They seemed formless, but when I looked at them, they turned into my friends and family, using their techniques. I got angry and fought them, but found my methods were useless. I could kill a few weak ones, but not the strong ones. In the end, I forced open a passage and returned to the Origin Ancestral Land. I was lucky just injured, and after sleeping for ten thousand years, I was fine."

Eternal sleep isn't real sleep; it means merging with the Dao, resting and healing within it.

Hearing this, Lin Moyu realized the Lord of Power must have encountered Soul Devourers. He likely left this world, but not completely, which is why he could return.

An Yuyan and the Lord of Power were clearly close, their conversation casual. Lin Moyu listened and pondered the place the Lord of Power described.
