OBSESSION
"Mom? "
"I was wondering why you were late today. Who is she? "
"She's my classmate"
"And? " Ahhhh she's pissed.
"Well she didn't come to school today and I saw her there so I told her what happened in school today. "
"Oh. Why didn't you tell me your friend live in the same complex as our's? "
"I'm I found out last night. When you sent me upstairs to tell them not to make noise. "
"I see. Go to your room and study. "
"I'll prepare dinner for you in 30 minutes. Study till then. "
"Ok.... Mom"
My mom is a Professor at S university. She teaches English. She's smart and she wants me to be a son she can be proud of. She was happy whenever I was the top of my class.
That's not much for a parent to ask. That's what I thought when I was little.
As I grew older It felt like rather than happy she was obsessed , obsessed with me being on top . She started abusing me when I was in 5th grade and came in 3rd place and when I lost the race on sports day. After that she started controlling my actions, my friendships and other things.
"I should just do as she says.... That's the only way I'll be alright. "
"Come , dinner's ready "

[The next day]

"Hi Yeri, why didn't you come yesterday
We all missed you so much. "

There she goes again, smiling like that as if nothing happened. Lim Yeri I really envy you.

It was as if she was telling me not to worry, that she's alright, that everything is fine.
How is she so joyful. I wonder... What gives her the strength.
"Sam? Is there something you wanna ask? (Smile) " He's been staring at me ever since I got here.

She really is incredible.

She looked so excited that I didn't want to turn her down.

Oh he's back to being cold . Yesterday he was talking so nicely that I forgot how cold he is.
" Would you like to come with us? " Lizzie asked which was so unlike her.
I looked at sam and he looked uncomfortable.

"Oh Lizzie sam goes to a academy after school I don't think he can go. "
"Well today's off. I think I can make it. "
Oh that was unexpected. The face he was making I thought he wouldn't come. Well it's a good thing I'll get to know him better.
