Clank!
The sound was ear deafening, the smoke it produced was blinding, and the vibration it spread was skin tingling. Everybody stood behind, everybody emotional, everybody awaited for the result, the result of the fight of a sword against the cannonball.
"Wh-who won?" a watchman commented.
Soon, their thirst was clenched, and the result was pampered for the whole world to see.
"Thank Goddess," Hubert said, his eyes, clearer and much more resolute than anyone else's.
"No way…" Cassian replied in disbelief, clenching his fist hard to the point where his skin of rock crumbled down.
"Wa-wa…WATCHMEN!" yet, Jaz's shout proved him wrong, a shout that made everyone grip their swords and spears even harder than before, the shout of a rally.
As the smoke cleared, it was for everyone to see that the cannonball was split in two, cleanly and lying on the sandy ground of the beach, a step behind Jaz.
"CHARGE!"
