The shadow in the Lab

Dr. Kim and I continued to analyze the code, uncovering more clues and piecing together the puzzle of my past. But as we worked, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched.

At first, I thought it was just my imagination. But then, I started to notice strange things. Equipment would malfunction, and strange noises echoed through the lab at night.

One evening, as we were packing up to leave, I saw a shadowy figure lurking in the corner of the lab. It was tall and imposing, and it seemed to be watching us.

"Dr. Kim, do you see that?" I whispered, nudging her towards the figure.

But when she turned to look, it was gone.

"Kael, you're just tired," she said, patting me on the back. "Let's get some rest. We can continue in the morning."

But I knew what I saw. And I knew that we were in danger.

As we left the lab, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being followed. I glanced over my shoulder, but there was no one there.

"Dr. Kim, I think we should be careful," I said, my voice low. "I think someone is watching us."

She looked at me with a concerned expression. "Kael, let's just focus on the research. We'll get to the bottom of this mystery soon."

But I knew that we were running out of time. And I knew that we had to uncover the truth before it was too late.

As we walked out of the lab, I felt a chill run down my spine. I knew that we were being hunted. And I knew that our only hope was to uncover the secrets of my DNA before our pursuers caught up with us.
