Chapter 12.- Hammer or Umbrella or something else all together

siggle....siggle ...si si si....

It sounded like a hot iron is dipped in the cold water.

{I think heat is way too strong for the thorn it is not going to make it}

"What, really...what should I do?" Asked Vail hurriedly.

{you can add some cold inducing ingredients or the frost pearl that could take down the temperature but I don't know where the final result would be}

Vail immediately dumped out all his resources and treasures that he have gather till now on the ground and started to throw them in the molten lake.

{What are you doing Vail, why are you throwing so much resources}

Trinetri also shocked by Vail's behavior and start call out to snap him out of the frenzy.

"What didn't you said that some materials in the fire" Vail come out of trance and asked.

{I did say that, but I was talking about the cold inducing materials]

Trinetri feels like crying and laugh right now at vails behavior.

"I don't know Trinetri, in hurry didn't even listen your words clearly" said Vail as he stopped throwing materials, In his hand he had Tusk of the boar he last hunted.

He is going to return it in the sub space but the molten fire lake suddenly churned that startle him, and due to his carelessness the spikes on the tusk pierced through his palm.

Spike painted red due to the blood that flow out from the wound, 

Vail was already irritated at the fire pit that startled him and tusk also pierced due to his carelessness.

In frustration, he also through the Tusk in the Molten fire pit.

and turned his palm back at his wound, he was amazed to see that the wound is healing at a break neck speed.

His attention is on the palm but he don't know that the tusk melted in the pit but his blood didn't....

In the molten amalgam of different materials, the drop of blood starts to run in a very alternating pattern forming a pattern that looks like a constellation.

After travelling in a certain pattern for a long time the drop of blood lost its momentum and stopped in the middle of that pattern and condensed itself like a gem. 

{Pick up the hammer Vail or whatever you have made out of it}

"Hey now, it still looks red hot, let it cool down a little" said Vail in an uninterested manner as he is was thinking of the materials he have wasted and as it would be more troublesome if he burns himself on the top of that.

{Vail you are a cultivator now and a body cultivator at that, of don't be a wissy wassy and pick the thing already}

"Ok you don't need to be so moody, Trinetri" , has your monthly time had come or something.

"Hey why is weather changed all of a sudden", asked Vail as he looked outside of the cave.

Vail goes towards the pit and throw a bucket full of water to make the thing cool down early.

He extends the hand towards the thorn that is sticking out and pull it up with one hand.

But is didn't even budge, not even a little bit. 

Vail put both hands and exert more power and start to pull the 'thing' up.

As he was lifting it very slowly even when he exerted all his strength, he asked, "Trinetri, it looks like I may have rune the Hammer, and it is damm heavy"

{I think you need to look at the whole thing first then you could say that}

"Ohh..." Vail uttered an uncertain voice as he started to pull with an eager expression,

After the 'thing' pulled up, it didn't look like a hammer even a little bit.

Vail subconsciously used the appraisal.

{As it was made by you, the information is gathered about it in the real time, and because of that you can even appraise a second level weapon}

"Ok, I guess it is a perk as well to make something unknowingly and know about it right away"

{Well not exactly as, you don't even know that what is the exact look and type of the weapon you have made}

"Trinetri you don't need to rune my fantasy, at least let me have my time and then later you could just tell me about my discrepancy" said Vail like he is being butchered or something.

Vail looks at the weapon, it is pointy ay the top, with silver color over it, just below it, there is a metallic spherical ball like portion of about nine inches in diameter and just below it was, features of different kind with hard and metallic texture.

It is opened at the bottom end and looks like a old style Umbrella but without the handle curve.

Whole thorn is attached tightly, as he touches the handle side with his palm, he can feel a weak connection with it.

But this connection is enough to help him understand the overall way to operate the weapon.

As he will's it to open itself, the features part opens and make a circular shield with a spike in the middle of it,

He is new at handling it so he exerts more power to maintain its balance, Vail also starts to think about the different way he could use it.

"Well it is a hammer, a spike and if opened it could also be a shield, but why it looks like a Umbrella and how the hell the thorn have increased its length"

The thorn earlier have the length of about 4-5 feet, but now from top to bottom it is greaten than his own height.

"If it is in opened form then I could fight with it in the crowd as well"

{It came out quite well then expected and it is linked with your blood line so no one else could operate and handle it}

"I am not going to lie to you, I was not hoping to make a complete and useable weapon, as I was thinking about my resources that I didn't even think that this weapon have been made without even putting much efforts on my end and it is linked somehow to me, why is that exactly?"

Vail started to practice with his new weapon and get himself familiar with the way of using it.

In the shield form, it looks like a big plate is attached to the pole, if the spike in the middle and the big sphere is neglected, the whole plate have a diameter of about 2 meters.

It is an attacking weapon, defensive weapon and crowed control weapon in different forms.

"Trinetri, have I become a blacksmith" asked Vail.

{No you need to have a knowledge and have experience then you could become an novice apprentice without any rank after you need to make a specific weapon, if you thought to make a sword then result should be sword as well}

{If it is powerful enough to be ranked then you could be said a Blacksmith with rank holder}

"Well I was thinking too much then, by the way how should use the spherical boll like thingy in the 'Thorn' and I have decided to call it Thorn as I like the sound of it"

{That core that is condensed from your blood is present there and the function of increasing weight and decreasing weight also comes from the core as well}

{Ok stop these small talks, I think the memories of your previous life have started to affect you, to do such a dumb mistake like dumping materials into fire, it could have been a troublesome matter if the whole thing were to blast all over you}
