Corner Encounter Love

"Even if it's an order from the Boss, with just this tiny clue, where should I start?"

At first glance, Doppio appeared completely young.

He walked with a furrowed brow.

Unaware passersby might think this child was worrying about school exams.

Suddenly, a pinkish weird face silently appeared on Doppio's forehead, softly uttering two words.

"Polpo, factory."

"Right, let's go take a look at Mr. Polpo's factory first!"

As if a flash of inspiration had struck, Doppio's eyes brightened.

The pinkish weird face showed a satisfied smile before disappearing in an instant.

Having made up his mind, Doppio stopped a taxi and headed straight to the factory under Polpo's jurisdiction.

On the way, the driver couldn't help but kindly remind him, "Kid, it's not very safe over there. There seems to be gang members lurking around. You must be careful."

Doppio smiled but didn't respond.

Gang members?

He himself was a gang member!  And not just any member, but one of the Boss's most trusted men!

Silence prevailed throughout the journey.

Doppio soon arrived at the abandoned factory.

After paying the fare, he walked straight into the factory. The smell of blood and decay instantly filled his nostrils, making him nearly gag.

"What's this?"

Doppio's legs went weak, and he sat down on the ground, trembling all over.

Suddenly, he remembered something and muttered to himself as he took off his shoes, "Right, I need to inform the Boss about the situation here as soon as possible!"

"Mumble, mumble, mumble, mumble, mumble!"

If there were bystanders present, they would surely be utterly puzzled by everything they saw.

Doppio pressed his shoe against his face like a telephone with a serious face. "Hey hey hey, Boss, are you there? It's me, Doppio."

The pinkish weird face appeared again, responding very smoothly.

"Doppio, my most trusted man, I'm always here."

"Boss, something big happened. Polpo and the others have been killed!"

Doppio said dreadfully.

The pinkish weird face solemnly comforted, "Don't panic, my Doppio, take your time to explain."

"Hoo~"

Doppio breathed heavily.

After tens of seconds, he calmed down a bit and said slowly, "Boss, I found many bodies in Mr. Polpo's factory. They all seem to have died from beatings and..."

Doppio hesitated.

"Gunshots..."

"That's right, it's indeed a serious situation."

"Doppio, please carefully inspect the surroundings for any clues left by the enemy. If there are none, you can start investigating the whereabouts of the three suspects I mentioned. Remember, they have foreign faces."

The expression on the pinkish weird face was extremely indifferent. "Once you find them, be sure to call me."

"I understand, Boss."

It was quite miraculous how, the pinkish weird face managed to calm Doppio down with just a few words.

Putting his shoes back on, the somewhat timid boy returned.

Suppressing his discomfort, Doppio searched every corner of the factory.

He saw Polpo, whose entire body had no intact skin, saw Illuso with a wound on his chest, saw Proscioutto with a fractured skull, and saw Risotto Nero with a bullet hole in his forehead.   Tragic.

Too tragic! Doppio could hardly imagine what kind of demon would commit such inhumane acts.

After a thorough search yielded no useful clues, the boy breathed a sigh of relief and fled from the factory as if flying.

It was midday, and the sunshine was bright and beautiful.

Doppio couldn't help but feel as if he had stepped into another world.

Pushing aside those nauseating scenes, he shook his head vigorously.

"This won't do, Doppio. You're the Boss's most trusted subordinate. How can you be scared by such a trivial matter? It's just some corpses!"

Children should act like children, and gangsters should look like gangsters.

Convincing himself as a mature gang member, Doppio decided to forget everything that had just happened and go rest at a restaurant.

Naples was a city with breathtaking scenery. Walking on the streets, Doppio's young and innocent face made him indistinguishable from any ordinary teenager.

No one would guess that this child was a member of the notorious Passione.

"The weather is really nice."

Doppio looked up at the clouds in the sky and happily thought, "If I can complete the task assigned by the Boss, he'll surely praise me."

Just thinking about this made Doppio smile.

At that moment, three towering figures suddenly emerged from a street corner and collided head-on with Doppio.

"Kid, watch where you're going!" The silver-haired man in a sleeveless vest click his tongue. "Be more careful in the future."

"Ah, okay."

Doppio subconsciously replied.

After a few seconds of being stunned, he suddenly reacted.

Foreigners!

"You're the one who should watch where you're going, Polnareff."

The brown-skinned man in an orange robe frowned and mercilessly exposed his companion.

"Shut it!"

The silver-haired man blushed, turned his head away as if sulking.

Doppio was dumbfounded.

What a coincidence! He had been worrying about how to find three foreigners in the densely populated Naples, and they just showed up like that?

What he didn't know was that there was someone on the other side equally dumbfounded.

"It's true that Stand Users are drawn to each other. If I had known I could just stroll around the streets and bump into you, why did I bother with telegrams and emails for so long!"

Feeling miserable, almost wanting to cry.

Jon's face showed no emotion, but he was conflicted deep down.

Others might not know, but how could he not know?

The little kid in front of him was none other than the owner of the Arrow, and the real boss of the Passione—Diavolo! As a JoJo fan, Jon knew Diavolo inside out.

He wasn't just socially awkward; he was also a severe identity disorder patient. Every time he switched to the personality of "Doppio," Diavolo would undergo a completely unreasonable change in physique and appearance, becoming a completely different person.

No need to think about it. Diavolo must have personally intervened because of the consecutive incidents involving Polpo and the others, wanting to investigate the enemy's strengths and weaknesses.

Isn't this a coincidence! I want your life, and you want mine too.

We both have a bright future ahead!

Jon smiled faintly.

"Alright, Polnareff, let's not argue with a kid."

With that, he leaned forward slightly and spoke softly, "Little friend, it was our fault just now. As an apology, big brother wants to treat you to lunch. Is that okay?"

"Agree!"

A voice rang out in Doppio's mind.

Blinking, he nodded, "Then thank you very much, foreign big brother."

"No problem, this encounter must be fate."

Staring at Doppio's innocent face, Jon showed an extremely friendly smile.
