Power of a Mutant

He swiftly retreated to the cover of the trees, his eyes fixed on the primitive gate the guards had been guarding. The gate, made from rough-hewn wood and other rudimentary materials, was narrow and limiting. The wooden fence surrounding the village only added to its primitive construction.

Leon's heart pounded as he saw multiple armed goblins emerging from the gate. They moved with urgency, their guttural commands filling the air. The size of the gate prevented the entire goblin force from emerging at once. Leon's eyes gleamed with excitement. This was his chance! If he waited for the entire goblin horde to assemble, he would be quickly overwhelmed. He wasn't yet strong enough to take down an entire army of goblins by himself.

'This is it! A chance!'

With a thrill coursing through his veins, Leon moved. His katana appeared in his hands, its blade glinting ominously in the light. A grin of anticipation spread across his face as he prepared for the battle ahead.
