Horo's talent has been known by nearly everyone within the circle of knights due to record breaking progression in the path and his famous father, the fourth ranked sacred knight. On top of that his family lineage is already well known for birthing sacred knights and being devoted to the church and gods, so most knights would have knew of even regardless of his talent.
He was also known by many other powers within and outside of the empires, as they were hoping to rope him in.
Now after being with the sword god for so long, the news has long spread across this entire side of the world.
He had had one more thing to do according to his master, and that was to go to the league of saints upon return in order to spar with their saints.
So Horo did that every now and then, which raised his fame even more.
He never lost in the spars, not even to their most powerful saints. He either one of the spar would end in a draw.
This also him experience in battling force users of all kind. He faced spear force, axe force, saber force, and even the unique fist force.
His battle experience expanded greatly as he fought against and witnessed the different special techniques.
While he found time to honor his masters advice, he mainly focused on his path of priesthood. Surprisingly his divine inspiration made him perfect for his applications of priest methods. He was also able to nature his divine inspiration with some priest methods that required divine energy and faith power.
After his priest talents spread within the circle of the church he was summoned to the main church to meet the pope. When Horo and the pope met, the pope nearly prostrated, as if Horo was a god himself.
The pope had special eyes. He was blind his entire life, but he could see anything related to the divine, faith, soul, mind and other supernatural and ethereal concepts.
When he looked at Horo he saw his radiant spirit, and the massive amount of divine energy and faith power used to craft his divine inspiration. He could also see a massive beast that lay as if its slumbering within him. The beast looked as if it was composed of dark stars and the void itself. Like a beast made from "out of space" itself.
The pope immediately took a liking to Horo. He even began teaching Horo everything he knew.
He taught him many ways he could further strengthen his divine inspiration and apply it. The pope taught him many things including what kind of divine inspiration he had.
There were different kinds of divine inspirations, but Horo's was different. He learned that the meaning of "Projection" as well as his use of it, could be as broad as he wished and was only limited by his knowledge, imagination, and power.
He was also worked as an inquisitor for the church while he resided in the main branch, as he was offered to learn under the pope.
....
The Original Horo, who was just a passenger watching this knight version of himself, grumbled many times as he watched this life of his.
He thought "What kind of tragic life is this, this guy never experienced it. He even had the strongest beings of each path he practiced as his personal teachers."
"How ironic, who would have thought that I could actually hate on myself, HA HA."
....
Horo had the perfect opponents to test his priest methods as he learned because he was constantly sent to purge devils dukes or even devil lords.
Speaking of devil dukes and lords, there has been too many appearances of them. This further proved that something major was coming because a certain number of sacrifices or abyssal energy was needed to be able to break the barrier between realities and open a gate for abyssal creatures to enter, and that number was greater the stronger the abyssal creature or devil coming through it.
Horo Vitreae didn't notice, but the bearer of his true origin did, he knew that this had to be the brewing of his tragedy.
