Christy returned to her dorm when she had nothing meaningful to do....Her mind kept thinking about the stranger she met.
What was it about him that makes her heart coil???
"You're back?,and early..... that's new"Tang Yan said...she was surprised to see Christy this early.
Normally she was always the first one to return to the dorm after lectures, because she has no friends,no extra curricular activities to do,and nothing to keep her busy...just her and her books
Tang Yan is a Chinese-American that enrolled into the same school with Christy and Anna...her first year in the school was nothing to write home about,she was always bullied because of her nerdy nature.
Her roommate usually made mockery of her...Tang Yan has always rebuffed whoever insulted her nerdy lifestyle in highschool,but she just doesn't seem to have the whims to do it in college....
They were people more meaner than the bullies in highschool...
Tang Yan was being bullied by her roommate one sunny afternoon....They took all her dresses and textbooks outside and poured egg yolks on them...as if that wasn't enough,they made a live video of it her while they were bathing her with egg yolks and captioned it"#Eggy-Nerd"
She has never felt this humiliated in her life before...She wrote several Petition to the principal to change her roommate to no avail
They always gave her the same story"You can only change your roommates when someone decides to accept you in their dorm..the dorms are full and there's nothing we can do"
She hated getting those replies....it was during her call with her town friend complaining about how her roommate where treating her that she came across Christy
"Correct me if I'm wrong,but did I just hear you say you need a dorm"
Tang Yan didn't know who this female is,but if she had a spare dorm to offer,she'd take it,"Yes,do you have one?"
"Actually I have a spare bed in my dorm..wanna crash with us?"...And right there Christy smiled her...she was the first person that has smiled at her in college....Tang Yan accepted the free space,and that was how they became friends

"Yes,Our lectures ended early"Christy said after tossing her bag on her bed
"Anna has been absent lately....I guess her few minutes of Fame is getting into her head"Tang Yan chuckled
"Shuuusssshh,don't let her hear you"Christy said,and they both laughed.
Anna barged into the room....the way she opened the door nearly gave both Christy and Tang Yan an heart attack..
"Bingo!....I just found a way to increase our popularity"She screeched
"You should have at least open the door gently,I nearly had an heart attack"Christy said with her hand on her chest
"Actually,we don't fancy popularity and Fame Anna"Tang Yan said while adjusting her glasses
Anna gave her a sidelook"Actually,you do Tang Yan"She handed them a sheet of paper
"What is this"Tang Yan asked
"That in your hands,is our key to fame"Anna replied
"I don't understand"Christy said confused
"Its the school live concert.... Likes of different celebrities will be there....And take a look at this"She gestured them to a particular paragraph in the paper"There is an open spot in all categories.. before you ask any questions...I signed you guys up in different categories,Christy i signed you up for the female lead in the drama group..Tang Yan I signed you up for the arithmetic competition,but don't worry you don't need to thank me"She applauded herself amidst her laughter
"You must be joking right?"Christy asked in bewilderment
"Nope I'm fucking serious"Anna smiled sheepishly
"But....."
"Pah,pah,pah, pah.."Anna raised her up to stop Christy from saying anything "Before you say anything just know we need to be at the Art hall like right now"
"What do you mean right now?....the news is so sudden"Christy said in awe
"Yes,I know... but you can't get famous on your beds" she taunted them"Come on let's go"She dragged both of them out forcefully...
"This is gonna be my breaking point to fame,I can totally feel it..."Anna thought
THE ART HALL
Anna was right...This concert was gonna be big and it would bring alot of popularity to them.. Christy thought
"So what do you think?,Like what you see?"Anna invaded her thoughts
"Its nice...very nice"Christy admitted
"Of course I'd know you'd like it"She giggled
"Tang Yan,why don't you go check out the arithmetic group"Anna said to Tang Yan.."But if you don't like,you can quickly opt out"
"Sure...,Bye"She waved at them and left
Christy was just staring at the hall in bewilderment....this is estactic.
She never knew that the hall could be this busy. "So where is the drama group?"She asked
"Oohhh,it's right over there... let's go"Anna took her hand and they went to the drama department
On getting there,Anna called out the attention of the drama leader and told him about Christy and how she signed her up for the female lead
"Oohhhh,is she the girl?"Leader asked with his face full of disgust.
Anna and Christy could read in between the lines that Christy wasn't the kind of girl that the coach needed,but either way she has enrolled Christy in and she wasn't going to sign her out.
