Secondary Evolution

One could say that Jon's actions were perceived as extremely malicious by ordinary people.

We typically use such terms to describe it: lawless!

Before long, the police from Naples arrived upon hearing the news.

Jon didn't resist, calmly got into the police car, and went with them.

Upon arrival at the police station, he proudly declared his identity.

When the police learned that the "culprit" before them was actually the heir to one of the world's top conglomerates, their attitudes suddenly underwent some changes.

Jon remained unfazed, truthfully recounting the "facts."

"My name is Jon Joestar. The deceased is Diavolo, the notorious boss behind the Passione. You should be familiar with the Passione, right? My friend and I were on vacation in Naples and ended up being targeted by this gang. I had no choice but to fight back, and as a result, I accidentally—"

Accidentally?

Yeah, right!

The police stared straight at Jon, as if listening to a fairy tale.

Jon didn't care, smiling, "Anyway, that's the situation. I've said what I needed to say. Next, I'll have my lawyer handle everything."

There was no need to ask, just know that the Speedwagon Foundation was awesome, and it operated worldwide!

A few hours later, Jon walked out of the police station unscathed, escorted by the chief of the Naples police.

"Mr. Joestar, feel free to come back here anytime. Of course, I'm not talking about the police station, but Naples."

The mustached chief smiled ingratiatingly.

"We have beautiful scenery and pleasant weather here. If you have the chance, we can have dinner together, hahaha."

"If the opportunities arise."

Jon showed a polite yet slightly distant smile and left with his lawyer.

After walking a distance, the lawyer spoke, "Mr. Joestar, I'll take my leave first."

He was busy and planned to leave after getting Jon out of trouble.

Jon nodded in gratitude.

As soon as the lawyer from the Speedwagon Foundation left, Polnareff and Avdol hurried over.

"Jon, are you okay!"

Hearing that Jon had been taken to the police station, the two were quite alarmed.

Jon shook his head, "I'm fine."

Looking at the two, he changed the subject.

"What about you? Did you find the Arrow?"

At his words, Avdol took out an arrow that looked quite ancient from his bag.

Jon was overjoyed and quickly took it.

As soon as he held it, an indescribable warmth surged into his body.

Suppressing the urge to take in this energy, he handed the Arrow back to Avdol.

"This isn't the place to talk. Let's head back to the hotel first."

After eating some food and returning to the room, the three recounted what had happened after they separated.

Jon didn't have much to say.

Summing up his battle with Diavolo, it was just one sentence, "First deceive, then ora!"

Polnareff and Avdol's experiences, on the other hand, were much more exciting.

It took them a lot of effort to find the uniquely shaped dolphin billboard. Following the clues provided by Jon, they went to the opposite building and, after thorough investigation, finally located the construction company where Diavolo was hiding.

And that was not all; Diavolo, who was extremely cautious, had actually set up many traps in his office.

Fortunately, Polnareff and Avdol were not ordinary people. Relying on the power of their Stands, they passed the test safely and retrieved the Arrow smoothly.

Jon raised an eyebrow as he listened.

If this scene were made into a movie, it would definitely make a lot of money.

Getting back on topic, Jon asked Avdol for the Arrow.

As soon as he held it, his Stand responded with the urge to take the Arrow in.

Jon remained unchanged and said, "Since the purpose of this trip has been achieved, what are your plans next?"

"What else can we do? Go back home."

Polnareff rested his arms behind his head, casually saying, "After wandering around for so long, it's time to go home and take a look."

Avdol expressed the same sentiment.

"Diavolo is dead, the Arrow is successfully recovered, I also want to return to Kairo and continue my fortune-telling."

After a pause, he added, "Of course, if you find out the whereabouts of other Arrows, be sure to inform me."

"And me!" Polnareff slapped his chest, "I'll go through fire and water to help you!"

"No problem."

Jon nodded, not refusing their kindness.

At home, rely on your parents; outside, rely on friends. If you can form a team, never go solo!

After chatting for a while, the two returned to their respective rooms, leaving Jon alone to contemplate with the Arrow.

He then summoned his Stand.

A transparent door, about two meters high, engraved with the images of angels and demons, quietly appeared.

Jon exhaled and muttered to himself, "Let's begin."

With those words, he no longer suppressed the instinct to absorb the Arrow.

"Creak..."

The door swung wide open, and Jon inexplicably heard a sound similar to a wooden door opening in his mind.

A whirlwind!

Countless transparent threads suddenly protruded from the 'door,' tightly entwining around the Arrow.

In an instant, Jon felt as if he soaked himself in warm water, feeling so comfortable that he wanted to moan.

This process lasted for several minutes, and finally, the evolution was completed!

The Arrow, which originally exuded an ancient charm, lost its spirituality and became nothing more than a junk.

Jon stretched his neck and looked up at his Stand, which had completed its second evolution.

Firstly, the appearance of the Stand changed.

Although it still resembled a door, its height and width had more than doubled from before.

Secondly, the engravings of angels and demons on the door's surface disappeared.

In their place was a lush tree, with each forked branch holding a cluster of nebulae.

Jon realized.

The nebulae represent the world!

Not only did the appearance change, but the abilities of the 'Door' were also enhanced compared to before.

Ability 1: Control all 'door' concepts-related things within a radius of five hundred meters. It can also open invisible doors at any location to enter the 'Inner World.'

Ability 2: Establish a personal space of one hundred cubic meters in the 'Inner World.'

In simple terms, the newly added ability gave Jon the power to store items at will.

Although it didn't help much in combat, it was an indispensable tool for adventures.

In any case, Jon was very satisfied.

"I still have four 'arrows' left, which means my Stand still has four evolution opportunities."

Rubbing his smooth chin, he thought to himself.

However, there was no rush at the moment.

With the transformation complete, the 'Door' no longer showed a desire for consumption, probably due to an 'Evolution cooldown' period.

After contemplating for a long time,

Jon made up his mind.

A thousand words can't compare to actual strength.

Rather than waiting for the 'Door' to reveal its Evolution desires again, it was better to go to other worlds to build more strength.

It was time to embark on a new adventure!
