Chapter 12 I need a job
Later that night Han Jing prepared dinner and yaoyao and Anlan came down to the dinning for dinner
"yay it's my favorite food... Peking roast chicken"yaoya said
"I prepared it specifically for you"Han Jing said
"Thanks you're the best"Yaoyao said and kissed Han Jing on the cheek
"well I feel jealous now first you praised her for her great cooking and now you call her the best it seems like yaoyao has found a new mum"Anlan said jokingly
"Even if I call her the best she can't take my mum's place it's special"Yaoyao said
"Awwn I love you baby"Anlan said and hugged yaoyao
"i love you too mummy"yaoyao replied
"Okay enough of that you can now eat"Han Jing jokingly and Anlan giggled and started eating
"Mum can I ask a question?"Yaoyao said and Anlan looked up
"yes"Anlan said
"it's been six months since I heard and received gifts from Aunt Leslie hope she's alright?"yaoyao asked and Anlan almost choked on her food but Han Jing gave her water immediately
"thanks"Anlan said after taking the water
"Are you alright did I say something wrong?"Yaoyao asked
"no I was not concentrated that's why?... well Aunt Leslie is alright she has been busy lately she she couldn't send gifts to you but she promised to send them once she's done with work"Anlan explained and smiled
"Okay I just wanted to know if she was alright"yaoyao said and returned to eating her food unaware of what was going on after dinner Anlan sat in the sitting room with yaoyao as they both watched TV together when a knock cane
"yaoyao go check who it is"Anlan said
"argh..does it have to be me"Yaoyao said as she walked to the door when she opened it a smile appeared on her face
"Mum it's uncle Chengxiao"Yaoyao said from the door
"Oh... I'll be there"Anlan said and walked to the door
"Hey..Cheng you came"Anlan said smiling
"Yes I promised to be here so I'm here"Cheng said and smiled
"Mum can unlce Cheng come with us to the amusement park"Yaoyao asked
"Yaoyao uncle Cheng is busy and can't be able to come for those silly things"Anlan said and patted yaoyao's hair gently
"It's okay if she wants me to come then I will"Chengxiao said and smiled
"Thank you Uncle"Yaoyao said and ran in
"You see you don't have to come if you don't want to"Anlan said with a low voice
"You see I and yaoyao have become close friends since you travelled she would come to my apartment if Han Jing isn't home so I don't see anything wrong in coming"Cheng said and smiled
"Thanks for taking care of her"Anlan said and sighed"I was so worried about her when I was there if I had known that you were also there for I wouldn't have been so worried"Anlan said
"It's okay you don't have to thank me.. it was stressful but yet fun... you have a very great daughter right there"Cheng said
"I know.. and I'm proud of that"Anlan said and they both laughed
"Okay see you later"Cheng said and waved to Anlan as he left and Anlan returned inside
"Hmm I think someone is in love"Han jing sang playfully
"What do you mean?"Anlan asked confused
"You don't have to pretend... don't tell me that you don't notice how affectionate Cheng is whenever he's with you?"Han jing said
"We're only friends I don't care what you notice"Anlan said and sat on the couch
"Don't tell me that you don't plan of falling in love and finding your prince charming"Han jing asked with a serious look
"I need a job"Anlan said pretending not to hear Han Jing funny words
