Caspian was stuck. He was stuck playing charades while knowing fully well that he would never be the woman Asher desired.

He got out of the shower and dried up with a towel, staring at his puffy eyes in the mirror, what was wrong with him? Why did everything that happened only serve to make him more emotional?

His eyes trailed down to his neck, a furrow between his brows at the unfamiliar trail of red marks.

He blushed down to his pale chest as he figured out what they were, picturing Asher leaving them. It kind of explained why he woke up desperate-

Caspian's heart fell out of his chest at that moment. What if- Had Asher stopped halfway because he found out his gender?

He went pale, unable to shake off the feeling of foreboding that weighed heavily on him. B-But... Wouldn't Asher wake him up if that had happened? Was he just jumping to conclusions?
