By the morning Davian was supposed to leave, Lake had given up on pestering the Alpha. Packing up bags to spend the rest of the week with Caspian helped with that.

It had been almost two months since Davian asked him to live in the mansion, and since then, he hadn't gone a day without seeing the Alpha. Lake didn't realize how dependent he had become until Davian was driving him over to Caspian's home.
