"Ari"A soft voice whispered,waking Ariana from her dream land ,her eyelashes flattered before opening , revealing those beautiful pair of hazel eyes.

His breath hitched,taking in her beautiful features,her pink heart shaped lips parted taking in some fresh breeze.

"Dion "Ariane whispered as her eyes taken in the image of who called her name .He smiled.

She quick sat up,a small smile graced her lips as she finally get to see her friend after how many weeks that he left for the human city.

"You are back"She said with a bright smile that almost blinded him ,She is just too beautiful but then he can't have her.He sighed inwardly sadly.

"You look more beautiful than the last time I saw you"He teased with a smile and she chuckled .Her chuckles sounded like music to his ear ,Only if she isn't married yet.

"You sure love teasing me don't you"She said nudging his shoulder playfully and he laughed too.Unless that he wasn't joking .

"Prince Tristan isn't here to keep you company??"He asked as he couldn't find him.Ariane sighed

"He went for war"She said,her voice clotted with sadness.Dion paused.No wonder,he have the gut to ask him to kill her,He already sent her husband to War.

"There is no reason to be sad ,Am here for you, remember "He said with a charming smile,He was one hell of a beauty ,His brown eyes shone with affection.For her.

Ariane smiled but sadly"But you will soon leave for the hospital too,no one will stay with me "

Dion sighed but he smiled patting her hair gently then pulled her into a hug "After work I will surely come see you "

Araine smiled then nodded,She hope so.

They both sat there silently staring at the Lake ,It's was mesmerizing .

Dion stood infront of the window staring out of it,dressed in his white coat,as a professional doctor .An unspeakable emotions dazzled in his eyes as his thought went back to the King.He knew he can't delay the job given to him unless he wants his head to be beheaded .His eyes scanned the city ,It's usual bustling and hustling speaks a lot about the wealth of the country .He can't afford to offend the powerful king who have the political authorities wrapped around his fingers .

He need to find another alternative,probably twist it to his own advantage.

"Knock knock knock"A gentle bang came on the door.Dion took a deep breath ,his eyes withdrawed from Veiwing the great city and back to his dull office.He adjusted his doctor's coat and sat down on his chair .

"Come in"His voice filled with eloquence signaled the person to come in.The doorknob twisted and a beautiful nurse walked in ,her nurse gown hugging against her body ,her face pancaked with makeup's which instead of highlighting her beauty just seems to make her look like a monkey.

Dion face twitched in slight disgust,he wasn't a fan of women who put on too much makeup ,not to talk of one who uses every single chance to seduce him.

"Doctor Silver,There is an emergency "Worries were quite evident in her voice but that didn't still stop her from admiring the doctor .He is the most handsome doctor in the hospital yet single.

Dion face took a turn ,He quickly stood up grabbing his stethoscope and gracefully Followed her.He wasn't the type to lose his control in a bad situation.The nurse followed him guiding him to the operation room .

"Your highness ,Prince Adrian request Your presence in the dinning hall"The maid had her head bowed as she addresses Ariane.

Ariane hand brushing her hair paused ,Her brow furrowed as she can't comprehend the reason why he is calling her.

It's been two days since she last saw him and she didn't want his trouble now.

"I will be there soon ,You can leave"Ariane dismissed,her voice barely containing any emotions.

The Maid bowed and left the room .

Araine finally tied her hair into a ponytail ,her neck left bare to the naked eyes was adored in a mooncrest necklace.She dressed her self up in a pink silhouette gown which perfectly hugging her shape .

She have a place to visit today .She finally left her room and headed to the royal dinning hall with two maids behind her .

"Look at our beautiful princess,where have you been hiding all this days"Adrien smirked playfully as he watched Ariane step into the dinning hall.Araine bit her lips,refraining her self from speaking this guy is a serious pain in the ass.

"Why is everyone not here"Ariane asked as she can't find any of the royal family in the hall.Adrien smirked"You woke up pretty late,everyone already had their breakfast…..Come ,come ,join me,I waited for you .Can't you see, am a good brother in law"Adrien said waving her over,Araine rolled her eyes.He is atleast the only one who was nice to her in the palace.

He drew out a chair for her but she refused to sit.He rolled his eyes"Come on,am not going to bite you"Araine clicked her tongue .Such a talkative .

"I won't let your fiancée have something against me "she pulled out another chair and sat down ,Adrien rolled his eyes ."like you care".A small smile graced her lips before disappearing again.Ofcourse she never cared ,she also dislike the princess .

He also sat down,A maid quickly rushed over and serve both of them.

They both silently ate.

"I want you to be careful"Adrien said ,his eyes trained on her.Ariane paused,her fork digging into her streak .

"Why"She asked suspiciously.She could tell from his facial expression that he was dead serious .

A soft chuckle erupted form his lips as he watched her suspicious look .Ariane rolled her eyes and hissed ,she even thought he was serious.

"Look at you ,You need to see your face looking all suspicious.Are you scared?"He said,laughing.His hand covering his mouth to mute his laughter.

"Ofcourse not"She silently cut her streak then put it inside her mouth,Adrien stared at her for a spilt second "But am dead serious"He then dipped his spoon into the soup,scooping some out then took a slow sip.A dangerous glint flashed through his eyes ,he really hope she take him seriously.

"Yeah,Ofcourse you are"She rolled her eyes sarcastically.Then ignored him .The breakfast continued silently as only the sound of cutleries hitting the plate could be heard .
