All members of the newly made 71st Exploration Unit were sitting inside a VToL dropship. Ray, Clymene, Katarina, and Sajjad are on one side while everyone else is on the other. There was a rectangular table in the middle with a screen fitted on top. The screen was showing an aerial view of a big nest in the middle of the wastelands.

Sakura said, her voice still as emotionless as ever, "Everyone, pay attention, please."

Everyone looked at Sakura with attentive eyes.

Sakura continued, "Look at the screen. This nest has formed just a few kilometres away from the humanity border."

Megan made a weird face and said, "Urgh. I can tell just by looking at it that it's a manor class nest at minimum."

Clymene said, her voice filled with concern, "It could be bigger."

"That's what we're going to find out," said Ray.
