In the dimly lit confines of an underground hideout, the notorious Calandro crew convened around a worn table, their menacing presence evident. Their clandestine gatherings always took place on Sundays, a day when their adversaries least expected it.
As the members engaged in hushed discussions, their leader emerged, commanding an unsettling silence. The room fell quiet, heavy with anticipation, as the crew awaited their master's instructions for the day's operation.
Shrouded in mystery, he wore his signature mask and hat, which cast a shadow over his face, making him unrecognizable. His staff, an extension of his power, was always grasped firmly in his hand.
His true identity remained a secret, even to his loyal crew members, who feared him too much to dare cross him. With a reputation for ruthlessness, cunning, and a complete lack of empathy, he was aptly dubbed "Stoney Devil" - a name that struck fear into the hearts of all who heard it.
As he took his seat at the head of the table, the crew members rose to their feet, a gesture of respect and intimidation. His chair was positioned to face away from them, creating a physical barrier that reinforced his enigmatic presence.
Once settled, the crew bowed their heads in unison, a ritualistic show of deference before commencing their gathering.
"Today is the day we hit the Dallas Estate," he began, in a low voice that could send shivers down someone's spine. "You can't seem to mess things up, we've been planning for this attack over a year now, no mistake must be done. No clues must be left behind, it must be a clean job."
"Yes boss," they chorused, in one accord.
"Dante is already waiting for you all, he'll give you instructions on how to move. Remember who we're after in the estate, Douglas Den's mansion. I repeat no trace must be left behind, now get all the things ready, we have no time to waste," he ordered, in a tone that spoke authority.
"Yes boss!" they chorused in runison, ready to carry out their operation.
"Antonio wait behind," he commanded, as the rest left, their eyes flashing with a cold hard rage. "It's time for you to have your revenge, make sure you uncover the truth about her death. You can't let your sister's death go down the drain like that, do the needful."
"Yes boss, I'll show no mercy, I must avenge my sister's death," he answered, his eyes burned with a fierce, frozen fury.
"That's more like it Antonio Williams, take the laws into your hands," he said, admist a vigorous laughter. Antonio bowed, as he left with a wicked smile on his lips. He was going to make sure everyone that has a hand in his sister's death, is going to pay with their blood.
Antonio's sister was murdered in cold blood, while she was pregnant. The news left Antonio devastated, and he promised to get revenge. Though they still can't fathom who the father of the baby was or why they killed her. But according to their investigation over the past year, they found traces leading to the Den's family. He didn't know how they were involved in the whole scheme, but he was surely going to get answers after the day's operation.
Dante stood watch at the Dallas Estate's entrance, awaiting the crew's arrival. With a cautious eye, he granted them access, ensuring their presence went unnoticed. They drove into the compound, parking their vehicle at the rear of the Den's mansion, strategically positioning themselves for a swift exit.
The team disembarked, donning disguises as they split into two groups: some slipped in through the back gate, while others took out the security detail with stealthy precision, before entering through the front gate.
They broke into the mansion but no one was at home. "Search the house!" Antonio ordered as they carried out the order immediately. After minutes of searching they all came back to the sitting room. "Antonio we can't find any money," one of the crew members reported and the rest nodded in agreement.
"Keep searching, CJ's hacking into the house's surveillance system, but I think he's just cracked the code," Antonio urged, his hand pressed against his earpiece, his eyes fixed intently on the crew. "Wait, he's got something. CJ, what have you got?" Antonio's voice was laced with anticipation, as he listened intently to the voice on the other end of the line.
"Move out, the secret door is behind the kitchen's cabinet!" Antonio exclaimed, leading the charge towards the kitchen. They swiftly located the hidden entrance, but their excitement was short-lived as they found it secured with a lock. The team let out a collective sigh, aware that time was ticking away.
"CJ's working his magic," Antonio reassured them, as they waited anxiously for the hacker to crack the code. Moments later, the lock clicked open, and they pushed through the door to reveal a room overflowing with bags of cash. The team's faces lit up with triumphant grins as they rubbed their hands together.
"Let's move, load the cash into the truck!" Antonio commanded, and the team sprang into action, swiftly and efficiently filling the vehicle with the loot. They worked tirelessly for nearly half an hour, until a sudden alert from Dante made them freeze: Douglas Den had returned to the Estate and was heading straight for the house.
With hearts racing, they hastily concealed their tracks, resecuring the room and restoring everything to its original state, leaving no trace of their presence.
"Everyone to the truck, I have an unfinished business with the Den's" Antonio said, as they left leaving him and two other crew members.
They lay in wait, concealed in strategic positions, anticipating Douglas's arrival. Soon, he appeared at the residence with his wife, both dressed to impress, hinting at a high-society event.
Flanked by two burly bodyguards, they entered the house, unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows. Antonio gave a subtle hand signal to his team, and they sprang into action, taking down the bodyguards from behind, leaving Douglas and his wife frozen in terror.
"Who are you and what do you want, name anything and I'll give it to you," Douglas stammered, fright washed over his face.
"Oh...the hotel mougul is suddenly afraid, how pitiful," Antonio said, sarcasm written all over his voice as he pointed a gun at Douglas.
"Please what do you want?" He asked, sweat coming out from his face.
"Information, I need information," Antonio answered, cracking the gun.
"I'll give you all the information you need," he answered, in a panic state.
"Who killed Lily Williams?" He asked, the gun pressed against Douglas forehead.
"I don't know who that is," he answered, sincerity laced in his tone.
"You have one more chance before I blow your head off, who killed Lily Williams?" He asked for the second time ready to released the bullet.
"I'll tell you everything I know about it," his wife suddenly spoke up, and they both turned to look at her in surprise. "I promise I'll tell you everything, but please don't hurt us," she pleaded as continuous tears ran down her eyes.
