The gray SUV stopped in the parking lot it had already stopped into two times before. The couple inside stepped into the hospital it had been built for, the biggest one in the city, and met up with the impatient woman waiting for them in the large lobby.
It was understandable, however, as everyone else would be just as impatient as Lune Softsnow, if not more, what with the end approaching, and the long awaited hope about to be realized. It was the moment when fear was at its greatest in the heart, feeding on restlessness and nervousness.
"Evelyn!"
The greeting was more an exclamation out of relief than a casual one. Lune looked like she was about to jump on her daughter, cradle her and pull her upstairs to go through the procedure of bone marrow donation as fast as possible. Her heart was racing so fast that her tired face was blushing, and her eyes were brightly shining.
"Mrs Softsnow."
