***On Planet Gieă, In the Outskirts of the Continent 'Eclipse of the Oceans', In a small house on top of a lonely and silent hill.
The beautiful colours of the evening sky has been replaced by the pale darkness of night.
Tonight brings with it a bright night-sky with an almost full moon as well as countless dot-like stars littering the cosy veil of darkness.
Under the veil of the bright night, a chilly and gently wind rocks the brown patches of shrubs into a natural *buzz* that's just one of the many sounds that were overlapping in the darkness.
Most people in the inner Outskirts are already in their house. Shutting their doors, these people let sleep give them the charge to face tomorrow but at the same time, for different other people the night life has just come alive with the moon as its grand spotlight.
The guards on patrol, the cultivators in guesthouses, the beasts in the forest, the lamps in the elite streets and most importantly, the wicked people in the darkness.
Licking his lips, a calm and fully geared up Navi stealthily looks out through a gap of his curtains before quietly stepping away. Barely making any noise, Navi walks across the house before standing beside a wall.
This specific wall in his house looks plain and even a bit artistic as bricks can be seen poking out of the smooth wall in a seemingly irregular yet artistic pattern.
Placing his hand on one brick, Navi pull himself up. From one brick to another, Navi starts to scale up the wall and it immediately becomes obvious that the bricks poking out of these walls serve way more than artistic purposes.
Suited up neatly in his white training suit that's padded with soft cream metal in all the right places, Navi scales up the wall. His sheathed Claymore sword is firmed across his back with its handle peeping over his shoulder.
Navi looks fully battle ready with his twin daggers tucked by the side of his boots and his finger-open black gloves firmly worn over his hands.
These finger-open gloves were weaved with tough metal knuckles for punching. On Navi's forearms and weaved to his suit's sleeves lays cream metallic paddings that looks like that can take solid hits.
His total attire looks deadly but on a deeper level, it can be said to be rather in terms of the major purpose of an armor which is defense.
Finally scaling up the wall with the exposed bricks, Navi pulls himself up into a small the triangular roof-pocket. Sitting down in the small rof pocket, Navi takes a small break as he strokes his pendant.
He doesn't know a lot about instincts and haven't really interacted with other kids but even amongst 'adults' he knows that he's weird..
Deadly infact.
Navi has not seen the stalkers after him nor does he have any actual evidence that they are out there yet, not even for once has Navi considered or even wanted to consider the possibility that his stalkers aren't out there.
Not even for one second has Navi even remotely considered the possibility of escaping or calling for help. Internally, Navi has put a bit of consideration into the fact that what he is planning to do can all go wrong. The probability of things going wrong infact seems very high and Navi has had a bit of hesitation from this realization.
Considering the fact that Navi is fully suited for battle then it's obvious that Navi has killed off every hesitation in his heart thus leaving Navi with nothing but a cold predator's determination.
Still sitting, Navi plants a small kiss on his pendant and hides it behind his vest before hitting a nearby traditional switch that immediately turns down the lanterns in his house into a very dim glow meant for sleeping.
He turns his sitting posture to face the inside of the roof's pocket. With purpose to his hands, Navi some adjustments in the roof's pocket while revealing a medium sixed hidden window.
Silently opening the window, streams of moonlight falls in through the roof-pocket and onto Navi's pale face and ink-black hair. From the bricks in the wall to the roof pocket then to the hidden window.
All of these were all designed by Navi's mother for the purpose of escape as she has obviously considered the possibility of an attack of this type.
In a Cultivation world or atleast in the Outskirts, everyone is responsible for their own life and wealth. There is no bank, no savings account and the only insurance you'll get is the one you make yourself.
The hidden window in their roof space is Eleanora's own attempt at giving herself and Navi life some insurance to escape the worse in times of an attack though Navi has another purpose for using this space.
Still sitting Navi doesn't need to look hard in order to find to find a rolled-up thick hay rope. Holding it's end outside the window, Navi lets go as he wacthes the rope fall out with its tip almost kissing the ground.
One end of the hay rope has been firmly tied to a metal hook so Navi has no worries as begins to crawls out of the roof window and then to the outside.
Holding onto the ropes with his legs against the outside wall, Navi pauses his movement as he closes the hidden window while keeping in mind that he is almost three meters above the ground.
With the heavy knotings of the rope as support, Navi tries his stealthy best to move down to the ground. He seems to do every action fluidly as he gently reaches the ground only twenty seconds after.
Making zero sounds, Navi observes his immediate surroundings. Silent, Navi notes nothing out of order or triggering his instincts.
He knows he's safe cause by this side of his house, he is completely shielded from the angle of his stalker's view.
With slightly bent knees Navi walks silently and close to his house walls as he moves around his house while sticking as close to the shadows as possible.
Stopping by a corner of his house, Navi pauses his steps. As subtly as he can manage, Navi peeks from the corner while finding his home's front side as well as its only entrance and exit door.
Turning his gaze slightly, Navi looks to the uneven slopes of the hill for a few seconds and then he withdraws his gaze.
Navi is already in his ideal battle position and so hidden in the dark corner with his back against the wall, his left hand slowly reaches to his boots.
With his face hidden coldly in the cold darkness, Navi silently pulls out one of his pairs of dagger from his boot and grabs it into a firm backwards grip.
The sharp tip of the dagger shines dangerously under the pale moonlight as the blade lightly trembles under the intensity of Navi's grip.
Navi places the palm clenching the dagger against his chest and powerfully beating heart, Navi takes silent yet deep breaths with his eyes closed. A few seconds passes as Navi slowly reopens his eyes and then..
He waits.
Knowing that they wouldn't attack him as soon as he gets home, Navi has had enough time to guess what the stalkers want and how they would possibly move.
From observation, the stalkers were careful enough not to carry out their operation in day-time and so Navi can easily guess that they are probably waiting for him to hit the bed before moving in.
These stalkers aren't scared of Navi but rather they are scared of the possible passer-bys through these routes as well as the superhuman senses of distant cultivators.
The hill is after all is still a part of the upper-sector of the Outskirts and hosting an operation in broad daylight in an area hosting cultivators with heightened senses is nothing short but foolish.
To play their plans into his own, Navi had turned down the lights inside. The intruders would definitely take this observation as evidence that Navi is off to bed and so to the, all that's left is the breaking-in and breaking-out part of things.
Looking through the corner, Navi expects movements from his stalkers soon and so he watches on calmly.. Stalking the Stalkers.
Minutes pass in stillness and soon, a head peeks out of a corner of the hill's slope. A figure whose face is hidden behind a messy mask made out of thin bamboo pieces slowly walks out.
Soon, four other people who are dressed similarly follows and Navi silently does an head count as well he tries to judge the strengths and weakness of each of their physiques that easily dwarfs his own. He also tries to find out the weapons they carry.
Watching them, Navi seea as the masked figures spoke to each other in low voices and they move to the front of his door steadily though without much caution.
Getting to his door, one of the stalker's goes down on one knee as he pulls out a small door picking kit. The guy seems fast with things and immediately he starts trying to pick the door though just as he starts, he soon tilts his head in confusion before slowly pulling down on the door handle.
#CHUCKLE¡#.
To his surprise made evident by a small thrilled and amused chuckle, the pushed door opens up ever so slightly.
With his hand still on the door's handle, Troy(Navi's room-mate) rises up from his kneeling position before looking at Diane's masked face with amusedly pursed lips.
The bad feeling Diane said to have been feeling obviously comes from a calm looking kid who somehow forgot to lock the door in a Cultivation world despite the fact that he has no other protection!
"Ooohh¡..", The big guy with a spiked wooden shield amongst the invaders whispers a sacastic scared sound at Diane while the bulky half-dwarf female chuckles in a low tone.
Rolling his eyes behind his mask, Troy fully push open the door with four out of the five-man group silently walking into the house while the last one standing guard outside.
On the inside of the house, Troy's eyes finds slight trouble adjusting to the low lighting of the house that's just a step away from complete darkness.
The outside of the house is much more brighter under the influence of the full moon than on the inside which is under the influence of the night mode lanterns that leaves the space only a bit better than in complete darkness.
Watching the actions of the intruders, Navi finally takes his palm off his chest with his eyes gaining a deadly glean. He silently adjusts his posture into something much suitable for action and then..
