Grace had been crying for thirty minutes, and she had no plans of stopping; she just couldn't believe that her mom was dead.
They always argued and all, but it was her mom; she always protected her no matter what.
"Grace," Mr. Ye called, but she didn't reply; she was already too weak and looked pale because she cried a lot. He crouched and helped her up. "Stop crying; what your mom needs is justice," he explained, and she chuckled.
"Justice?"
Her mom was gone; what justice was he talking about? "Yes, Raymond killed her, and he needs to pay."
Grace pushed his hand away from her and walked out of there; she kept walking down the street alone, with Mr. Ye following behind her with his car.
"You said it was just us now, so why did you leave?" She couldn't stop herself from crying.
"Please don't go." Now she had a lot of regrets; she had spent three years ignoring her mom, and now she was gone.
