The boy gently sat beside Isadora's bed, his eyes locked on hers. "Sister," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
Emily, still recovering from her injuries, tried to sit up but winced in pain, her abdomen throbbing from the gunshot wound. The boy quickly cautioned her, "Don't move, you're still hurt." Emily nodded, her eyes fixed on the boy.
"I've finally found you," he exclaimed, his face filled with joy and relief. "I've been searching for you everywhere. I don't know how you recognize me as your brother but when you're feeling better, I'll explain everything I know." Isadora nodded weakly, her eyes never leaving her brother's face.
Just then, Princess Eliana entered the room, her expression curious. "What's happening here?" she asked, noticing the boy beside Isadora's bed.
The boy stood up, his eyes shining with excitement. "I've found my long-lost sister, the one I've been telling you about," he announced, his voice filled with emotion.
