"Hubert," Dareon's voice sprung from behind, making its way across the woody terrain of the woods. It was neither strong like a scream, nor high pitched like a cry, but one that was loud—a loud calling.
Hubert turned around, captivated by the sudden call. There, he was greeted by the sight of Dareon, fast approaching, making its way on the narrow path that got only narrower.
"Yeah?" he questioned cluelessly as he greeted.
"Why are you here?" Dareon, in turn, asked.
"I was just asking some questions to this nun," he said, turning his gaze to where the nun once stood, only to find her missing from his field of sight.
"Huh?" once confident in the nun existing and walking by his side, now confused as he thought his mind had lied to him.
Dareon looked at him in the eyes with a straight stare, focusing only for what he came for, a thing he couldn't no longer hold in him.
