Challenge (3)

Everyone that could see clearly and exactly what he did was perplexed. They have all seen countless fighting styles, but what Horo just did was something different. It was completely different from the last fighting style he show cased in front of them. They didn't know that his wing chun is a one of a kind fighting style from an entirely different reality, and even there, there weren't many who could master it.

That including his paralyzing strike and the spots he hit on her knocked her out cold by shutting her brain and nerves down.

Outside of that, most of the ten percent could actually tell Horo was just an expert stager, but when he activated them skills they felt it, they felt the gold quality mana he possessed. The purity of it was ridiculous.

They don't know he had also used his negative energy for his wing chun.

All of these factors weren't the main reason Brejay was finished so easily. It was so easy that a lord stager was taken out because she totally underestimated him.

Only two who weren't too surprised were the palace master and Elder May. This is because they understood how special he was, he hadn't even shown them twenty percent of his true powers.

Elder May scoffed so loud it rang in everyone's ears and then she said, "Truly unworthy, who in their right mind would underestimate a disciple of mine so badly."

Horo chuckled after hearing his master's words. Next he took a step to the center of the stage and said mockingly and boldly, "Well it looks like I'm ranked at least 29th out of core disciples, so who's next?"

After hearing Horo's words many felt anger building up, just for it to simmer down immediately. This was in recognition of his strength. What he said was technically right, he would be ranked 29th as a core disciple but personal disciples of the elders and the palace master existed outside of those rankings. This was because their talent was so high they grew exponentially at a quick pace due to being provided with massive resources. Everyone else had to work for their resources. Normally when one defeats another in the palace they take their ranking.

Horo statement also set the standard for those worthy of even stepping in the ring with him. Anyone else below the 29th rank would be an idiot to think they stood a chance against one who just decimated the 29th rank core disciple.

Elder May actually hoped someone within the top ten would challenge Horo. This is because there was an absolute chasm between the 11th rank and the 10th as well as the other ranks until the top three. The top three were absolute monsters, who could even compare to the strongest personal disciples. Actually the number one core disciple is the strongest in the palace currently. She is a Ruler, the 4th stage of the Azure Moon power system. Too bad she's too old to enter the tournament. She'll become an elder soon.

Just as elder May Hoped for one of the top ten stood up and spoke.

"My name is Xiang Hi, and I would love to spar with you. I don't have any negative feelings towards you personally, nor do I look down on you. In fact I think only one of our caliber is worthy the battle you, plus I'm very intrigued by your fighting style so wish to experience personally."

Horo's eyes could see she was telling the truth, she had no negative strings coming off of her. Horo guessed that she majored in the pure cloud technique, unlike him who majored in the true cloud technique. Actually he only practiced the true cloud technique while most of the other disciples practiced both, while others even majored in both due their high achievements in both techniques.

Horo learned that the pure cloud technique was more potent, while the true cloud technique was more versatile.

The true cloud technique could be paired with another technique to cause a mutation to the true cloud.

The pure cloud technique came with auxiliary techniques that would be comprehended the more one progressed in the technique.

Horo knew he had to be weary of the [Gentle Ending Palm] the killer move of the pure cloud technique.

Horo responded kindly since she had pure intentions, "I would love to experience your technique as well, please don't hold back or underestimate me like our fellow disciple here."

He pointed at Brejay as he said his last words. At the same time the part of the stage Brejay laid flat on her back lifted her up after turning to a cloud and transported her to the infirmary.

"Of course, I wouldn't do to do such an inexperienced thing." She said before jumping down to the stage.

Horo had one thing to ask before beginning, "By the way, what is your rank?"

She responded with a slight smile "9th".

Horo was stunned like he was struck by lightening for a couple of breaths.
