperation in any manner.
She was basically saying- Yes I need peerage members but only for Rating Games. That's all. There's nothing really of importance at stake.
Tatsuya didn't expose her and smiled.
"I'm glad you're honest."
Rias and Sona looked at each other before nodding.
Rias extended her fair palm forward and bits of red light flashed on top of it. A second later two blood-red chess pieces materialised, one being a Rook piece and the other being a Bishop piece.
"Will it cause her any kind of pain?" Tatsuya asked.
"No, generally it doesn't. It's really really rare for it to cause pain so don't worry." Rias smiled, "Anyhow let's begin!"
****
Ichika felt strange,
She opened her eyes as her memories surfaced. She was knocked out by Tatsuya for some reason.
Ichika didn't mind it.
The first thing she saw was Tatsuya's gentle smiling face.
"Onii-chan~?" She whispered softly as Tatsuya caressed her hair.
"Wake up." At his word, Ichika sat up and saw a smiling Rias along with her peerage.
"Ah! Rias-san? Wait the head-!"
"Don't worry," Rias waved her hand, "Sona took it and left. She'll inform her sister, who is also a Maou, about this incident."
"I see..." Ichika noticed something else.
Rias and her peerage weren't looking at Tatsuya with spite anymore. Even Akeno looked guilty instead.
As if sensing her doubt Rias smiled wryly, "Yamamoto-kun explained everything to us. We're sorry for jumping to conclusions."
Ichika felt her eyelid twitch.
What kind of story did he spin now?
"Really!?" Ichika let out a heartwarming smile, "I'm glad..."
*Clap!*
"That matter aside!" Rias clapped her hands, "Do you feel any different Ichika?"
"Different?" Ichika understood what had happened while she was unconscious.
"I feel lighter and... I can sense the mana in the air quite easily but there's something... weird about it."
Rias chuckled, "That's because you now have Demonic Energy as a Devil! It's fundamentally different from the pure mana of Humans!"
"Devil!? I've become a Devil?" Ichika was flustered, she looked at Tatsuya who simply nodded.
"But I don't feel that different."
"I'm not sure what you were expecting but being a Devil simply means having a different DNA or Bloodline. We're all a form of humans." Rias smiled mischievously, "Try thinking of something springing out from your back."
Tatsuya pushed Ichika behind the sofa so that her wings wouldn't crash into him.
Ichika was genuinely excited as she tried to feel something special about herself. After shifting her expression for a minute a pair of bat-like wings erupted from her back.
"Welcome to my peerage. Rias smiled, feeling excited about the future.
Ichika hurriedly nodded and retracted the wings.
She sat down beside Tatsuya as both siblings nodded their heads.
"We'll be in your care."
****
Rias and her peerage left after a brief exchange of words.
She said she'd inform them more about their role and duties tomorrow after school.
Tatsuya and Ichika sat silently on the sofa.
"How does it feel?" He turned his head towards her and asked.
"My base strength has been amplified by at least thrice. And..." Ichika grinned, extending both her hands. out, shards of ice materialised and floated on top of her right hand while on the left there was a floating ball of fire, "Magic is effortless compared to before. These Devils have it really easy huh... I can also feel something is buffing my spells. Is it because of the Bishop piece?"
"I'd like to think it is." Tatsuya nodded, "Unfortunately my strength has barely increased. I suppose it's a miracle that I could even take the piece in."
"Oh... her brother sounds like a real hotshot." Ichika smiled playfully, "Do you know him?"
"To be honest her brother is the one I'm most wary of. Both siblings have this Soul Erasure ability that I have no counter to. Rias is weak and I can kill her instantly but a direct hit from her brother and I might die."
"That's dangerous..." Ichika was surprised, it didn't seem like he was joking this time-
"Though, her brother is also one of the most powerful beings in the world."
Ichika felt her lips twitch.
"Are you bragging?"
It'd take one of the strongest beings in this world to kill you...? Ichika slowly eradicated her plans to escape at a later date.
Looking at Tatsuya's bright smile Ichika felt her mood dampen.
"Onii-chan-" Ichika suddenly called out and Tatsuya raised an eyebrow, "Yeah?"
"Fuck you Onii-chan~!" A fireball came crashing towards his face and as the fireball faded he saw Ichika stick her tongue out towards him before running away.
Tatsuya's lips twitched.
"You're asking for a pounding." He flashed and chased after her.
Soon the house was full of crying moans of pleasure.
****
Tatsuya stared at the unconscious Ichika who was covered in his cum and smirked.
He cast [Clean] and dressed her up.
Having relieved himself of some pent-up lust his face turned indifferent as he left the house and stared at the empty sky.
"Kaguya." Tatsuya smiled, "Isn't the night beautiful?"
"My concept of beauty is unorthodox." Kaguya appeared and wrapped her hands around his neck as if her body was resting on his back.
"What about your concept of strength?"
"It's alright. Why ask?"
"You know why." Tatsuya shook his head as his clothes began to change. A wardrobe change required no World Essence.
He disappeared from the house after leaving a blood clone to substitute for him and travelled to a different city. It took some time but it was necessary for what he was about to do.
To make the disguise even more perfect he forced the length of his hair to increase using Devil Magic till it reached his lower back.
Truly handy.
He wore a long, black, tattered coat with a deep crimson lining. The coat was fitted at the torso with crisscrossing straps over the chest, leaving part of it exposed. Tight sleeves wrapped around his arms, with white bandages coiling around his forearms. A white sash secured the coat at the waist, while the lower half split at the sides for mobility.
His clothes now resembled that of a true Shinigami.
Now comes the main part.
"I haven't truly tried using this ability ever since I got it." Tatsuya was curious.
He had used the Shinigami mask while slaughtering his way through the Whiteroom but he simply used it for decoration without summoning any of its powers.
But this time...
The mask materialised.
It was a bone-white mask with two jagged crimson stripes running vertically over the eye sockets. The mask's mouth was lined with sharp, interlocking teeth, giving it a skeletal, menacing appearance.
It looked incredibly eerie.
The Demonic Energy around him began raging with ferocity with him at the center.
"Incredible..." A low gruffy sound escaped his lips.
With the mask in place, the irises of his eyes became yellow with black sclera and pupils. His voice also had a slight Hollow echo to it.
Tatsuya didn't expect the amplification to be this great.
The strength he had could basically rival that of a Middle-tier Ultimate Devil and he had just reincarnated as a Devil a few hours ago!
It was a direct 4x multiplier.
Not only that with just his physical strength alone he could fight Low-Tier Ultimate Class Devils!
"What exactly are you hoping to accomplish?" Kaguya narrowed her pretty eyes.
Tatsuya smiled behind the mask, his expression gentle.
"For my own benefit, the world can only suffer."
He raised his hand as he travelled at high speeds. On the top of his palm, Spiritual Energy began to gather. It circled in his palm and formed a sphere.
But that wasn't all.
As Tatsuya continuously poured Spiritual Energy inside the sphere he began injecting his own blood into the sphere.
As the Sphere became larger he forcibly began to compress it. Not only was he infinitely compressing the Spiritual Energy but also his own blood.
The dual compression backed by Ban's infinite regeneration caused Kaguya to frown.
It was a Bloody Cero, a compressed beam of energy that could instantly destroy mountains.
"Don't..." Kaguya whispered.
The gentle look in Tatsuya's eyes grew softer as he continued to compress the Bloody Cero.
The air around him began to warp.
"After all, I'm not one to waste time... Am I?"
-x-X-x-
A lone figure stood at the edge of the cliff, his silhouette barely illuminated by the pale moonlight.
The wind howled around him, carrying the scent of iron as thin streams of blood dripped from his fingertips, defying gravity as they coiled toward a single, growing point in his palm.
A deep hum resonated in the air. Dark red light flickered to life, forming a perfectly round sphere no larger than a baseball.
But despite its size, the space around it trembled unnaturally.
This wasn't an ordinary Cero.
His Blood Manipulation wrapped around the energy, layering it in an impenetrable cocoon of crimson, suppressing every fluctuation, every unstable vibration, every sign of its monstrous presence. The sphere didn't grow-it condensed. With every second, the energy within it became denser, crushing itself under an impossible weight.
The mountain beneath him remained silent. No eruptions of power, no violent outbursts. Nothing to indicate the devastation taking form within his hand.
Yet, the air itself was growing heavier.
-One minute-
The black and red sphere pulsed, its surface veined with streaks of his own blood, merging with raw spiritual energy. The fusion was seamless, almost unnatural. His Hollow Mask amplified his power and further stabilized the compression.
His arm stiffened under the immense pressure, muscles screaming as microscopic tears formed and healed instantly-Ban's Regeneration working overtime.
He barely noticed.
-Ten minutes-
The compression had increased a hundredfold. Every drop of energy was forced into the same unchanging space. The sphere remained the size of a baseball, yet its sheer density was becoming unnatural.
If released now, the resulting explosion would reduce mountains to dust, but it wasn't enough.
Not yet.
-Thirty minutes-
The air had changed. It felt wrong.
A deafening silence replaced the wind. The world around him had stilled, as if nature itself recognized the aberration forming in his palm.
Gravity itself was bending. Small particles of dust floated, rising unnaturally as if pulled toward the Cero. Tiny distortions-barely noticeable warps in space-flickered around the sphere before vanishing, like reality was struggling to contain what was being created.
Still, the size never changed. It remained locked at the same baseball-sized sphere, yet the weight behind it had reached monstrous levels.
-One hour-
His body should have collapsed. His arm should have been torn apart. Any normal being would have disintegrated under the sheer stress of holding it.
But Ban's Regeneration repaired everything instantly. His body could break a thousand times, and it wouldn't matter. He could hold this forever.
And so, he continued.
-Two hours-
The compression had reached its absolute peak.
He stopped pouring more energy in.
He couldn't charge it any longer otherwise the Cero would self-destruct due to his lack of control.
The Cero was no longer a mass of spiritual energy.
Even light struggled to escape it. The edges of the sphere were pitch black, yet the deeper core burned with a crimson glow-a dying star compressed into the palm of his hand.
The mountain beneath him finally gave in. The rock cracked, splintering into jagged fractures as an invisible force pressed down on the terrain.
The moment he released it hell would break loose.
"I underestimated the madness hidden inside of you." Kaguya, like an ethereal being, floated behind him. Her divine eyes looked down on the landscape holding vast amounts of population.
"What madness my dear? This is but just an efficient path towards success. Why let small hesitations ruin the long game? I exchanged the location of Grigori from you for a mere 100 World Essence. You're such an exploitable fellow." Tatsuya's gentle gaze peered down in a similar fashion to Kaguya.
"I thought you would've laid low, this isn't like you." Kaguya had not fully recovered, her wisdom, her intellect, and her knowledge were all disoriented.
Tatsuya didn't blame her, for survival, many things had to be considered and Tatsuya would never let his fate be in the hands of others.
"You shouldn't arrogantly claim to know someone, Kaguya." Tatsuya's face, devoid of emotions, remained fixed in Kaguya's eyes, "There are still things you have yet to consider my dear System. What I'm about to do is an absolute necessity-"
All of a sudden Tatsuya froze before he raised his head.
His eyes flickered with a sharp glearn as he flew high into the night sky.
"I am a human."
He raised his palm and looked down at the world beneath him.
"This world full of impurities... I shall cleanse."
A soft voice echoed in the starry sky.
"May Heaven and Hell cease to exist."
A single movement. That was all it took.
His fingers twitched-just slightly-before opening fully, releasing the compressed Bloody Cero.
For a split second, nothing happened. The sphere, which had remained perfectly still for two hours, no longer had a force keeping it restrained. And then-reality split apart.
A thin black and crimson beam erupted from his palm, no wider than a bullet at first, before reaching the size of a basketball.
But it was not the size that mattered....
It was the force.
The air around it imploded, collapsing inward as the Cero ripped through the atmosphere at speeds that should have been impossible. The sheer gravitational pull of the compressed energy caused the clouds in the night sky to spiral violently, forming a swirling vortex that followed the beam's trajectory.
It took less than a second to reach Grigori.

—Deep Underground—
Beneath a Supposedly Abandoned Industrial Complex
The research facility was alive with activity. Rows of computers displayed holographic projections, analyzing Sacred Gears, tracking supernatural energy fluctuations, and monitoring faction movements across the world. Fallen Angels and human researchers moved between terminals, their voices murmuring in hushed conversations.
Then the alarms screamed.
A sharp, high-pitched wail tore through the facility, cutting through the noise like a blade.
Red lights flashed. Screens flickered.
"What the hell is that!?"
One of the scientists, a younger Fallen Angel with only four wings, froze as a massive spike in energy readings flooded his monitor. Numbers surged past readable levels, climbing exponentially. The system couldn't keep up.
A different researcher slammed his hands against the console. "Energy levels exceeding all known supernatural thresholds-this isn't a natural event!"
"Is it a Longinus attack?!" someone shouted.
No answer. Because no one knew.
Then came the external cameras.
A blurry, grainy image appeared on the main screen-a streak of crimson and black light tearing through the night sky like an executioner's blade.
Azazel had lived for thousands of years. He had seen wars, betrayals, gods fall and devils rise. He had survived the Great War, outlived even some of Heaven's original leaders.
And yet-this?
He had never seen this.
The energy readings were wrong. They weren't just high-they were impossible.
It was not the amount of power that horrified him.
It was the fact that such a vast amount of energy was gathered without a trace!
The screens in front of him glitched, static cutting through the data feeds as his researchers screamed over each other.
"Governor-General! The energy output is still climbing-this isn't normal, it's-"
"We have incoming! Direct hit in one seco-"
Then the monitors exploded.
The last thing Azazel saw before the screens went dark was a streak of black and red light descending from the sky like divine punishment.
His mind snapped into action.
"GET OUT!" he roared, his wings flaring open as he grabbed the nearest scientist and shoved him toward the emergency exits.
Fallen Angels scrambled for the corridors, wings beating furiously as they rushed toward the underground evacuation routes-but it was already too late.
The Cero struck.
For a fraction of a second-there was silence.
An invisible barrier appeared covered with countless magic circles.
But...
*Crack!*
****
Baraqiel was not a weakling.
He was one of the strongest warriors in Grigori, a fallen warrior of Heaven who had fought in countless battles. His body bore the scars of divine and demonic weapons alike.
But the moment he felt the pressure descend from the heavens, he knew.
"We are going to die."
The words escaped his lips before he could stop them.
His subordinates-dozens of warriors, soldiers, and researchers-looked at him in terror. Some had already drawn their weapons as if preparing for an enemy they couldn't see.
"Shuri forgive me... Akeno, my lovely daughter, if... if only I could see you onc-"
He didn't get to finish.
His words barely left his mouth when the Cero struck-!
*Silence*
There was no explosion. Not at first.
The beam pierced the earth in absolute silence, sinking into the ground like a drill made of raw death.
The moment it made contact-the entire landscape trembled.
The surrounding forests didn't burn. They ceased to exist.
The mountain above the Grigori base detonated from the inside out, not because of an explosion, but because the very space within it collapsed. The air itself seemed to shatter, forming cracks of pure darkness that expanded outward before crumbling into nothingness.
Then - it erupted.
The energy, compressed to its absolute limit for two hours, finally expanded.
A split second later-sound returned.
*BOOOOM!!!*
A roar, deeper and more violent than any natural force, erupted from the epicenter. A shockwave of pure force flattened everything for miles in an instant. Entire sections of the ground were peeled away, as if an invisible hand had scraped the surface of the world clean.
The underground base-Grigori's heart, its research, its leaders, its history-was swallowed whole.
For a moment, the Fallen Angels inside saw nothing but light.
Those closest to the impact were vaporized instantly, bodies reduced to specks of dust before they could even scream.
Those further away felt their skin sear away, their bones fracture, their wings catch fire.
Then the base itself collapsed.
Steel beams, reinforced magical walls, entire levels of underground structures folded inward before being obliterated completely. The research labs, the storage chambers, the command center-all of it ceased to be.
Grigori was gone.
****
The shockwave reached as far as the outskirts of human cities, causing buildings to tremble, glass to shatter, and electronics to fail.
A crater, miles wide, replaced what was once Grigori. It was as if something had taken a massive bite out of the land itself.
There were no bodies left. No wreckage. No survivors. Just an empty void where a faction once stood.
The world would notice.
For the people of Japan, it was a night like any other.
The neon glow of Tokyo's skyline burned against the darkened sky, traffic streamed through city streets, and thousands of lights flickered inside homes, businesses, and skyscrapers.
Then, at exactly 2:16 AM, the world changed.
It began with a pressure. Not a sound, not an explosion-just a deep, suffocating weight that crushed against the atmosphere. Birds froze mid-flight, animals screamed and bolted as their instincts recognized something unnatural.
Then the sky lit up.
From the distant horizon, a pillar of black and crimson energy descended from the heavens, expanding at an impossible rate. The clouds twisted violently, spiraling inward toward the epicenter, forming a black void where the stars had once been.
Then the earth shook.
Tokyo Tower rattled, its steel frame groaning. Skyscrapers swayed, glass windows vibrating so violently that some burst outward, sending shards of glass cascading onto the streets below.
People woke up gasping, their breath stolen by the sudden pressure in the air. Car alarms wailed. Emergency sirens blared across the cities, triggered by seismic readings off the charts.
In Kyoto, monks at a Shinto shrine collapsed to the ground, clutching their chests as they felt a presence that should not exist.
In Osaka, the waters of the bay receded unnaturally, before surging back in a rogue tidal wave that crashed against the docks.
And in Kuoh Town-where the most powerful supernatural factions had secretly gathered-the sky turned red as the heavens cried tears of blood.
That night, Japan bore witness to a rain of blood.

—Deep in the Underworld—
Sirzechs froze mid-sentence as the tremors reached him.
He wasn't on Earth. He wasn't even close to Japan. And yet, he felt it.
The aura that burned through the sky was not Demonic.
It wasn't Holy.
It wasn't even Draconic.
It was pure energy.
The monitors inside the Lucifer estate flickered, showing satellite images of the red sky over Japan, the shockwave tearing across entire regions.
"Ajuka."
The name left his lips before he even turned.
Behind him, Ajuka Beelzebub, the greatest mind in the Underworld, was already analyzing the event. His emerald-green eyes narrowed, his fingers moving rapidly across a holographic display.
The energy readings were fluctuating too much.
Too chaotic.
Too unstable.
Sirzechs' expression darkened.
Sirzechs' expression darkened.
"Something just erased Grigori."
Akuja muttered darkly.
Both Super Devils looked at each other before disappearing.
-x-X-x-
—Inside the highest layer of Heaven—
Michael's eyes snapped open.
The divine crystal before him flickered, showing the aftermath of the devastation.
Not just destruction. Not just death.
Total erasure.
"Gabriel, summon the Seraphs."
Gabriel, who had been kneeling in prayer just moments ago, looked up sharply. The gentle warmth in her eyes was gone-replaced with frost.
"Has war begun?"
Michael's lips pressed into a thin line.
"No. This... is something else but perhaps..."
The Strongest Angels of Heaven unfurled their wings as they disappeared.
-x-X-x-
—Deep within Asgard—
Odin chuckled bitterly.
"What foolishness is this?"
A goblet of mead sat untouched on the table before him. Instead, his eye was focused on the burning scar left in the sky above Japan.
"A new monster has appeared, has it?"
The old god sighed, rubbing his beard.
A trace of worry lingered in his eyes.
-x-X-x-
Japan was in chaos.
The human world was left with an unexplained disaster on a massive scale.
The cause of this chaos had long escaped and four of the strongest beings in the world gathered.
Sirzechs, Ajuka, Michael, And Gabriel were the quickest to the scene.
They looked at the devastated surface of Japan and quickly locked their gazes on the base of Grigori. A deep crater had been carved as if a nuclear weapon had been dropped.
Not only did Grigori cease to exist it was completely annihilated. There was not even a hint of any life, only the residue of the holy energy of the dead Fallen Angels.
Michael's eyes were full of sorrow.
"They had once been our companions... Azazel you..."
The air was dead.
Michael stood in the center of it all, wings folded, his golden armor dirtied by soot and traces of energy that refused to dissipate.
A few steps away, Gabriel knelt on the blackened glass-like surface where the earth had once been soil and rock. Her fingers trembled as she touched it. Nothing.
No life.
No trace of what had been.
Her lips parted, but at first, no words came. Then, finally, her voice cracked.
"Not even souls remain..."
Michael exhaled slowly through his nose..
"I know."
Gabriel was barely listening.
She was still kneeling, fingers pressing against the unmoving, dead surface beneath her. Her eyes glistened-not with rage, not with duty.
Grief.
Her voice came out quietly, trembling.
"We cannot ignore the humans."
The others turned to her, but she wasn't speaking to them. She was speaking to herself.
Michael's lips parted slightly, his expression tightening.
"Gabriel."
She stood abruptly, her hands clenched at her sides. For the first time in thousands of years, her expression was defiant.
Her wings flared, light pooling at their edges.
"I don't care about the politics," she said, and it wasn't like her. It wasn't the soft, gentle Gabriel they knew.
Sirzechs exhaled slowly. "Gabriel, you know we cannot-"
"I won't. They won't know." Her voice lingered in the air, she was already gone.
The three remaining figures stood in silence, the faint shimmer of light where Gabriel had just vanished still lingering.
Ajuka sighed, already knowing what she would do.
They all knew why.
Because even if Heaven could not intervene in the supernatural balance, even if war was not yet on the table, Gabriel could not watch humans suffer and do nothing.
Sirzechs Lucifer stood with his arms crossed, crimson hair shifting slightly in the unnatural air that refused to settle. His eyes, glowing faintly red, were unreadable.
"Four million people are dead." His voice was flat, controlled, but too controlled. Forced neutrality, because whatever emotion was lurking beneath it didn't belong on the face of the Maou Lucifer.
Ajuka Beelzebub, standing beside him, adjusted his gloves, his emerald eyes scanning the vast emptiness before them.
Unlike the others, Ajuka had not spoken. Not immediately. He had been processing.
And now, as his fingers moved subtly, holographic magical interfaces flickered to life, displaying incomprehensible formulas, calculations beyond human understanding.
Finally, he spoke.
"This wasn't divine power. This wasn't demonic. This wasn't draconic." His voice was calm. "An unknown energy... Too many variables I can't pinpoint. Very odd."
Sirzechs finally turned his head slightly surprised at Ajuka's failure.
Ajuka Beelzebub was a Super Devil like Sirzechs.
But unlike Sirzechs who relied on his Bloodline ability, Power of Destruction, Ajuka had with his own unique experiences gained an incredibly broken ability.
It was called the Kankara Formula.
This ability allowed Ajuka to manipulate the phenomena that occur in the world by using his demonic powers to fill in the calculations of the natural phenomena. By using a specialized magic circle, he is capable of affecting the outside world in various ways.
Him not being able to calculate something was no short of mind boggling!
Ajuka continued, shifting his hand, and a recorded projection of the event replayed.
The blurry figure with his palm facing the sky slowly became clearer.
It was a tall man.
He wore a long, black, tattered coat with a deep crimson lining. There were a few letters in white on his robe written in Kanji. His long black hair fluttered due to the wind currents around him. The highlight of his appearance was a mask.
A bone-white mask..
The mask had two jagged crimson stripes running vertically over the eye sockets. The mask's mouth was lined with sharp, interlocking teeth, giving it a skeletal, menacing appearance. Narrow slits for the eyes concealed his gaze.
As they were speculating who this individual was all of a sudden their expressions shifted.
Something extremely eerie occurred.
The masked man who had been silently gathering energy on the screen suddenly looked up. It was as if he was looking straight at the three of them.
"I am a human."
A hollow voice echoed from the holographic recording.
Ajuka, Sirzechs and Michael felt a chill go down their spines.
"This world full of impurities... I shall cleanse."
At this moment the masked man released the charged beam of pure energy towards Grigori and the millions of humans below without any hesitation.
"May Heaven and Hell cease to exist."
-x-X-x-
At first, it looked like a single beam of compressed black and red light. But as Ajuka altered the playback speed, slowing it to an impossible degree, a second layer became visible.
Something beneath the energy.
"It's not just raw power," Ajuka murmured, more to himself than the others. A surprised gasp echoed from his lips, "He's not using energy from the world!? Sirzechs! Michael! Look at this."
They both looked at the holographic recording.
"Yes," Ajuka nodded, the confirmation sharp, "For two hours this individual has drawn this unique energy from himself but I'm sure it is neither of the majorly used energies in the world. The only thing I was able to calculate was that the energy he might've used was Soul/Spiritual Energy considering how the souls of humans have travelled to Hades dimension but none of the Fallen Angels were allowed to survive, their souls were obliterated along with the blast."
Sirzechs and Michael grimaced.
To gather energy consistently from within themselves into a single strike... It wasn't hard.
But if his claim of being Human was true... Then it was simply absurd.
The issue was the amount of Demonic/Holy energy in their own personal reservoir. Sure they could also gather energy for two hours but without even a trace of it?
Grigori was not destroyed because the power of the Cero was too strong, no, Sirzechs alone could also dish out a similar attack and that too in far less time at full power.
The reason Grigori was destroyed was that it was unable to detect the attack in advance and fully activate all its defensive measures.
But if that wasn't enough Ajuka continued to speak.
"And it seems like the reason he stopped was not because he was drained of energy but the fact that he could not control a more powerful attack."
Michael's eyes widened, "Are you telling me this beast can gather such large amounts of energy for even a longer period of time?"
Ajuka nodded.
His expression had been calm throughout the ordeal, no one knew what exactly he was thinking.
Sirzechs sighed as his expression turned grave.
His sister was in Japan but that could no longer be allowed. Not with such an individual on the loose.
"The Kanji written on his robe..." Ajuka turned to Sirzechs and he nodded.
"Shinigami... Soul Reaper."
There existed another being with a similar title hence they didn't directly call him the God of Death.
That title belonged to Hades.
Michael's face remained impassive as he studied the destroyed ground.
"Immediately spread the news of this throughout the Supernatural World. Add this Soul Reaper to the Must-Kill list of Hell, the Heavens shall also do so. Inform the other major factions to follow suit."
Sirzechs and Ajuka nodded in response to Michael's words.
Since the Soul Reaper had already declared war against the Supernatural he had to be eliminated. Not only because he had eliminated Grigori, an important political party of the Supernatural, but also because he had violated the unspoken taboo among the Supernatural by involving the human world.
"Agreed."
With that, the fate of the Soul Reaper was decided.
****
Molten silver eyes gleamed in the dark of the night.
The 'Soul Reaper' was currently on his way back to Kuoh Town. He was wearing the Invisibility Cloak as he travelled across the sky.
His body was wrapped in a crackling aura of electricity. White-hot arcs of lightning danced across his skin, lighting up the sky around him in flashes of electric blue. Then power surged within him, amplifying his every movement.
His bloody wings pulsed with energy, absorbing the crackling lightning until they, too, shimmered with an otherworldly glow.
Tatsuya much preferred his Blood Wings to that of the Devils.
He became a streak of light in the night sky, moving faster than the eye could follow. The air around him ripped apart as the world beneath him blurred, the city became nothing more than a faint smudge of darkness.
Kaguya laid on his back as if the speed of their travel had no effect on her. Only her elegant silver hair fluttered in an ethereal manner.
"I've stopped concealing you," Kaguya spoke lazily as she stared at the disappearing night sky.
"Hmm," Tatsuya hummed in agreement, "It should be impossible for Ajuka to trace me now."
Despite saying so, his speed didn't slow down, instead, he forced his body to work harder.
The period when you felt the most safe was in fact the most dangerous part of any journey. A single mishap due to lowered guard could cost then deeply.
"What are the reasons behind your current actions if I may ask?" Kaguya waved her fingers as a blush adorned her face, thousands of thin golden threads flew from the sky towards her.
They all gathered around her before being absorbed by her body.
"Kaguya," Tatsuya spoke slowly as he crossed numerous cities in a blur, "How much do you trust yourself?"
Kaguya frowned, "What is it that you wish to convey?"
"Answer my question."
"I believe in myself just like any other being does." Kaguya closed her eyes, focusing on devouring the incoming World Essence.
"Do you remember the first question I asked you when I walked into this World?"
"Yes. You asked if any other being of this world besides the Heavenly Spirit could sense your arrival or actions no? Didn't you simply mean to ask if any being could sense the free-flowing Chaos Energy?"
"Correct. What was your answer?"
"Just what is your point, Yamamoto Tatsuya no, Adrian Frost?"
"You said that the beings of this world shouldn't care about Chaos Energy. To the beings of this world, Chaos Energy is just one of the many hundred energies available. Unless one is a Heavenly Being or Anomaly like you they shouldn't be able to understand the significance of Chaos Energy nor be able to use it."
Kaguya nodded, "Correct."
"What was the second question I asked you?" Tatsuya smiled and Kaguya's eyes widened.
"You... you asked if the Heavenly Spirit could converse with its inhabitants and warn it of Anomalies..."
"Your answer was that Heavenly Spirits below the Fourth Tier were unable to." Tatsuya's smile slowly faded as Kaguya frowned.
"Could it be...?"
"Yes, Kaguya. I do not trust you." Tatsuya's expression was cold, "I do not trust your fragmented self. How much of your memories do you even have?"
"I may not have much of my memories but there are many things I'm clear about and one of them is that Pseudo-Spirits cannot converse with their inhabitants."
"What about exceptions?"
Kaguya froze.
"Exceptions...?"
She was silent for a long while before she shook her head.
"I do not know."
Tatsuya nodded but Kaguya continued.
"What is the probability of this world being an exception? From what I currently know exceptions are never mentioned."
"I do not care if it's only a 0.1% probability, Kaguya." Tatsuya spoke indifferently, "I will not allow myself to die because of carelessness."
"If there is a being that can sense my actions, that can sense the ripples in Chaos Energy and knows about the existence of Anomalies... My actions should've already alerted it-no, just my arrival should've made it wary."
"If the Chaos Energy caused by me messing with Rias's peerage might've almost helped it locate me then let's see how it'll find me now that half of Japan and the entire existence of Fallen Angels are gone."
Kaguya was stunned as she frowned.
"I see, so you annihilated Grigori not only for World Essence but to also hide your traces in Kuoh? Now that you've destroyed Grigori and eliminated major players like Azazel, Kokabiel and Bareqiel the Chaos Energy erupted from it should serve as a good distraction causing the 'Soul Reaper' to become the spotlight and not Tatsuya Yamamoto."
Tatsuya smiled gently.
"After all, Yamamoto Tatsuya is but a harmless little Devil of a young lady's peerage." His voice echoed as he landed behind his house.
****
— Currently, the entire city of Kuoh is awake —
There was a bright flash in the sky earlier and now a heavy earthquake had disturbed everyone.
Ichika looked at Tatsuya sitting on the couch.
Then she looked at the Tatsuya standing behind the couch.
"Huh? When? Why?" She asked curiously as the Tatsuya sitting on the couch faded into a pool of blood before being absorbed by the real Tatsuya.
"Mm." Tatsuya smiled mysteriously, "The Devils should come soon. Let's wait."
"???" Ichika had question marks all over her head.
Since he left a blood clone he must've done something secretly.
Ichika was stunned for a second.
Did he somehow cause this earthquake?
Ichika felt her mind subvert. She simply could not understand Tatsuya's actions.
Why had he joined a Devil's peerage? Especially someone weaker than himself.
What had he done tonight?
What exactly was his goal?
Ichika could only think of one thing.
The empty white space they were once in. The empty void they occupied before moving to this world.
The grim howling she had heard while being there.
Ichika halted her thoughts as she sensed the Devils' arrival.
"Yamamoto! Ichika!" Rias barged in with her peerage.
Ichika noted that Rias's peerage looked as confused as herself, only Rias had a grim expression on her face
"I don't have time to explain but we'll have to escape Earth right now. We'll head to my house. Here stand in this teleportation circle."
A brilliant crimson magic circle erupted from her feet. It took a few seconds to construct as the bright red streaks of light slowly formed an obscure shape on the floor of their house.
"I don't know what's happening but I'll listen to you for now. Since we've decided to become your peerage members I believe you won't harm us." Tatsuya spoke solemnly before stepping into the magic circle holding Ichika's hand.
Rias nodded gratefully.
After all, her words were ultimately suspicious.
The magic circle flashed and the Devils disappeared.
****
— Underworld —
The Gremory Territory was as vast as the Honshu of Japan.
The sky was as dark as the human realm with a bright moon.
According to Rias the Sun and the Moon in the Underworld were actually artificial creations.
Tatsuya stared ahead as Rias explained the workings of the Underworld to him and Ichika.
In brief, the Underworld was as large as the human world if not more. The territories were divided based on accomplishments and strengths. There was also a portion given to the Fallen Angels.
Tatsuya smiled at the mention of the Fallen Angels.
According to Rias the population of the Fallen Angels was the least but ever since the Peace Treaty had been signed between the Three Factions the Fallen had become less hostile to the Devils and vice versa.
In fact, the most popular entertainment areas of the Underworld majorly belonged to the Fallen Angel as they also needed a source of income.
As they talked they reached a large territory with multiple mansions.
Rias excitedly led them to the mansion in the middle which was also the largest.
The layout of the mansion's outside was a quadrangle with a courtyard in the middle. Outside at the entrance is a fountain with a circular flower bed surrounding it, with many other gardens in the surrounding areas.
"This is our residence! The Gremory Estate!" Rias nodded as the servants welcomed her in. There was a large ruckus going on but she ignored it.
"Rias doesn't come back often hence the chaos." Akeno giggled and spoke to Ichika. She glanced at Tatsuya as well but nervously turned her head away.
She was uncomfortable because of how she had behaved with him and guilty over the fact she continued to try to frame him as a bad guy. But that wasn't enough to shake her. It was the fact that old memories had resurfaced causing her to feel down.
Ichika nodded at her words while smiling.
She looked around like a naive girl who knew nothing of the world.
She occasionally pulled Tatsuya's sleeve as she pointed at things she found amazing. Tatsuya nodded along with a small smile but there was no amazement in his eyes.
Rias pouted inwardly and hoped to see him amazed by her house. She was quite pleased with Ichika's reaction and her impression of her grew.
At last, she glanced at Akeno who walking beside Ichika.
Rias wasn't a fool, she knew of Akeno's problems.
But problems weren't always solved by headbutting them. Sometimes leaving them alone could also solve the problem or lessen it.
Kiba and Koneko seemed a bit awkward and Rias sighed.
Koneko due to her innate fear of Tatsuya and Kiba because he was used ruthlessly as a shield.
So what if he understood Tatsuya's actions? It didn't erase the fact he was humiliated. Kiba didn't hold a grudge but he still found it hard to converse with him normally.
It'd take a bit of time to have her group become as familiar with each other as before.
Thankfully Ichika's cute personality could bring them together. Not to mention Tatsuya didn't seem to be too rude or cold in his behaviour. He seemed like quite the gentleman when it didn't involve Ichika.
"We're here!" Rias barged inside an elegant room with a large table in the centre. There were numerous chairs.
But that wasn't what caught Tatsuya's attention.
His eyes fell onto the figure standing behind the long main seat of the table.
"Welcome, Rias-sama." An elegantly calm voice echoed.
It belonged to a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and red eyes.
She stood behind the main seat with her hands in front of her as she bowed slightly upon Rias's entry.
Her beautiful silver eyes fell onto the Yamamoto pair and paused for a brief second. She then used her fingers to raise the hem of her skirt while bowing in a noble manner.
"How do you do? I'm a maid that serves the House of Gremory. My name is Grayfia. Pleased to make your acquaintances."
"Yamamoto Tatsuya, a Rook of my Master." Tatsuya didn't let his gaze linger too long as he bowed politely.
"You're so pretty- Ah." Tatsuya nudged the stunned Ichika, "S-sorry! Uhm, Yamamoto Ichika, a Bishop of my Master." She copied Tatsuya's words.
Rias's heart calmed down. She was extensively worried that Tatsuya would be rude to Grayfia. Thankfully not only did he behave in a noble manner he also stated his position as her Rook with grace.
He was making it clear to Rias.
'I might not respect you but I won't stain your reputation in public.'
On the other hand, Grayfia lightly evaluated the two individuals in front of her and nodded inwardly.
She smiled lightly, "Glad to meet you." She then turned to Rias who also greeted her, "Rias-sama please be seated, Sir and Madam are making their way here as well. The meeting will start soon."
"Do you know what happened? Why was my brother so anxious?"
Rias asked urgently as she sat down.
As her peerage and servants, Akeno and the rest stood behind her in a reserved manner.
Grayfia shook her head, "I have been briefed about it but I have been instructed to remain silent till the meeting begins."
Rias frowned and fell silent.
She knew how stubborn Grayfia was so she didn't continue.
A minute passed by in silence as two individuals walked in together.
It was a couple.
The man had the appearance of a middle-aged, handsome-looking man with long crimson hair that was tied in a loose ponytail with a black hairband. His eyes were bright blue just like Rias.
The woman had hair similar to Rias albeit with shorter, brown flaxen hair and violet eyes much like the natural-born members of the Bael Clan. Perhaps it was because of being a Devil she didn't appear a year older than 25-26.
It was much better to call her Rias's sister instead of her mother.
Much like noble High-Class Devils, each step they took was full of charm and elegance.
However, that shattered as soon as they entered the room and saw Rias.
"My baby girl you're back!" The man tried to lunge for Rias only to be pulled back by his wife who had a tick on her forehead out of anger.
Rias' eyelid twitched in embarrassment.
Behind the main seat, Grayfia deadpanned seeing his antics.
"Husband, please mind your manners. There are guests present." Her voice was cold and Zeoticus shivered.
"Of course of course!" Zeoticus coughed and steadied himself. His eyes landed on the unfamiliar pair.
"Oh hoh? Are you the new members of my daughter's peerage?"
"Yamamoto Tatsuya, a Rook of my Master." Tatsuya repeated his actions and Ichika followed suit, "Yamamoto Ichika, a Bishop of my Master."
"What polite fellows! Ah, what a little cutie!" Venelana's eyes sparkled while looking at Ichika. A second later she looked at Tatsuya and her eyes widened, "And how handsome! Don't tell me this is why you've been delaying your engagement, my dear!?" Venelana who was supposed to be the most elegant of them all present was the first one to show a stunned face as she glanced over Tatsuya.
"..???? "
Rias was stunned for a second before her face broke into a furious blush, "NO! Shut up! What the hell are you saying!?!? This is why I don't come home!" Rias yelled in embarrassment.
Zeoticus glared at Tatsuya as if accusing him of stealing his daughter.
Tatsuya's lips twitched and much like Rias he was bewildered.
Where were the stern cold noble Devils he was expecting?
"Thank you for the praise uh..." He paused and looked at the couple.
"Ah, we haven't introduced ourselves have we?" Zeoticus smiled, "I am the current Head of the Gremory Family, Zeoticus Gremory. This here is my beloved wife Venelana Bael. Rias is our daughter." he put his hand on his wife's shoulder as she nodded with a kind smile.
"How did you two meet Rias?" His eyes were full of curiosity.
"Sir, Madam, I believe the meeting is about to start. We can perhaps continue things after, no?" Grayfia intervened knowing the seriousness of the matter.
"Indeed.." Zeoticus nodded along with Venelana as they sat down.
Their expressions turned serious as a minute later a holographic image appeared, sitting at the main seat.
The holographic image showed a handsome man who seemed to be in his early 20s. He had shoulder-length crimson hair and blue eyes. His face was sharp and he looked much like a male version of Rias, though more mature.
Zeoticus frowned as he saw the grave expression of his usually laid-back son.
"What happened, Sirzechs?" Venelana asked with concern.
The man in question had an unusually serious expression.
Instead of answering Venelana, he turned his head around and his eyes locked onto Tatsuya before narrowing into sharp slits.
The members of the meeting were stunned seeing Sirzechs glare at him.
Tatsuya matched his gaze without any reservation.
Tension began erupting in the hall.
