The Fall of the Abomination King!

The battle intensified, becoming more ferocious by the minute. Dozens of undead bosses frenziedly assaulted the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King and its allied undead dragons. The Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King faced off against at least twenty undead bosses, each exceptionally powerful, with a minimum of high Saint-tier strength and eight at the peak of the Saint tier. Even the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King felt a slight pressure, though it was only a slight one. This level of siege couldn't threaten it; at best, it could only delay their inevitable demise.

Nearly thirty more undead bosses besieged the other undead dragons, including the Zombie Dragon King, Voris. The battle reached a fever pitch, with bodies exploding in the melee. In a fight between undead, a shattered body meant a difficult resurrection, as the victors would devour the soul essence of the fallen.

Take Zombie Dragon King Voris, for example. Relying on its formidable strength and tough hide, it rampaged across the battlefield. Whenever an undead boss fell, Voris would be the first to rush over and devour its soul essence, leaving no chance for resurrection. Through this relentless devouring, Voris grew increasingly powerful and was on the brink of a breakthrough.

As the battle continued, the number of undead bosses dwindled. In less than ten minutes, over twenty undead bosses had been slain—a remarkable achievement. However, Voris and the other undead dragons also suffered losses, with four zombie dragons falling in combat, their soul essences devoured by the enemy.

This was the nature of undead warfare: devour or be devoured.

"Don't kill me!" A terrified scream echoed across the battlefield. It was the Abomination King. Towering nearly a hundred meters tall, its body was covered in decaying flesh, and countless twisted faces adorned its skin—faces of the living beings it had devoured. The Abomination King reveled in consuming fresh life, whether human, beast, or other intelligent creatures. It took perverse pleasure in the screams of its victims as they were digested.

But now, it was the Abomination King's turn. The Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King, now in a frenzy, targeted it. In an instant, the Abomination King's domain was shattered by the Dragon Python King's law power. It tried to flee but couldn't outrun the Dragon Python King, augmented by the law of wind. The Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King's claws seized the Abomination King, the tearing pain eliciting desperate screams for mercy.

Instinctively, the Abomination King spewed green toxic mist at its attacker. This poison, potent enough to corrode metal, was comparable to the corpse dragon's breath. Yet, it barely affected the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King, leaving only minor blisters that felt like nothing more than a tickle.

Amid the Abomination King's terrified and despairing screams, the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King exerted its strength, ripping the massive body in two. The Abomination King's soul tried to escape but was swiftly devoured by the Dragon Python King. Thus, the Abomination King, a tyrant of the southwestern region of the Fallen Dragon Gorge for over a century, met a swift end.

Its corpse fell into the green lake of its lair below, where its former minions, the abominations, celebrated by feasting on its remains. Once their master, the Abomination King was now their sustenance. Perhaps one day, a new Abomination King would rise from this lake, but that was a story for another time.

With the Abomination King defeated, the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King turned its attention to the remaining undead bosses, particularly those at the peak of the Saint tier. None of them could survive more than a minute under its relentless assault. On this battlefield, the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King epitomized the overwhelming power gap between a demigod and Saint-tier beings.

Amid the chaos, a blood-red figure emerged from the dark veil. It was Gabriel, the blood dragon. Significantly smaller than before, Gabriel's size had shrunk from nearly a hundred meters to less than thirty, and its rank had dropped from Saint to extraordinary. The escape from the Dragon Python King's law domain had come at a great cost.

Upon escaping, Gabriel immediately contacted the Skeleton Dragon King, hundreds of kilometers away, detailing their tragic encounter with the disguised demigod. The Skeleton Dragon King's curt response, "I understand," was all Gabriel needed to maintain faith in its master's swift arrival to slay the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King.

Indeed, the Skeleton Dragon King did not disappoint. Within minutes, its colossal figure appeared on the horizon, radiating a terrifying law power. In an instant, the dark veil created by the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King was shattered, revealing the battlefield under the moonlight.

No bodies littered the ground; all remnants had fallen into the gorge below. The battle continued, but the numbers were greatly reduced. Out of more than fifty undead bosses, only eleven remained. The undead dragons of the Golden Oasis faction had suffered losses, with eight zombie dragons slain. The survivors were the Sky-Swallowing Dragon Python King, Zombie Dragon King Voris, Ghost Dragon Charles, and two high Saint-tier zombie dragons.

Eleven against five. Had the Skeleton Dragon King arrived a few minutes later, the remaining undead bosses would have been in grave danger. Now, they quickly retreated to the Skeleton Dragon King's side, glaring at the undead dragons with renewed confidence, bolstered by their formidable ally.
