Chapter 3736: The Virtual-Real Spirit Realm

This time, it was Little Python's turn to lead the way instead of Lin Moyu giving directions.

Lin Moyu asked: "Little Python, what do you see?"

Little Python replied: "A ball of light, not very bright, about 10 meters in diameter."

This was from Little Python's perspective, which differed from what Lin Moyu saw.

There are many strange phenomena in the Soul Void. Soul bodies like Lin Moyu who come from the real world sometimes see things differently from virtual beasts.

Neither view can be said to be definitively correct - from their own perspectives, what they see is valid.

For example, the light Little Python saw was about 10 meters in diameter and not very bright. But because it couldn't see the dazzling collisions of Great Dao powers in the vacuum zone, this dim light appeared very inconspicuous to it.

However, what Lin Moyu saw was quite different.

Lin Moyu saw a vortex about 1000 meters in diameter, trailing a long thin tail like a worm moving through the vacuum zone.

Countless Great Dao powers merged into the vortex, causing it to display various colors.

This highlighted the difference in their perceptions.

Lin Moyu sensed a peculiar aura from the vortex - the intermingling of virtual and real. It seemed that within the vortex, reality and illusion coexisted.

"So this is the virtual-real spirit realm," Lin Moyu murmured, realizing the vortex before him was the entrance to the virtual-real spirit realm.

Little Python said softly: "Master, I sense it's very dangerous inside."

Lin Moyu replied: "Your feeling is correct, it is quite dangerous."

Little Python cautiously asked: "Are we still going in?"

Seeing its timid demeanor, it clearly didn't want to enter.

Lin Moyu couldn't help but smile: "You can stay outside and wait for me if you want."

Little Python's eyes lit up briefly, but then it shook its head vigorously: "No, Little Python must stay with Master."

Its tone was resolute, ready to face death without fear.

Lin Moyu saw right through it: "You're just afraid you'll die faster if left out here, right?"

Though exposed, Little Python's face remained thick: "No, no, Little Python truly wants to protect Master."

Lin Moyu said: "Then stop talking and let's go in."

Little Python's body trembled as it asked quietly: "Master, are you really sure you want to go in?"

"Stop wasting time, let's go!"

With Lin Moyu's stern command, Little Python finally mustered its courage and charged in with a loud cry.

As soon as they entered the vortex, Little Python's body began spinning uncontrollably, pulled deeper into the vortex by an invisible force.

Little Python panicked, wanting to cry out but unable to make a sound.

Lin Moyu remained calm, sensing the force pulling them forward.

This force came from the Great Dao, but didn't belong to any specific Great Dao. It was refined, pure Great Dao power without any impurities.

The Great Dao power was complete, different from other Great Dao powers. It had both yin and yang aspects, with the virtual and real intertwined.

Lin Moyu didn't resist, allowing the chains formed by the Great Dao power to pull him along.

After spinning for several minutes, they finally emerged from the vortex into a special space.

Lin Moyu immediately stabilized himself in midair as they entered like meteors.

Nearby, another figure crashed to the ground like a meteor, creating a crater.

Little Python lacked teleportation experience and had lost all sense of direction after spinning for minutes, unable to control itself.

Lin Moyu noticed changes in Little Python's body. As a virtual beast, it had scales but was always in a semi-transparent state, not truly real.

But now, Little Python's scales became real, looking almost indistinguishable from an actual python in the Origin Continent.

Little Python struggled out of the crater. Given its level, such an impact wasn't too damaging.

It immediately sought out Lin Moyu's position, zipping over to dutifully resume its role as his mount at his feet.

It knew very well that being Lin Moyu's mount was the safest place to be.

"Master, is this the virtual-real spirit realm?" it asked.

Lin Moyu nodded, surveying their surroundings. "Indeed, it's quite different."

The virtual-real spirit realm was filled with various Great Daos, each appearing calm unlike the constant conflicts in the outside world.

Here they were condensed but not dispersed, balanced in yin and yang. Cultivators couldn't absorb or refine them, nor gain insights from them. In other words, the Great Daos here couldn't be used for cultivation.

In the sky was a transparent barrier, beyond which strange scenes constantly appeared.

The images were blurry, seeming to show mountains, seas, and countless living beings.

After observing for a while, Lin Moyu understood what the scenes beyond the barrier represented.

They were projections of a real world. This place was called the virtual-real spirit realm because "virtual" represented the Soul Void while "real" represented the real world.

The virtual-real spirit realm was actually a space located in the crevice between the virtual world and the real world. That's why the Great Daos passing through it possessed both yin and yang aspects.

"The workings of heaven and earth, truly miraculous," Lin Moyu sighed in admiration.

If this world had a creator, the virtual-real spirit realm certainly wasn't its doing, but rather the result of the natural evolution of the Great Dao.

It was like how a creator might make an ocean, but wouldn't concern itself with each individual bubble on its surface.

Little Python suddenly asked: "Master, what are you looking at?"

"Nothing, just observing our surroundings," Lin Moyu replied.

He knew Little Python probably couldn't see the scenes beyond the barrier. It likely didn't even realize the changes to its own body, as the intermingling of virtual and real here temporarily gave it a hint of reality.

Lin Moyu sent out numerous Skeleton Generals to scout the virtual-real spirit realm, following his usual approach to exploring new domains. They would search for potential dangers and map out the overall situation.

As for himself, he remained cautious and alert, not rushing into action.

For virtual beasts, entering the virtual-real spirit realm was indeed very dangerous, as there were many things they couldn't perceive until it was too late.

But for Lin Moyu, being able to detect dangers in advance naturally reduced the risks.

The Skeleton Generals began mapping out the terrain of the virtual-real spirit realm. There were mountains and rivers, all formed by the interweaving of Great Dao powers.

The earth came from the Earth Great Dao, while the rivers came from the Water Great Dao.

But the rivers were strange, having no source. It was as if the Great Dao power suddenly evolved into rivers that simply appeared.

The land was similar, extending into the distance before suddenly ending.

The land would disappear, becoming a void, then fire would appear not far away.

The various Great Daos in the virtual-real spirit realm didn't conflict. They evolved independently, creating unique and serene landscapes.

In one area, a volcano was erupting. Directly above its crater was a large mass of water.

When the volcano erupted, the Great Dao power passed right through the water mass without any conflict, as if they didn't affect each other at all.

The usual incompatibility between water and fire had completely vanished here.

The Skeleton Generals reported back that in the distance, ice rain was falling. The falling ice chunks disappeared midair before reaching the ground, vanishing after falling only a few dozen meters.

All sorts of bizarre scenes could be witnessed here, the entire spirit realm permeated with an otherworldly beauty.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck. The earth split open, seemingly actively avoiding the lightning.

Then, a giant cloaked in lightning emerged from the crevice, roaring as it charged towards Lin Moyu.
