OPERATION WITHIN THE MILITARY'S EMERGENCY BAYS.

***Continent 'Eclipse of the Oceans'. In the territory of one of the arms of the court-(Sliver Wing Clan's territory)-..

***North-West Region, Saccurrus also known as 'Home of the Wild'. In the emergency bay of One of the Mid Class Military Bases..

"What's his Rank and Pathways?..", A healing Mage asks one of the health workers as she escorts the dying soldier on the strap bed to a empty bed corner.

Looking up at the attending healing Mage, the first thing Julian does is checks out her badge. On the left chest the attending Healing Mage's official robe sits a bronze badge of two stars placed in the middle of a semicircle.

Intermediate Mid level Rank two Healing Mage.

Farmiliar with how to read the badge, Julian licks her lips in slight frustration as she knows that the dying Soldier on the Healing bed is an entire level above that of the attending healing Mage.

"He's a warrior and his Cultivation is at Intermediate Peak Level Rank two.", One of the health worker says while confirming Julian's internal monologue as the workers begin to strip off amour-pieces off the injured soldier's while leaving his body bare.

Julian watches silently as a small cringe appear on the Healing Mage's face from the workers report but that quickly disappears as she focuses on saving the man's life. With the healing Mage helping with the process, the battered chest plates and shoulder pads of the unconscious soldier is soon stripped off to bare.

Acting carefully but quickly, the Healing Mage takes her hands off the man's armour as she gathers sparks of mana into her palm obviously to begin examination.

There is a massive wound by the side of the soldier's bare chest and this gruesome opening shows broken ribs and damaged tissues.

There is no signs of continuous blood loss despite the gruesome wound being open and everyone can tell that the lack of blood flow is an obvious effect of an alchemical product as well as a rigidly sculpted warrior's body.

Despite the fact that this gruesome wound is near the heart and have definitely scarred the lungs, the attending Healing Mage only gives it a single glance as she obviously did not regard it as the main problem of the dying soldier.

Very rarely does Cultivators and especially those of the WARRIOR pathways die from surface or physical injuries. For an injury on a Warrior's body to be considered for fatal strike, it would have to be extreme for instance - injury to the brain, a stab to the heart, complete destruction of the lungs or extreme loss of blood -.

As for the current patient, Not only is he of the Warrior's pathways but he is an elite Intermediate Peak Level Rank 2 warrior!. It would be completely hilarious if he is dying from a couple of shattered ribs and a portion of his lungs being destroyed.

Considering the fact that the injured soldier has already taken an alchemical product that have stabilised the injury then it is safe for any healer to conclude that without poison, dying immediately from this injury becomes not just hilarious but downright impossible.

With her palm shining with green sparks, the Healing Mage moves her hands over the top of the warrior's injury before closing her eyes. Julian tensely watches at the healing Mage quickly and quietly roams her hand all over the surface of the Warrior's body before re-opening her eyes.

"His Body is completely filled up with uncontrolled Mana and it's tearing apart his Mana veins. Good thing he's a warrior or else his body would be suffering worst shocks and hidden leaks than he's having right now.. but it also bad that he's a Warrior's because he's not designed to hold such high levels of Mana either chaotic or not.", The Healing Mage explains almost to herself as she keeps up with the examination of the soldier's body frame.

"I don't want the symptoms.. I want to see you get him healed!.", Julian says slowly with her voice as cold as her gaze. She has been keeping her silence but now she is getting extremely upset and tense about the current situation and it seems she's quickly nearing her limits.

The soldier lying on the sick bed right now had taken a direct shot for her in battle and she is very sure she would be dead if not for him.

She would definitely feel extremely guilty if he dies from this!.

The Healing Mage who is just as tense as the others raises her head and gives Julian a pissed-off glance though she ignores her the next second as she puts her gaze back on the dying man in her care.

The Healing mage pulls out an Emerald rock from seemingly out of nowhere and then she activates it with her mana before pushing it against the soldier's chest with both her hands.

As an Earth Mage, Julian is sensitive to mana just like all mages and so, she can sense as the emerald rock starts sucking out a lot of uncontrolled Mana out of the unconscious soldier's body with the path of a small whirlpool.

The Healing mage is obviously doing a lot of job in directing the pathways through which the ruggard mana passes through in the soldier's mana vein network.

If not for the healing mage's focused control then the damage to be done by uncontrolled suction would have definitely killed the already dying soldier very quickly and painfully.

After a few long seconds of suction, the Healing Mage is lightly sweating as she takes the Emerald rock off the soldier's chest with a steamy breath escaping her lips.

A lot of people feels their nerves relax a bit at the end of the successfully suction but all of a sudden, the still unconscious soldier's has his skin turning pale rapidy.

Some part on the soldier's skin started tuning into shades of pink and crimson which is obviously signs of numerous internal bleeding.

The soldier's already weak heart beat slows down with his body giving a small shudder that sends chills down everyone's spines.

"What's happening?.", Another soldier present from Julian's squad asks while stepping forward as he has sensed the instant shift in his mate's condition.

Completely ignoring the question and the questioner, the healing Mage slowly rubs her palms together with a flash of green glow building up between them and then she once more places both her hands over the soldier's chest.

A small halo of green seems to spread from her point of contact with the halo spreading quick to envelope the soldier's skin. As a visible speed, the accumulating blood under his soldier's reddened skin retreats and his pale skin slowly regains colours of life.

Small wounds on the soldier's body seals back up and even the gruesome wound on the soldier's chest goes through a rapid healing process as it closes itself up to seventy percent.

The soldier condition stabilises a lot more but every cultivator present can tell that although the soldier's heart is beating, the soldier still isn't breathing.

Knowing from experience that they would get ignored if they ask questions, Julian and her mates can only quietly wacth the Healing mage work.

Taking her palms off the soldier's chest, the Mage re-circulates her mana with her irises turning slightly green. She whispers a short tune then takes in a deep breath bending her face over the unconscious soldier's face as if planning to give him a kiss.

A subconscious frown appears on Julian's face at this action but she does not do anything to stop the action.

With lips closed and her cheeks a bit puffed, the Healing Mage suddenly opens her mouth while letting out a streaming cloud of deep yet healthy green unto the soldier's still face.

STRAINED GASP!.

The cloud of green invades the soldier's nose and with a deep and forced breath, he begins to breath normally again.

A wave of relief washes over Julian. The relief is mostly from knowing that the unconscious soldier would be fine but a part of her consciously denies that a small part of her relief comes from knowing that the Healing mage did not kiss the man.

"He'll be fine.", The Healing Mage calmly remarks to the waiting soldiers while looking and sounding exhausted with a thin layer of cold sweat resting on her forehead.

Healing someone that's just a minor level above her own has obviously made the Mage a lot stressed. Considering the severity of the injury as well the toughness of the physical attributes of the Warrior's pathways, the healer is grateful that she successfully completed the procedure without running out of mana or needed techniques.

Although the healer hasn't fully healed the soldier up to hundred percent, she has depleted up to eighty percent of her reserved mana in a go!. This high level of mana-depletion shows just how much of a strain dealing with someone just one level higher than her own is for healers.

Normally -according to protocol-, the attending Healing mage shouldn't even be treating someone a level above her own but in emergency situations like this, what else can she do?.

Mages are already a rare find amongst cultivators talk-more special elemental mages like Healing Mages who must have strong affinities levels to wood energies, mid affinitiy level to light energies and atleast a minute amount of affinity to life.

Eclipse of the Oceans is known to be populated by mostly humans or half-human species and unfortunately, compared to the elves' humans are known for their pathetic affinity to life and nature.

Rarely do people with potential to become healing mages spawn and because of this, attending healing mages like the current healer are a rare find. They become even rarer during extreme military periods like the last few months where there is always one emergency or the other.

In this situation, there is no other higher level healer on ground and so the current healer had to fill those boots. This section would otherwise not be called an 'emergency bay' if its personnel's aren't trained to respond to emergencies.

"Pack him up and send him to the Infantry's Green-halls(Name given to Military hospitals on Gieă).", The Healing Mage instructs to a health worker as she begins to exit. She would need some time to recover.

"Thank you.", Julian sincerely says to the Healing mage who calmly turns to look at her. Just moments ago, Julian had yelled at her in agitation but now she's giving her sincere gratitude.

Looking beyond the moment's disrespect caused by tension, the healer calmly nods in acceptance of the gratitude before continuing to carry on with her exit.

She has had enough experience in these emergency bays than to hold a grudge over something so trival.
