Chapter 65:The Interrogation

In a hidden treehouse deep in the forest, Allen had securely tied up Audrey.

To be honest, Allen had lost count of how many secret treehouses and tree holes he had established during this time.

His cautious nature, coupled with the paranoia developed from smuggling, made him firmly believe in the principle of building strong defenses and stockpiling supplies.

Moreover, the extraordinary abilities of a plant mage, when combined with plants, were like adding wings to a tiger.

Each treehouse and tree hole he created was stocked with basic supplies sufficient to survive for a few days.

Whenever Allen needed, these places served as temporary fortresses.

Allen brought Audrey to one such treehouse. Not far away, in another larger banyan tree with a hollow trunk, was a tree hole where Allen held a woman from the Dagon Cult captive.

Audrey, terrified by Allen's actions, took a while to regain her composure.
