Chapter 12

STORM

It has been two weeks since Lee's confession, Storm had still not said anything about it. She had also not been able to see the man much considering they've both been busy. With her opening a new branch, it was in another country, she had to leave the following day to see everything through. Aelle would call her every day and she'd fill her in on what was happening back home. She had left Luxembourg the following day as she was needed for something in her new company. She had not stopped thinking about Lee and Aelle.

The fact that the man was looking after Aelle and the boys while she was away working warmed her heart. The past two weeks she had been gone, Lee never once failed to check on Aelle and the babies, sometimes he'd stay over with the girl when she was missing Storm or needed someone to cuddle.

Storm realized she could not ignore the feelings the man ignited in her. She sighed as she looked out the window on the Jet. She'll be landing in Clervaux soon, it has been a tiring two weeks and she could not wait to see her babies again. That list had Aelle included in it, a smile made its way on her face.

It was late night by the time Storm entered the house, it was silent so she thought everyone was already asleep. She sighed before heading to her room with her suitcase, she kept it in her closet then went to the bathroom to freshen up. Aelle was asleep in bed, Storm brushed her teeth, washed her face and stripped down to her boxers and sport bra.

When she exited the bathroom, she froze, Lee was in the room shirtless with Tristan in his arms. He was cooing softly at the baby and patting his back." Come on, buddy, go back to sleep. I know you miss Storm, we miss her too, little one, she'll be back soon." He mumbled softly.

Tristan kept whimpering softly, Storm walked over to them and placed a hand on Lee's back. The man tensed before slowly turning his head to her, he froze when their eyes met. They stood there staring at each other without uttering a word, Tristan let out a soft cry which broke their trance and Storm took him in her arms. She hummed a lullaby to him until he settled down and fell asleep.

Lee let out a breath of relief," Finally, he has been fussy lately. Aelle couldn't sleep, I had to come and help her. Poor girl was on the verge of tears with all the fussing." He informed as he watched her.

Storm turned to the sleeping form on the bed in worry, no wonder she hasn't moved a muscle since she entered the room." I'll put him back to bed, are the other two alright?"

Lee followed her out to the nursery," They were awake, Grayson was fussy too but Christian was quiet, he just couldn't sleep while his brothers were crying. We put the two to sleep before I sent Aelle off to bed while I stayed with this one."

After placing the baby back in the crib, Storm kissed them all on their foreheads and covered them with a blanket before turning to Lee. She found his eyes locked on her, they were dark with desire and that's when Storm realized that she was only in her undies. She could not bring herself to feel embarrassed or angry with him watching her. She watched him as he continued to stare, he moved over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I missed you... We all missed you, Storm." He whispered huskily.

Something about the way Lee was looking at her left Storm speechless. She could not bring herself to push him away or even stop him when he leaned closer and captured her lips in a soft kiss." Hmm." She let out a moan when his tongue entered her mouth.

Lee's hold on her tightened as he pulled her flush against him and deepened the kiss. Storm could feel his need and his love in the way he held her. The way he kissed her with so much tenderness. She was stunned at first but then she kissed him back and that earned her a groan from him. Her hands roamed his back before moving to his hair and tugged gently. He tasted so good, his muscles rippled under her touch, Storm had never felt so safe before than she felt in his arms.

He gave her one last peck before pulling back,"I've been needing to do that for years, I really was beginning to think you will never let me in." He spoke as he cupped her face. " Are you ok? I hope I did not cross the line..."

Storm shook her head, she pulled him into a hug and closed her eyes in content. " I'm fine. Just thinking why you took so long."

She felt Lee smile in her arms, " You were never easy to approach, if you weren't so closed off from everyone, we would've been married with a bunch of kids by now." He teased as they pulled back.

Storm looked up at him, she realized that his eyes were a dark brown instead of grey now. She frowned when she realized he had been wearing contact lenses. "You look familiar." She mumbled.

"That's because I am, we were in the same University together in China and you also saved my life. If it weren't for you, those goons would've killed me..." Her eyes widen in shock and she gasped as she studied him.

It was really him, just without the blood and dirt. She thought back to all the people she knew at the University and it was easy to recognize him. He had grown up from the boy he was and was  broader and taller now. "Gu Liang, you're the one I saved that night?"

The man nodded, "Yes. You have no idea how much I looked for you when I woke up. Why did you leave?"

"I had to, something had happened at home and I..." She shook her head, " I never wanted to leave you there, I was going to stay until you get better but I could not, I'm sorry."

"It's ok. I'm ok, I know you would've stayed if it wasn't important, I'm just glad I found you again. Don't leave me again, ok?" He looked into her eyes desperately.

" I won't. Let's get to bed, I'm tired and I need cuddles." Lee chuckled before scooping her in his arms and took her to bed. They slept with Aelle in the middle.

That was the best sleep Storm has ever had in two weeks.
