Special Status (2)

When Horo stepped into the palace this time, he could feel the soul power of the palace master this time around as she inspected him.

It was gentle and pure, as it caressed his entire being from top to bottom and inside out, as much as possible. She fundled him with the power of her soul until he arrived directly in front of the doors to her main room.

When he did arrive at the doors, they opened right up. When he walked in, the palace master appeared directly in front of him with sharp eyes. She looked him up and down while scrutinizing his appearance thoroughly.

Suddenly, she put her hand on his shoulder, and when she did, he felt an immense force rush through his body. It was as if this force was willing to tear him to shreds just to figure out the secrets of his body. She knew that his body was much more special than he had originally told her.

Now she was actually putting effort into figuring out his secrets and seeing how special he is.

This was because she was now considering making him her second personal disciple after feeling him release that aura and causing the strange phenomena.

After a thorough examination carried out by herself, she knew his body had to be on the level of a divine body at the least, just like her personal disciple and her granddaughter.

She could sense the ferocious beating of his heart, an outrageous amount of vitality in his blood, weird pathways which were his meridians, the extra core that seemed dormant, his eyes, and she could even feel the specialness of the tattoos on his body.

The ones that shimmered with a darkish starlight, and the strange tree with swaying leaves of flame.

She sensed much more than she had expected, and after thinking about it all, she began to think his body may even exceed a divine body.

She knew those with divine bodies have a much greater chance of reaching divinity, the fabled stage beyond the mystics.

A stage she yearned for even though she hadn't reached the mystic stage yet.

After deliberating over the questions she had in her head, she knew what to ask and how, without seeming forceful, that is.

"What are those weird energies that are on par with mana in your body? Are they the reason you had such a weird advancement?"

Horo responded quickly, "The energies are secrets related to my class and physique, but I can tell you that I'm the first to ever have a progenitor class."

Both Elder May and the palace master were stunned beyond their imagination, and they both couldn't help but blurt out:

"A Progenitor class?"

He nodded in response and then explained:

"It's a class level beyond hidden classes and cannot be passed on without special means and circumstances, which is nearly impossible to achieve."

The palace master replied, "Can you at least tell us the name of your class?"

He said with a cool smile, "The True Alternate".

Hearing that name, she couldn't help but think that it had something to do with alternate dimensions or alternate beasts, the pocket worlds within Azure Moon and their inhabitants.

And it was, well, not entirely because parts of Horo are from entirely different worlds, not some side quest worlds.

"Horo, how would you like to become my personal disciple? It would give you a special status within the palace, so there will be no resistance to your special treatment from henceforth," the palace master said.

Horo was shocked by the pieces of information he heard. The palace master let it be known that he would be receiving special treatment from now on. This meant she had high hopes for him in the tournament and in general. Also, she extended an offer for him to be her personal disciple. Even though she made it seem as if it was a cover for his special treatment, he knew she wanted him to be her disciple seriously.

Horo smiled coolly once again and said, "I appreciate you extending the offer, but I have already decided to become Elder May's disciple. That's if she is willing to afford me such an honor."

Horo looked back at Elder May and smiled brightly with a sarcastic look of anticipation.

Their relationship had grown so much over the past couple of months to the point where they knew each other's character enough to play around with each other. Elder May never held back any part of her when it comes to Horo, she really liked him and already acted as his master, at least kind of. She also never meddle in his secrets and allowed him to open up on his own.

Elder May chuckled a little before saying "Brat you already know the answer to that. Luckily you grew the courage to asked me because I was never going to lower myself to and extend the offer. Let's carried out this superfluous moment, now three times for your master and officially become my disciple."

Horo proceeded to kowtow three times for his new master, and after doing so, he was lifted very quickly by a strong power.

It was Elder May's doing, her disciple would never have to kowtow again is what she said after doing so.

She then looked back to the palace master and said "Looks like he knows who the true expert is Eleanor, there is no for you to look so stiff after my snatching of a perfect disciple from you haha."

Eleanor snorted and said "Enough May, we'll host a ceremony for it in three weeks in order to give Horo time to learn to control this aura coming off of him, he'll have every female in the palace falling for him if otherwise."

Horo was stunned, he had thought that he deactivated the passive effect of emperor's regal aura.

Alma spoke up "Father, you have plenty of skills with passive effects that's still making you much more attractive especially the [Flow of Life], but it's mostly just your natural charm after evolving. Your race is on the level of beings from the chaotic era in the cultivation world. I don't think they are aware of the difference in race."

Horo hummed while in thought.
