Supreme Devil

Supreme devils are akin to gods, as they are on the same power level. Gods are unable to directly interfere with their worlds, but they can send demigods or other beings from their divine kingdoms down at a cost, and said envoys would have restrictions as well. Gods could also incarnate into a vessel that's compatible and capable of of holding their divine essence, but the price for that is even greater, and if said vessel is to perish they would permanently lose that portion of divine essence. Most gods, even the higher gods, would never pay these prices. This is where they go wrong in the battles against the abyss most of the time. 

Supreme devils are usually unmatched in lesser worlds that don't have many higher gods or a world with gods that underestimate supreme devils, that's why they are able to taint entire worlds before dragging the world cores to the abyss. 

Once they establish a world gate that's linked to a world, it will stay open until that world cease to exist. However, some powers exist that can rid the world of abyssal world gates. 

Just like gods differ in strength with their being higher gods, mid gods, and lower gods. Supreme devils have different powers that tier them differently as well. 

Most devils have their energy condensed within their horns, but their are some special cases due to mutations related to bloodline, powers, or their devils hearts. 

 The supreme devil who was the first to enter Evergreen is a fresh supreme, unbeknownst to all except the super powerhouses around the world, who were in the process of taking advantage of this weaker supreme.

The first supreme devil to enter this world was trying to establish a communication link that would allow the devils to communicate from Evergreen straight to the Abyss, using the world gate as a line. This was the first step to every world corruption plan of the supremes. It would allow the devils to send information back and forth without actually having to travel through the gate. 

Suddenly the the supreme devil looked up while squinting its eyes. It didn't see anything, but it could feel something inexplicable, something akin to a giant fist crushing the sky. 

Before it could react, a force so brutal and destructive began to crush its body. The markings on its horns began to glow brightly, as pure, pitch black abyssal energy began to leak from its body and strengthen it as well. 

It resisted this crushing force with all its might, but the force continued to press down on it. 

After holding on for as long as it could, until it finally felt the force disappear. It breathed a sigh of release for one second, before it remembered the threat has yet to reveal itself. As it looked around and stretched its senses to find the culprit, it was horrified. 

The entire devil army it brought along with it, was now crushed meat paste. It broke out of the feeling of mortification, it noticed a figure in simple clothes standing in ,looking down at it as if it was a peasant.

The figure was stretching his fingers while muttering some words the devil couldn't hear. 

"Umm, I thought I got rusty, but it looks like the precision and force of my jab hasn't truly lost its touch Haha."

Next he spoke loud enough for the supreme devil to hear. 

"You should go back through that filthy gate and tell someone stronger to come,this venerable one has been waiting for a real challenge for a century, I can't believe they only sent a little runt here." 

He said while walking off in the directed he must have come from. 

The supreme devil felt anger beyond verbal explanation boiling within its heart, but it wasn't a retard. It decided to take the chance to go back to the abyss and inform the true supremes.

This fresh supreme devil didn't know that it had just survived an encounter with one of the strongest and most unique force users to ever walk Evergreen, The Fist Venerable. 

AUTHORS NOTE: Sorry there was a mistake made in past chapters, the venerable ones are beyond devil lords and demigods.
