Reina's lips curved into a wider smile as she stared at the image. Her friend's chatter was a distant hum, their presence almost forgotten. Her thoughts were consumed by Ray, and Ray only. Each second she gazed at the photo, her feelings for Ray are blooming and deepened. She felt her heart swell with an overwhelming mix of love and obsession.
"He's so fucking perfect." Reina whispered to herself, her eyes never leaving the screen.
"Absolutely perfect." She added.
Unbeknownst to her friends, a storm of emotions brewed within Reina. Her desire for Ray was more than just a fleeting crush, it was an all-consuming fire. She knew, deep in her heart, that Ray was the one for her.
The thought of anyone else having him was unbearable. He belonged to her, and only her.
Her mind raced with thoughts of their future together. She envisioned a life where they were inseparable, where Ray was her side every triumph and trial. She imagined their wedding, their shared moments, and the unbreakable bond she would forge with him.
"I will marry you, Ray-kun." She promised herself.
"Whether you like it or not, you will be mine." She added thus a silent vow formed in her mind.
Her friends, oblivious to the intensity of her thoughts, continued their conversation, occasionally glancing at Reina and wondering what had her so captivated. But Reina was lost in her own world, a world where Ray was the center of her universe.
As the sun began its descent, casting a warm, amber glow over the pool, Reina finally looked up from her phone. Her smile was serene, yet there was a glint of determination in her eyes. She would stop at nothing to make Ray hers, and nothing would deter her from claiming the man she loved.
Hiro, curious at something and who had been watching Reina intently, finally spoke up.
"Reina-chan, can I ask something? Hiro asked, his mind and heart want to know something.
Reina looked up, slightly surprised.
"Sure, Hiro-kun, what's up?" Reina responded.
Hiro hesitated for a moment...
"Why are you attached with this Ray guy? I mean, what is it about him that makes you feel this way?" But Hiro asked.
"Is there something special about him that I haven't go-err that makes you feel so easy and comfortable with him?" He added, there was a slight jealousy in his eyes.
The group fell silent, curious about Reina's response. Reina's expression softened as she looked at Hiro, a hint of smile playing on her lips.
"Ray-kun is...different. He's strong, tall, devilishly handsome, and he has this intensity that just draws me in. When I'm with him, I feel like I'm the safest and secured person on Earth, and I feel like I can be true to myself, and he doesn't judge me for it." Reina answered with her heart poured.
Hiro nodded slowly, trying to understand and keep off his jealousy from his heart.
"But what if he doesn't feel the same way? What if he doesn't see you the way you see him?" Hiro said.
Reina's eyes darkened slightly, her smile turning a bit more possessive.
"He will, I'll make sure of it. Ray is meant to be with me, and I'll do whatever it takes to make him realize that." Reina uttered.
Hiro swallowed hard, a feeling mix of defeat, jealousy, and unease.
"Just be careful, Reina-chan. Sometimes, people can surprise you, and not always in good way." Hiro warned Reina.
"If he doesn't love you the way I-" Hiro tried to continue but Reina suddenly interrupted him.
"I appreciate your concern, Hiro-kun. Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Reina said confidently.
"Do you really know what you're doing? I mean, come on you barely know the guy?" Hiro pressed on. He didn't accept defeat.
Reina looked at Hiro again, her expression frowned.
"It's not about how long I've known him. It's about the connection I feel with him. Ray-kun is different from anyone else, including you." Reina argued.
"But what if he's not what you think he is? What if he's just putting a facade? People can be deceiving." Hiro argued back, his brows furrowed and a hint of jealousy crept on his voice again.
"Ray-kun is genuine. I've seen it the way he carries himself. As I said, he's not like anyone else, he's unique." Reina's tone becoming defensive and her eyes narrowed.
Hiro shook his head, his frustration is evident.
"Reina-chan, I just don't want you to get hurt. You're throwing yourself at him easily, and you barely know the guy." Hiro said, his voice showed persistence.
"I know enough to understand that Ray-kun is someone special. You don't see what I see, Hiro-kun." Reina said, her voice grew firm and loud.
Kaito, sensing the tension, decided to step in.
"Come on guys. Let's not turn this into argument. We're here to have a good time." Kaito happily uttered, hoping to ease the tension.
Yumi, Sora, and the other girl exchanged glances, their expression reflecting a mix of curiosity and concern.
"I'm just saying, Reina-chan, you deserve someone who truly knows you, like me. Who appreciates you for who you are. Not some...guy you just met a few days ago." Hiro, however, wasn't ready to let it go.
Reina's expression softened again, and she reached out to place a hand on Hiro's arm.
"I appreciate your concern, Hiro-kun. I really do. But I need to follow my heart on this. Ray-kun means a lot to me." Reina said, her voice soft and gentle.
Hiro sighed, a mixture of jealousy and protectiveness in his eyes.
"Just promise me you'll be careful, okay? I don't want to see you get hurt. Because if he hurt you, I swear to God, I'll k-" But Hiro was abruptly interrupted again by Reina.
"I promise, Hiro-kun. I know what I'm doing." Reina promised, a smile on her face.
Kaito, trying to lighten the mood, splashed water at Hiro.
"Come on, boy. Let's not dwell on this anymore." Kaito teased Hiro.
Hiro managed a smile, though his thoughts were still on Reina and remained trouble.
