Chapter 86

That same night, while everyone was probably asleep, Ida was standing in front of Cody's room, knocking, knocking, and knocking.

But he never got answered.

He knew Cody could hear him knocking; he had even called out his name a few times so he was sure that Cody knew he was the one, yet he refused to respond.

Ida felt lost.

Was Cody really done with him this time? He stared at the door tiredly and sighed. It'd been a long and stressful day; all he wanted was to share a bed with Cody. His arms around him would have brought him immense peace and pleasure.

"Goodnight, Cody," Ida wished quietly and walked away from the door.

His room was on the next floor, so he entered the elevator to go up to his room; it wasn't long before he reached. Disheartened, he walked toward his door which was the fourth door by the right, and unlocked it, stepping into it with a dejected feeling.
