Chapter 114 Accept her?
Lijing sat among her friends who had invited her over for dinner to help her clear out her mind . They were worried about her , for few days she had refused to step out of the house it even attend to any of her sponsors who needed her for work which was unlike of her. She was known for her vivacious personality and love for the outside world. Her friends where just worried as why she had refused to step out since she arrived .
"Lijing that's enough okay?"Chun Hua said and took the bottle of alcohol from Lijings hand and dropped it far away from her.
"No it isn't enough.. didn't you girls bring me here then why are you stopping me?"Lijing asked soberly with her eyes slightly closed.
"Yes we brought you here but it's to clear off your mind not to get drunk with your burdens"Chun Hua explained worriedly, Lijing hasn't told them anything since she got to live with the Scott Family but she still felt something was off with her refusal to come out for the past few days.
"Hmm there's nothing to clear off just hand the bottle over"Lijing said waving her hands around.
"Do you think I'll give it back stop being silly and stay calm"Chun Hua said angrily
"Lijing how is your marriage preparation with the Second Master going?" Su Qiao said trying not to let the two girls pick up a fight but Lijing burst out laughing hysterically.
"Marriage preparations? There's none"Lijing replied casually and closed her eyes placing her head on the chair.
"What do you mean by there's none"Su Qiao asked confused, what does Lijing mean by there was no preparation when she has been with them for over two weeks.
"The Second Master hasn't said anything about it..he says he needs time with the way things are going I don't think he will accept"Lijing explained with her eyes still closed
"So you're saying that there's a possibility that he won't accept?"Chun Hua asked, she wasn't surprised that the Second Master was going to refuse at least the stories she heard about him weren't fake.
"Hmm"Lijing replied and sighed she was getting worried about all this if the Second Master was to refuse she wasn't going to have anywhere to go.
"But your father is going to chase you out of the house if you don't end up getting married tho him"Su Qiao said with a queasy expression written all over her.
"Even if it ends up bad at least you still can turn to Zichen.. he'll be ready to accept you "Su Qiao said with her eyes fixed on Lijing for a reply or thought but Chun Hua burst into laughter .
"Accept her? He's never going to do that Zichen has completely forgotten about her... the last time I called him and told him that you were taking the wrong path accepting Old Madam Scott offer and that he was the only person that could keep you in the right path and that you need him by your side"Chun Hua said
"So why do you think he won't accept me?" Lijing asked, though she knew that she had left Zichen she still had hope that he still loved her and at least would come to help her when she needed him.
"He told me that ever since you chose that path you stopped being his concern and that he will never try to be there for you ever again"Chun Hua said with her cold eyes fixed on Liking, she remembered when she had warned Lijing not to listen to her father and just be with Zichen who truly loved her but she refused and now Zichen had given up on her.
"Chun Hua ..why are you saying all this"Su Qiao asked angrily and held Liking who held her chest gasping for air, her chest tightened like there was some big hands crushing it from the inside.
"I'm saying all this because I warned her not to trade true love for her father's fake love..I warned her not to leave Zichen and take his love for granted but she bluntly refused and now the Second Master who she chases after isn't even saying anything about it...if your father ends up throwing you out of the house I won't accept you into mine"Chun Hua spat out angrily, and left.

Tears welled up in Anlan's eyes as she glanced at Yaoyao , she had been worried sick about her and seeing her now made her happy she was happy that Yaoyao was saved but after seeing her now she was ashamed to look at her her, how would Yaoyao feel if she finds out that her mum was arrested for murder?
