Hubert's Answer

House Harwards. It wasn't ancient nor strong, it wasn't dutiful nor honorable in its dealings, it wasn't as famous as others, nor was it as sly as others. The nobles of the east, as people call them, not warriors, not knights, not magicians, but merchants.

And now, the current duke of the eastern dukedom, Branbeg Harwards of House Harwards. He was anything but not a Harward; he wasn't sly like the west, nor was he strong like the north, nor was he as caring as the south.

He was a mere man, a mere noble, a mere person with the spirit of a merchant. He held no spear in his hand, nor a staff, nor a sword, but the bag of gold, his weapon.

Gold, gold, and gold, always gold.

Some might say he was greedy or too loving with his gold. But it didn't matter, to him, gold was what kept him sane, he didn't care about land or titles. But gold.
