Himora immediately got the information she needed to understand what was happening.
This is a "Void tribulation".
A void tribulation is when one takes on their tribulation within space instead of a stable world, more than ten times powerful than tribulation in a world, but in turn the rewards are equally intense.
What baffled her is why she was currently experiencing a void tribulation when last she checked she was in Azure Moon world.
It must have something to do with her not being in the world of cultivation where tribulations actually occur, unlike Azure Moon. However, this phenomenon was happening, she looked at it as a blessing.
She could now practice the Empyrean Sun technique while having this weird privacy.
And the resources for it are literally falling from the sky, she thought.
As the flames slowly fell from the crack within the void, she made the seal with her hands and performed the Empyrean Sun technique.
She also circulated all of her other techniques with the help of crystal while she was at it, this is because all of them are related to flames and heat. This is the perfect opportunity to make progress, using a boon like void flames could turn out more beneficial than expected.
She had a savory smile on her face until she was actually drenched by the flames.
She thought this would only be a grace since she had a true golden core, but that didn't apply within the void.
Her eyes went wide due to excruciating pain. It felt as if her body, her soul, and even her will were burning beyond anything she had ever felt.
She didn't know but this actually was a grace, she wouldn't die, but the void was still cruel even with its gifts. But this grace was tempering every part of her including her will.
Her wings manifested.
Myriad exited her body along with the Heart of the White Volcano.
Her body sparkled like diamonds.
Her meridians glowed through her body.
Her soul caught fire.
And most importantly, a miniature sun was shining directly above her.
All of the tribulation planes entered her body before being supplied to the techniques, but what exited her was special flames due to the Empyrean Sun technique.
The sun existed in two states and it interchanged between the two, physical and ethereal. The flames it emits act the same as their source. The sun is this special because the aspect she let her sun inherit is her stainless aura, the new and improved version that has ethereal and diamond like qualities.
When it is in its ethereal it's nearly invisible, and it could only be seen due to the outrageous heat it emits.
When it is in a physical state it looks like diamond but more clear like glass. It shines and refract light, making it a physical flame like prism.
All her abilities either evolved, transformed, or received boost from this.
She couldn't even pay attention to any of the notification because of the excruciating pain she was experiencing while all of this was happening.
Suddenly she stopped screaming and twitching, she just sat quietly in space with her eyes closed, while the void spewed white fire on her continuously.
She had entered a state of enlightenment even while experiencing such pain. She far surpass Horo when it comes to talent, and she would be even more special than him if he wasn't backed by the tragic lives spell.
After an unknown period of time within space, the crack leading to the void finally closed, and she was back on top of the pavilion exactly how she was prior to the tribulation.
She still had her eyes closed and she still was protected by her sword intent. Yet, the aura she uncontrollably released upon awakening from her state of enlightenment disintegrated the entire pagoda in an instant before she could reel it in. A few different figures appeared before her within a couple of breaths, but she had already returned to normal.
One of them was Adrian, and he stared at her with sharp eyes, as if he was trying to pierce through her secrets.
She looked at the other figures, who she didn't know at all. One of their aura was much stronger than Adrian's, but she had a gentle smile on her face. She was also the first to speak.
"Since it seems you're aware of the identity of this little hot flower Adrian, why not introduce me to her. I've been looking for a new disciple for decades, my last one has become incompetent."
Adrian's eyebrow twitched, but he knew to respect this woman speaking to him. That's because she is a core elder, Lady Vermillia.
He responded with an even tone "This is young master Felix's future wife, and she doesn't seek a master currently."
Lady Vermillia rubbed her chin before replying "Hmmm, is that right? What was that aura I felt from you young lady? It felt like a sun."
Himora lowered her head from nervousness and responded "This young one has just evolved a skill of mine after having a core advancement. It involves a sword."
Lady Vermillia responded "Oh, I would love to see it myself, but you seem very exhausted. I'll leave you be, for now. If you have a change of heart and seek a master later in time, come to my Vermillion pagoda, I'd love to take you in."
After she said these last words, she winked at Himora then disappeared immediately.
The third person didn't release any aura at all, nor did he wish to speak. He just stared Himora up and down repeatedly, before smiling and nodding at Adrian.
Adrian performed a deep bow, and as his face was facing the ground and smiled brightly. He was forcibly lifted by a strong power, but when his back was straightened the man was gone.
But, he knew the sect master now approved of his previous actions, the actions that brought Himora here for his son's benefit.
Adrian turned back to Himora and said "Young master Felix will be to see you later, get some rest in Aria's pagoda for now until yours is rebuilt."
Himora only nodded and proceeded to do as she was told.
She was brimming with energy from her golden core, but she was mentally and spiritually exhausted from the tribulation.
She'll rest for now, and advance when her pagoda is completed. She could now that she completed her trial.
