Time To Train

Constantine, Kento, Jane, Shift, and Darryl stood in the training room of their new Silvermoon base, facing Damien. The atmosphere was tense; everyone was calm except for Constantine, who was visibly nervous.

Jane noticed his unease. "What's wrong, Constantine?" she asked.

He sighed. "Words won't be enough to capture it. You'll find out soon."

Damien stepped forward. "I'll be direct. You need to get stronger and train harder if you want to take on opponents like the Jester or anyone stronger. And I'll help you do that." he added with a smirk.

Darryl bristled. "We're peers, Damien. You have no business training me."

Damien's expression remained stern. "Darryl, you've let yourself stagnate because of Marcus' ideals. Now that you've taken a Covenant against the Jester, you have no choice but to ascend the Paths of Power."

Shift shifted uncomfortably. "But I'm a non-combatant."

Damien's gaze was firm. "That won't always be an option."
