His red eyes closed as he breathed in the sweaty, warm but familiar air of the gym. This was his last day on his single month subscription.
He could stay the night and leave in the morning but he felt like tackling the new issue of no shelter is one better done earlier than later.
He sighed, he kind of wished he found shelter before he had to leave. He looked back at the machines he had made so much progress on in such a short time and felt proud but also relieved that his muscles would stop aching so much.
He had spent the last two weeks on a mix of focusing Boxing, footwork and cardio with a mix of strength training in the mix.
And they had been a productive, fun two weeks but he had to move on. He wrapped the black jacket Spider-Man had given him and took his last steps in the gym.
He ignored the receptionist who barely noticed his presence and pushed open the double doors with a flourish as he was met with the cold New York night air against his pale skin.
He turned to his left, a random choice and started to walk, he felt his beaten shoes slap against the wet streets and his red eyes scan the alleys he passed and any nearby person.
He was still paranoid about the mutants.
The fact they hadn't found him yet was disconcerting, not only was it confusing but it was worrying.
Did some other more powerful group have him in there sights? Did the mutants have people watching him.

He felt the hairs on his neck rise and he turned quickly only to see an empty street.
His stomach sank, something was wrong.
His eyes bounced around his surroundings like a pinball searching for any threats. He felt a sweat break on his brow and wiped it away quickly as he turned around again.
Destroy
Something is wrong.
He felt his eyes water, he could feel something, everything is wrong, he just needs to destroy everything.
Destroy.
His eyes were now burning, filled with tears.
The hand came to him in a mind searing image, it was reaching out to him.
He squeezed his eyes shut and covered them with his right hand, hoping, praying this was some sort of vision.
He felt his back meet a wall and felt himself slide down to the ground in a shaking mess.
Destroy
What's wrong, why is this happening!
"Stop, please stop" he weakly begged with a cracking voice that screamed despair.
He doesn't know who or what he's begging to, he doesn't even know what he wants, does he want to stop thinking, stop that hand, stop everything!
He felt his frustration build, and as he had done everytime the voice whispered into his head he pushed it down, he pushed it into a screaming pulsing ball of emotions that he didnt, no couldn't control.
He felt lighter, that's all he had to do, keep pushing frustration into that ball.
When it's released, that's someone else's problem.
He wiped his eyes and stood shakily, he kept walking down the empty narrow street. He kept an eye on anything that moved and checked his back far more times than needed.
Destroy
He looked down his still shaking hands "W-What's happening to me" his voice cracked, he liked control, he loved control especially when that control was over himself, now though he had lost every ounce of control.
Destroy
The whisper invaded his mind with ease.
Destroy
He used a nearby wall to stabilise himself.
Destroy
Destroy
He felt his fist clench.
Destroy
The whisper unendingly invaded his mind.
It had done for the last month.
Destroy.
"Destroy" he whispered to himself.
Destroy
The sound of a car disturbed his mental break and he turned to the loud engine immediately, he needed something to concentrate on.
His eyes met the eyes of the familiar driver. She pulled over without any hesitation and pulled down her window revealing her bright red hair.
"Hey, never seen you out of that gym before. You good?" She asked lightheartedly as her eyes ran across the distressed teenagers face.
Said teenager only stared at her in stupefaction. "Uh, no I mean yeah, I'm good but the gym was no" his words were ramble, no real sense to be made of them and her response was to chuckle and point at her passenger door.
"You coming?" She asked, when she saw the clear hesitation on the teenagers face, she added a sweetener "I'll even tell you my name" she playfully said.
His jaw was clenched, he couldn't trust these people, his eyes went to the rooftops and saw nothing.
Destroy
He shook off the thought, it wasn't his thought. None of this was him, he didn't destroy, he just wanted to be strong.
Don't trust them!
He paused, that's the first time the voice said anything other than destroy. He felt a grin raising on his pale face, he had won.
It was just trying to manipulate him, manipulate him to its whims and fancies.
He pictured the hand in his mind and saw it rotted carcass and only felt contempt.
He almost carelessly walked round the woman's car and jumped in the passenger door, the seats were leather and the car looked quite expensive.
"We're getting something to eat" The woman next to him said just as Tomura was going to ask she spoke up. "My name is Natalia, now what's yours Albino?"
"Tomura" said teenager felt a smile growing on his face.
DONT TRUST THEM!

He was sat at a table in a small takeout place and his eyes wandered over the mouth watering menu, the way this place described food made it sound heavenly.
But then again, after living on protein bars for a month straight anything sounds heavenly.
Destroy
He threw the thought away with ease.
He looked across at Natalia who was intensely studying the menu, he looked out the large window besides him. The restaurant was a small place, only two storeys tall. Something seemingly rare for New York, he looked around the cosy Asian place and felt content.
The food smelt amazing.
Destroy
He ignored the rampant thought with ease. He felt surprisingly content, what are the chances he just came across Natalia.
He scoffed to himself, what a lucky guy.
The place must be super busy in the day, he took another look around and saw only one other person in the place. It was a small dining area with about 20 seats but surely they're should be more people here at 8pm.
Well that was the time he left the gym, it's probably way later now.
An itch developed at the back of his neck.
Destroy.
This time he couldn't throw it away as easily.
He noticed another man come in the place and breathed a sigh of relief, of course this place was just starting to get busy.
He watched as the cashier…the cashier.
When he showed up it was a small Asian woman, now, now it's a tall American woman.
He scratched his neck anxiously.
Destroy
"You good?" He looked up at the voice and met the sparkling eyes of Natalia
He felt urgency racing through his blood, "I might just head back to the gym" he said while looking out the window. He probably had an hour or two left on the subscription.
He must do.
The gym felt safe, warm and closed off. Only two entrances the front one and the back one, at night he always locked off the back one and kept a close ear out.
"No, no let's at least get a bite or two" Natalia responded lightheartedly with a laugh. "You love the gym but you've gotta get out here with the rest of us someday" she smiled brightly and met his anxious red eyes.
Destroy
She reached out to his palm resting on the table between them, she hesitated but placed her warm hand on his sweating one. "It's okay trust m-" she continued speaking but he ignored it.
She hesitated.
Why would she hesitate.
Why would you hesitate to touch someone's hand.
No reason.
Hands aren't dangerous.
They're not weapons.
His eyes widened.
Unless your him.
Destroy! Destroy! Destroy her now!
His breathing spiked and he grabbed her wrist and was about to turn her to a pile of blood and organs.
*Click*
His blood turned to ice, he felt the cold barrel of metal pressed against the back of his skull.
"Not so quick Albino" a deeper voice said from behind him. Her hand was still in his grip and he could, he could kill her any second but she seemed calm.
She knew she could die any second but seemed calm, why.
"We wanna talk." Her voice was now cold, emotionless and her eyes that were once sparkling were now dull and empty.
