Chapter 7: Griffin’s POV A Lost Opportunity

The first thing Griffin saw was Angela's sleeping face when he opened his eyes. With her pale skin bathed in the moonlight streaming through the bedroom window, she truly did look like an angel. It glowed as though lit from within, while her thick red hair spread across her pillow like flames. One perfectly-formed breast lay half-hidden by her slender arm flung across her chest. He bent over and kissed her on the forehead.

Suddenly, he remembered the time. He jumped from the bed, rifled through his pants, and checked his phone. Crap! He was going to be late. Savannah had texted him yesterday, asking him to meet at the teahouse to sign the documents for the engagement lunch at ten o'clock that morning.
